Hey thanks for your reply. My current Unifi plan is VIP 10. I'm living at highrise, using VDSL2.

I applied for TM turbo upgrade (100Mbps) twice. First time was at TMPoint Kepong, I filled up the blue form to request for upgrade, everything is done over the counter. They told me to restart modem on that evening itself (28/1/2019) and I should get around 30Mbps. I did as per instruction, but not OK, the speed is still 10Mbps.

I suspect it is modem and router can't support the 100Mbps, so I requested for upgrade again. Just today, a TM technician changed my modem& router. Everything is OK, even the TM technician confirmed that this modem&router can support up to 100Mbps.

But the Unifi plan is still at VIP 10 (I checked via my account @ unifi.com.my.  I don't know why they still haven't upgrade for me even after installation of modem&router. The TM technician also didn't know what to do at that moment, so he asked me to call 100.

So I called 100 (option 4) to query. After verification of my account, they asked me bunch of questions on the terms and conditions whereby I need to agree (setuju) to them, and I did. Afterwards, the person just ended the call.

What now?? I don't get it. Why a simple turbo upgrade needs me to wait.. I just need to switch that plan to 100Mbps and get the TV Box, that's all I need...

for those who live high rise building with only vdsl connection, and you are  not able to subscribe more then 30mbps package.

You may walk in to TM Point asking for Unifi Package for non Fiber.

30mbps + UnifiTV aneka = RM 119

or

30mbps + unifiTV free = RM89

This is for my case living in high rise with only vdsl available since i not able to choose 100mbps package.

I need some advice on why the white HyppTV STB suddenly cannot get the IP address. Other devices have no issues to connect to the internet. Attached are some screenshots on the STB network tests.

The WIFI is ON and LAN is connected to port 4 on the D-LINK (Model Name: DIR-842) router. I tried an old STB from Streamyx days and it can get the IP but had issues on configuring the username/password. TM says need to rebind so cannot use the old STB. I have restarted all devices. TM want to charge Rm53 for sending someone over.

Anything I can do for this STB to get the IP address ? Thank you.

You can only find it if you go into the list of apps by TM, the app isn't fully ready yet but it works ok for now. It works for unifi mobile postpaid too.

hey guys, did you guys notice Unifi still throttling mp4 streaming and downloading?

I have been getting throttled especially at night when streaming mp4s since years ago, but didnt care cos I'm not avid stream watcher, until now.

I used ExpressVPN and still doesn't seem to get past this Unifi throttle.... any idea how to circumvent it?
