10 Things You Should Know About UniFi

1. This service is a 24-month contract and a termination fee of the total cost of the remaining months on your contract is chargeable for termination of service within the contract period.

2. If your premises reside in high rise building served via copper, you must terminate your existing Streamyx service (if any).

3. Minimal drilling is required for fibre installation to the premise. You will be responsible for providing TV and 4-socket extension cord to complete the installation. No installation appointment will be made for premises under renovation.

4. All triple play services (internet, voice and TV) must be activated during service installation. Partial service activation is not allowed.

5. UniFi is a wired broadband service. Wireless connectivity is an option and is subject to interference and obstructions factor.

6. UniFi account owner or authorised contact person must be available during the service installation. For high rise premises, owners are required to make arrangement with Building Management Office for installation permission, internal cabling and access to telecommunication room.

7. Installation fee includes external cable entrance up to the internal wiring with maximum of 15 metres for fiber cable, 15 meters for Ethernet/phone cables and 30 metres for casing (raceway). Additional charges will be applied for cable more than 15 metres and 30 metres casing (raceway) and charges will be included in your UniFi bill. See video below for optional installation charges.

8. For other non-standard installation e.g. wiring above ceiling, underground and conceal wiring, you may appoint your own contractor or deal directly with TM appointed contractor. Payment will be made directly to the contractor.

9. Please provide correct and valid Billing Address / Postal Address. Please provide valid and preferred e-mail address, or phone number as bill will be sent via e-mail or SMS. 10. All UniFi equipment provided by TM is subject to 12 months warranty period.

IMPORTANT NOTES (MUST READ)

Internal Wiring
Minimal drilling is required for fibre installation to the premise to allow fibre cable entrance into the house. Internal concealed wiring will not be carried out by TM. However, customers can arrange their own or choose from TM’s authorised list of contractors at their own expense. TM shall propose the recommended list of contractor for the concealed wiring (wall or ceiling). As this is beyond the job scope of RNO, customer will deal and make payment directly to the contractor. Operationally, reappointment is to be arranged when the conceal wiring is completed. Customer is required to inform TM for installation appointment.

Premise currently under renovation
During installation day, TM will not proceed if the customer premise is under renovation unless insist by customer, TM will charge customer accordingly if request for other appointment time. Customers who are having their home renovated are advised to inform TM prior setting service installation appointment. TM shall not be responsible for any damages resulted from construction and renovation done by customer through third party during or after the installation.

Customer Unreachable and Change of Appointment
Premise inaccessibility or deferment of installation appointment upon the installation team’s arrival at a customer’s premise will be subject to a charge of RM100. Re-appointment will be subject to time slot availability.

High-Rise VDSL & FTTH
For high-rise (condos, apartment, office building) ,TM would require to access the MDF/SDF room to physically activate the port which normally locked by the Building Management/Maintenance. Therefore, customers are required to communicate and make arrangement with your Building Management/Maintenance Office to ensure someone is available to grant the access to TM UniFi Installer to MDF/SDF room during the installation time. Without the access to MDF/SDF room, installation cannot be performed and TM has to revisit which will incur unnecessary cost to customer.
In the case of copper wired building that uses VDSL2 technology, successful delivery of UniFi services is subject to technical testing. TM has the right to cancel the order should the building copper wire is deemed as not passing the technical test or not ready to deliver the service.

From making an appointment to the signing-off of the Service Acceptance Form, here is a complete step-by-step process of how we bring UniFi into your home or office:

Step 1: Appointment

Appointment is made at the point of registration. You may choose your preferred date and time for UniFi installation but please note that installation for FTTx (Fibre to the Home or Office) is expected to take between 4-8 hours, and for VDSL2, 2-3 hours.

24 hours prior to the agreed installation date and time, the TM UniFi Centre will call you for a final confirmation. Our UniFi technician will also call you just before he goes to the agreed address of installation.

Step 2: Site Assessment

Upon arrival at your home or office, our technician will brief you on the step-by-step process of the entire installation. This includes:

(i) Site assessessment (outdoor and indoor)
(ii) Cable entrance (drilling point for FTTx)
(iii) Equipment termination point
(iv) Route of wiring

In the case of FTTx installation, our technician will determine the location of the Fibre Distribution Point (FDP), whether it is located on an overhead pole, or underground. If the underground fibre access is blocked due to any home or office renovation, it may require a longer installation period than for overhead fibre access installation.

For VDSL2, site assessment is much quicker since our technician need only access the building’s MDF room and perform the necessary cabling there.
Note: VDSL2 - your existing Streamyx or Business Broadband access will be disabled during this exercise.

Step 3: Installation

It's time to complete the installation process. As part of this process, some minimal drilling may be required. After laying the cables we will determine which modem is suitable for your home. Indoor installation requires more time as our technician needs to lay the internal fibre optic cable. Cables of sufficient length will be provided. However, in cases where additional cable lengths are required, some minimal charges will be incurred. To prevent unsightly wiring, wires and cables will be housed in proper casings.

However, if you wish it to be a drill-free installation, and if the fibre optic cables are required to be pulled through your home or office ceiling, we have a panel of contractors that you can work with, the costs of which will be borne by you.

VDSL2 does not require drilling since UniFi connection will come from the existing phone jack in your home or office. For this premise type, indoor installation requires minimal setup time.

Step 4: Equipment Setup

After laying all the cables, it’s time to connect the equipment. Our technician will first set up the BTU followed by Premise Gateway, Set-top-Box (for Residential package only) and DECT Phone. Once the equipment is tested and works properly, our technician will then show you that all the services are in working order.

Step 5: Completion

You are required to sign-off a Service Acceptance Form (SAF) as part of the process to complete the installation work. For a complete understanding of what TM UniFi service is, please read the terms and conditions in your service agreement.

GENERAL WI-FI INFORMATION AND SUITABLE TURBO SPEED ROUTER & USB RECEIVER GUIDE by SilentVampire

If your speed have been turboed, your new plans will be as detailed below, depending on your original plans before you were turboed:

1) 800Mbps download = 200Mbps upload (original plan - 100Mbps, 50Mbps)

2) 500Mbps download = 100Mbps upload (original plan - 50Mbps, 20Mbps)

3) 300Mbps download = 50Mbps upload (original plan - 30Mbps, 10Mbps)

4) 100Mbps download = 50Mbps upload (original plan - 10Mbps, 5Mbps)

As there have been similar questions that are constantly being asked here about Wi-Fi issues in the context of TM, this is a quick guide for those who are not familiar with wireless networking and how they work. Before I start explaining further, I will first start with the most basic equipment that are provided in a typical FTTH installation for Unifi. You will be provided with a BTU, router, and a DECT phone, and a UnifiTV STB (only if you subscribe to the relevant plans where the STB are provided), in the initial installation.

The BTU or Broadband Termination Unit is a terminating unit from the Access Network (TM Exchange) into a customer's premise. This unit functions like a modem and translates the pulses of light that carry data over the fibre optic cables into electrical signals. The BTU can be categorized as either fit for FE or Fast Ethernet use (10 / 100 Mbps), or Gigabit use (10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps). For the turbo speed use, you would want a BTU that can support the gigabit speeds which are the AN5506-04-BG, Huawei HG8240 variant, or the Nokia G-240G variant, or the Alcatel Lucent I-240-G. Anything else will NOT be able to support the turbo speeds.

The router that is provided by TM for recent installations is usually TP-Link C1200 v1 (Pic), or D-Link DIR-850L (Pic), and more recently for new installations, the D-Link DIR-842 (Pic). All these router will be able to support gigabit speed (up to 1000Mbps) via WIRED connection ONLY. I highly recommend getting CAT6 cables or at a minimum, CAT5e cables, as both support gigabit speeds. Dintek or Prolink or AMP Netconnect or Ugreen RJ45 cables are quite reliable and is 100% confirmed to have original CAT5E or CAT6 rating. Wireless speeds will vary according to real-life environment and other factors.

If you are on VDSL, you will be provided with the ZTE ZXHN H267A (Pic) or the TP-Link Archer VR1200v for new installations recently (Pic).

The UnifiTV STB or Set-Top Box (provided only on the relevant Unifi plans) is a standard small white Android box (Pic).

Just a disclaimer, the TP-Link C1200 v1 (Pic) have MANY issues, including firmware and hardware problems, so if there are any issues with the connection and if you have this router, try changing to another router and see if your problem can be resolved. If it is resolved, then it is this particular router's issue.

For those that have been on Unifi since a long time ago, you might still be using an older router, which is either the D-Link DIR-615 (Pic) or the D-Link L7-N-R2000 (Pic), or one of the older TM generic router which are the RG-Innatech-RGX4400 (Pic), or the RG-Innatech-RG4332 (Pic), or the RG-Maritime-TRG212M (Pic), or the RG-DLINK-WBR2300 (Pic), or something older that I am unaware of. Among the older routers, the RG-Innatech-RGX4400 is the best among the lot, but still unacceptable for current modern use, as there are more newer and better options currently in the market.

If you are still using one of the six older routers above or any other older router from TM or one that you bought yourself a long time ago, which is not optimal for use in this era of gigabit speed, and you are having issues with your wired or wireless connection, it is highly recommended that you change to another modern router, and this will solve most Wi-Fi issues that you are currently experiencing, such as frequent disconnections and low speed. Refer to the list below for suitable routers.

Wi-Fi uses the IEEE802.11 family of standards. Within the 802.11 standards, are various substandards, including 802.11b (2.4GHz spectrum), 802.11a (5GHz spectrum), 802.11g (2.4GHz spectrum), 802.11n (2.4GHz spectrum and/or the 5GHz spectrum), and the 802.11ac (5GHz spectrum).

As you can see above, there are two different bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz. The primary differences between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless frequencies are range and bandwidth.

2.4 GHz offers coverage for further distances, but may perform at slower speeds. Use 20MHz channels in the 2.4 GHz band. Using 40MHz channels in the 2.4G Hz band can cause performance and reliability issues with your network, especially in the presence of other Wi-Fi networks and other 2.4 GHz devices. A 40MHz channel on 2.4GHz might also cause interference and issues with other devices that use this band, such as Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, and neighboring Wi-Fi networks.

5 GHz provides faster data rates at a shorter distance. For best performance and reliability, enable support for all channel widths on 5 GHz. This allows devices to use the largest width they support, which results in optimal performance and compatibility.

Range : how far your data can travel. In most cases, the higher the frequency of a wireless signal, the shorter its range.

The biggest reason for this is that higher frequency signals cannot penetrate solid objects like walls and floors as well as lower frequency signals. Thus, the 2.4 GHz has a farther range than the 5 GHz frequency.

Bandwidth (speed): Higher bandwidth means that files will download and upload faster, and high-bandwidth applications such as streaming video will perform much smoother and faster.

Higher frequencies allow faster transmission of data, also known as bandwidth. Therefore, the 5GHz with its higher bandwidth will provide much faster data connections than 2.4 GHz.

Suggestions for choosing the best frequency:

Many devices only use the 2.4 GHz frequency, and these devices are all attempting to use the same “radio space” which can cause overcrowding of the channels.

So, which should you choose, 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz?

• If faster speeds are most important to you, 5 GHz is usually a better choice than 2.4 GHz.

• If the wireless range is more important to you, 2.4 GHz is usually a better choice than 5 GHz.

• If you have a lot of devices that use 2.4 GHz and you are experiencing interference or intermittent connectivity issues i.e. low connection speed and frequent disconnections, then 5 GHz is probably a better option.

To enjoy the maximum achievable speed on WIRELESS connection, you NEED to be connected to the 5GHz AC band AND have a suitable router AND a suitable USB Wi-Fi adapter. Your USB wireless adapter needs to be connected to USB3.0 for the best speed achievable on 500Mbps and 800Mbps, as USB2.0 max out at 480Mbps but due to bus access constraints, the effective throughput of USB2.0 is limited to 280Mbps, which makes it only suitable for 300Mbps, and USB3.0 can support up to 5Gbps, which makes it suitable for both 500Mbps and 800Mbps.

Your device must also have the right MIMO specification for it to support the turbo speed on Wi-Fi. Refer to soonwai excellent guide on MIMO and Wi-Fi in the context of real-world speed: Click here to see separate thread of his guide.

To enjoy the full turbo speed on WIRED connection, you NEED to be connected to the gigabit router directly via Cat 5e or Cat 6 RJ45 Ethernet cable. Recommended brands that are reliable and 100% confirmed to fit the Cat ratings accurately are Dintek, Prolink, AMP Netconnect, and Ugreen. If your device can support gigabit speed via wired connection, and you are not getting the upgraded turbo speed via wired LAN connection, there are a few reasons why this happens, see below:

1) Due to current pilot phase, TM has not upgraded your current speed to the accurate turbo speed yet.

2) Your cable might be faulty or not up to standard. Try to test with another CAT5e or CAT6 cable. See above for recommended brands.

3) Your BTU does not support gigabit speed, or is wrongly configured, and this is limiting your speed. You have to contact TM for replacement, or configuration to gigabit speed.

4) Your router does not have gigabit LAN ports, or if it does have gigabit LAN ports, it is not configured or correctly set, which limits your connection speed to 100Mbps, instead of 1000Mbps.

5) Although your router does have gigabit ports, and is configured to 1000Mbps, you might still not be able to get the full turbo speed as it might be limited by the hardware of your router. If your router is a basic model with less than ideal hardware, you will not get your ideal full turbo speed.

Actually I bought my own routers, currently running Asus RT-AC66U as main router and Asus RT-N14UHP as Access Point.

But the AC66U seems to be giving some problem as my wifi connection is very unstable, constantly no connection at all, need wait a few seconds for it to work again. I suspect its overheating. Finally its time to let this guy go?

My N14UHP also outdated, not using AC Wifi, can't fully utilize my 300mbps.

Hi guys,

My unifi plan has been upgraded to 500mbps, and then i contacted TM to change my router. So they came this morning and upgraded the router to TP-LINK Archer C1200.

On default, they are using cat5e cable and my BTU is Alcatel Lucent I-240-G. The unifi tv box is also connected to the router. And i setup the router using unifi mode, qos off, nat boost on, with dual band enabled. Checked the router firmware, it is the latest.

Although my new laptop does not have LAN port but it does support 802.11ac (which should be able to reach 500mbps through WiFi).

I understand that the speed of 5ghz will get weak when the device is far away from router. BUT when i test the internet speed while sitting right beside the router, i can only get maximum 280mbps of speed while connecting through 5ghz.

Master sifus, what went wrong on the setup, and how do i reach 500mbps on WiFi.

No need, just call 100, dial 4, bug them, why college students pay rm99 has free call u dont have? If u have time, go to Tmpoint, write a letter, 2 copies, at the bottom, demand for signature of staff attending you to proof that the complain is received, and also leave a field for their internal reference number.

Rmbr, 1st few times, they aint gonna give a damn, show your resolve by refusing to pay, cutoff any autopay stuff. Or better still, to the extent of leezhijiang's way of obtaining unifi coverage, print poster... hehe.

i current using is unifi lite 129 for 10mbps and unifi tv , 99+30 tht plan

You screwed up by asking TM to change your router. The TP-Link AC1200 does NOT support 500Mbps on Wifi, as you now know. Look at 1st page, 1st post, green text, for list of compatible routers that support 500Mbps. The TP-Link AC1200 is not one of them, and you should have bought your own rather than asking TM to change for you.

One telemarketer from Maxis Fibre just called me and read out my PJ address and assumed that's my UniFi address, trying to promote me Maxis Fibre.

Then I told him that, it is funny that he is having outdated information as I have relocated it back to Seremban almost 2 years ago. He immediately hung up the call. Wow.

i've tried prolink cat6 and also amp netconnect heads, only 100Mb/s which i suspect is because of the connectors. When buying the AMP Netconnect brand, please check properly as many sellers are selling variants that only sync at 100Mb/s without giving much information about the cable or even the connector.

Ugreen is pricier but also better.

Only if he has an alternative option at his place then only can consider not to be "jailed". For my place (JB), there is no other choice, so jail or not is not actually relevant.

But he is now paying the same for 30mbps. Upgrade to 100mbps with same price - free speed upgrade, why not?

RM129 already include the useless TV plan, it is actually RM99 + RM30 stated in the bill. Please try to talk to another TM Point guy/lady. The RM129 package should be nett nett, no more extra charges.

You are now "upgrading" from 30mbps to 100mbps, so should be able to direct upgrade. Worth a trip to TM Point to get the 70mbps upgrade. But they may add 2 years contract to your existing half year instead of recounting the 2 years from now. But only relevant if you have another alternative ISP to choose from. Else, 2.5 years or 2 years doesn't really matter.

What channels does the RM129 unifi tv package include?

I think mine is standard Ruby package. I din make any changes from my previous Turbo 800mbps standard package. I am not using the service at all.

Anyone experiencing severe download speed issues with TM Unifi right now?

Area around Melawati right now, and I'm experiencing download speeds of merely 1Mbps whilst upload speeds are unhindered and at 200Mbps. Attached a pic of speedtest right now showing as much.

They still call me on a monthly basis promoting unifi for the address & streamyx service that I terminated many years ago.

Using Android phone to Chromecast on Unifi 100mb line and I am facing alot of issues connect to Netflix app, it will work after several tries. But the strange thing is, i don't face any issues with Youtube app. Its only Netflix giving problem, may i know how to fix this? Thanks

So I've been Turbo'd to 800Mbps, from Unifi 50.

Although my download speed doesn't reflect that:


My setup:

BTU: Huawei-HG8240W
ROUTER: TP-Link Archer C5, firmware updated just now to most recent.
CABLE: CAT5e between BTU and router.
CONNECTION: Wired directly to PC using CAT5e cable.

Shouldn't the router be at least more capable than that? Expecting under 300mbps or whatever this router is capable of.
Anything I am missing?

Please enlighten. HAVE BEEN PAYING RM199 (RM 242.xx TOTAL with HyppTV RM30 and Tax) for the past 2 months with this speed!

netflix needs only 10mbps for HD, 25mbps for 4k.

either chromecast or y r phone issues.

not sure about yr modem but surely NOT the router - this router can do the job.

more likely it's yr PC - do check the specs, cable used... post here - the pc experts can tell u.

also, try to borrow a new laptop, test with cat6 cable, see what results.

Is your PC's network adapter connected ar 1Gigabit? Check...


I use the same Huawei-HG8240W, so assuming it is working properly at 1 Gigabit speeds, I reckon the problem lies with either one or both of your ethernet cables...

Kajang is OK. Download of 5 torrents at 10:30pm on 800Mbps.


Each segment is 6mins in case you want to calculate the size of each torrent.

Disabled IPV6, will do some testing. Just realized that this Archer 1200 from Unifi is not that good after reading so many comments

chances are problems poor results from either yr eqpt or cables.

Thanks for clarifying the router, wasn't sure about it albeit reports it can do 300mbps.

My PC is i7 8700K with Z370 MSI Gaming M5 board.
The Ethernet speed is 1.0Gbps.
That leaves the cable, although CAT5e rated around 1000Mbps.
Will buy CAT6 cables for both the BTU>Router and Router>PC, don't have any in the household, but before that I wait for more answers, simply buying stuff isn't helpful.

Still, I'm keeping an eye on the router because this router (Archer C5 from TM) has a rep especially in this thread for being 'unreliable'. Hope it's not that, I at least want to have full capability of this router's top speed before forking RM600++ for a 1000Mbps router.

Check the connection for BTU <---> Router/Direct PC.
If its not 1Gbps, your BTU was configured to 100Mbps. This you need to call TM to fix it.

My Ethernet network is 1.0Gbps.

Will troubleshoot the cables next. It just strange though, a CAT5e cable performs like a CAT5 (100Mbps and below).

Cat5e is fine. Most will go up to 10Gbps if they're of average quality. I'm sure the ones that comes with TPLink or Huawei products are OK. They're also very short.

This is the most likely scenario, TM hasn't call me, I've only received sms notifying about the Turbo'ed and that's about it.
I want to suspect the cables, but we should have gotten a lot of reports by now because aplenty of people still using the TM provided CAT5e cables. I got dozens unused from them, just now tried most of new cables and still the same result.

Even in kajang for me i cant get 800Mb/s, only 200Mb/s from various things including TM's own internal speed tests. Definitely done the tests you mentioned, i got 100Mb/s from the file server from sg you mentioned even if using 5 links, and its not the cable either.

Even steam sticks to 100Mb/s too.

The suggestion seems like the most probable, TM never called, just an sms notification about the Turbo.
They should've figure out that some of us would need proper update with the hardware and whatnot.

I'll report results after getting them to come over and configure the BTU, I suspect it's not just me with this setback.

Perhaps not enough capacity going into your area? You definitely should be able to max out 800Mbps to TIME's speedtest or to OVH SG.

As for TM's speedtest servers, I think they are overloaded. I get a fluctuating 500-700 from them.

It's quite common. Fruitie had that problem. TM changed her BTU when they couldn't solve it remotely. Another forumer too but his was solved with a "port reset" or whatever it is that TM does. Let them know, I'm sure you'll be at top speed in no time at all.

Use that same cable. And connect it to your Huawei BTU on one end and the other end to your PC and check if its 100Mbps or 1Gbps...

Yes, capped BTU speed. It's quite common and I had the same problem. Lodged a case with TM and replaced mine with the latest Nokia BTU. No more issue after that.

Not likely. TM won't cancel the upgrade now. It does support 500Mbps through LAN, so it is something at least.

Its more to do with sellers not giving info so people think the cable would sync at 1Gb/s, when i look at other sellers and questions closely i then find out stuff like the connector only rated for cat5 rather than cat5e or cat6.

Other than Ugreen, i suggest going with cat6 at least when buying fully made cables as many of them over hype their rating, so a cat6 could actually just be cat5e instead, its widespread in the industry. Have to look very closely at the seller, description and Q&A not the reviews to ensure that the entire cable will sync at 1Gb/s. Have to look at various other sellers, even google search at times. The brands you mention do make good cables/connectors but they also do make crappy ones too and there are sellers that dont give any info, so have to becareful.

I just got new AMP Netconnect connectors that are supposedly rated for cat6, so i will be testing it with prolink cat6 cable. I did check the prolink cable with digital calipers, but its more towards 24 AWG then the reported 23 AWG of conductor.

The cost for a cat6 cable of CCA should be less than rm 2 per meter (including the connector and shroud) that would fulfill 10Gb/s on short distance. I have no SFP+ ethernet connectors so i cant test that, but should sync at 1Gb/s if you were to purchase a whole spool of cables, heads and shrouds if you have to wire a lot of stuff and are willing to do it yourself. Even the toolset costs around rm 30, just have to remember to push in as much of the shielding as you can and that shielded cables are unnecessary. For permanent installs though the cables should be full copper which would cost more but would hold up better. CCA is actually better if you have to keep the cables portable. It doesnt really matter what conductor is used as long as it keeps to the ethernet standards

from the above quote quoting you in regards to speeds, here are the actual encoding standards used.

720p - 2-4Mb/s
1080p - 4-12Mb/s
4k- 20-80Mb/s

Every provider will encode at different rate but these are the usual rates. 720p is actually the start of HD and hypptv encodes 1080p at 8Mb/s

4k can even go up to 100+Mb/s but thats rare. Even for blu ray you can run into bandwidth issues from usb2 if you are using a blu ray usb2 reader and thats 400Mb/s. Its really highly dependent on format as well but online providers like to save bandwidth so they will use a format and setting that uses less bandwidth but to keep as much quality as possible, the downside is that it requires more CPU power to encode/decode. Blu ray discs use CPU friendlier settings so they need more bandwidth but also add a lot more information to the video as well.

the tplink AC1200 is actually decent as a router but i only use it as wifi AP. I have tested it as a router (when they come and install), but i expect basic functionality to work (IPV4, no ipv6, using google DNS and configuring around in it), usually tplink does work well but with openWRT highly dependent on hardware version. Dlink however is the worse one, both their adapters and routers, the quality of both the hardware and firmware are questionable in so many ways that i dont want to get into it. @SilentVampire you should take note of this. Part of the reason i do not recommend dlink is that its so vulnerable that its likely your router will be a part of a zombie network that not only will attack other PCs but also could spy on you as well. This is the reason why i always recommend against any dlink product, especially their IP Cams, they make such horrible mistakes that ruin your security and privacy. They even gave away their firmware keys too.

With tplink i dont expect their more advanced features to work well but most of what the stock firmware provides usually works.

I agree. Buying Cat 6 is better than 5e, as lots of Cat 5e is rated for Cat 5 actually, as you say. Price of Cat 6 is also comparable to 5e and it is better to buy Cat 6, over 5e anytime. That is why I recommend Cat 6 over Cat 5e anytime, and you don’t really need SFP+ to test, instead just get Cat 6 from a reliable seller, and you should be fine. 10Gb/s is just overkill for now.

just checked, cant trust AMP Netconnect, only syncs at 100Mb/s even after verifying the connector is for cat6/ca6a cables.

Thinking of downgrading from 500mb plan to 100mb plan. Talked to customer service over the phone and she told me that internet will be down to 3 days if downgrade. Got such thing or scare tactics?

That day the TM customer service told me that if i change to the RM129 100mbps plan, there will be no Unifi TV service, where I can only watch the channels using Unifi TV app, and cant access them using the TV box. Is that true?
