Recently got upgraded to 800mbps but even with gigabit router unable to reach even 500mbps. Complained to TM but they only said will send someone over to check after CNY. Anyone got any ideas or similar issue? Tried two Routers: Asus RT-AC55UHP Unifi TP-LINK Archer C1200 https://imgur.com/a/obKb0xSThis post has been edited by yoongjun: Feb 2 2019, 02:26 PM

QUOTE(soonwai @ Feb 2 2019, 03:05 PM) C1200 no problem with 800Mbps on GbE lan. The Asus probably also. How you testing? PC fast enough? Make sure the other end also fast enough. Direct lan from PC to router, not using any splitter. By PC fast enough I would assume you mean motherboard ethernet supports gigabit? If so yes. I also tried with different Lan Cable still unable to achieve 800mbps, getting maximum around 350~

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Feb 2 2019, 07:02 PM) yoongjunMeltdown and Spectre aside, he is using Asus RT-AC55UHP. Didn't there was ASUS beta firmware to enable NAT Acceleration (Cut through forwarding) when VLAN tagging is active? Aik? Seem like the beta firmware link had been deleted by ASUS? Luckily I got save the beta firmware for AC55UHP....... Mirror here https://www84.zippyshare.com/d/vjGgOFKS/299...85-gcf7cbc8.trx I tried installing the firmware and it seems to help and I did not touch any settings. Do let me know if I need to configure anything but managed to get constant 550mbps now, although package is 800mbps. Also tried checking router cpu core, it hits about 75-80% when I am running the speed test. This post has been edited by yoongjun: Feb 2 2019, 07:34 PM

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Feb 2 2019, 07:38 PM) Oh? Good, seem like your NAT Acceleration is finally working if you can get 550Mbps now. As for getting 800Mbps.......tell me your windows 10 version (1709, 1803 or 1809?) and CPU model.......as well as your antivirus+firewall..... Thank you very much for the assistance Specs below:- CPU - i7-8700k Windows - Windows 10 (1809-2) Antivirus - Bitdefender but deactivated Firewall - turned off This post has been edited by yoongjun: Feb 2 2019, 07:41 PM
