Anyone facing slow connection around 7pm and on next morning speed drops until 10 to 20 mbps only. Sometime LOS light blinking red on modem in early morning around 6am. Been experiencing this since last Saturday consistently until this morning.

So far TM still has no idea what went wrong. If no issue my speed is 800 mbps.

If I remove all will be RM 69 only. rolleyes.gif
More like only you read wrongly. I did mention from the beginning I wanted to remove one. rolleyes.gif

If I get RM 69 only, people here will jump.

I opened a case with SKMM on this and they said its under KPDNKK.

Currently I am liaising with KPDNKK for my complaint of Telekom forcing us to subscribe Unifi TV if we are to take Unifi Broadband.

You may try to email all the following officers and keep all of them in the loop:

rizalazmi@kpdnhep.gov.my
ahmad.fauzi@kpdnhep.gov.my
azman@kpdnhep.gov.my

Thank you!

I am paying RM189 for 800mbps (unlimited call to TM numbers + FORCED to subscribe to Unifi TV at RM30), hope Maxis can come out with much competitive price to offer existing customer on turbo upgrade smile.gif

My main usage is Netflix and was very satisfied with my Unifi 100Mbps for the past 10 months since installed.

But, for the past 1 month, TM decided to throttle my Netflix streaming at night and the quality fluctuate between 480p and 720p, occasionnaly get 1080p for few minutes and can forget about 4K on my Sony 4K TV and Apple TV 4K.

When test speed with Fast and Speedtest app, it's always show almost full speed of 100Mbps. Restart router numerous time but each time will only improved for a very short time.

Very frustrating, any advise on this ? I know by reporting this issue to Netflix and TM will only make them blame each other without any solution.

Yea i noticed around 8pm to 10pm usually will have Netflix quality issue, i am guessing is Netflix server overload instead of TM throttle.

I have complained to TM and also SKMM about removing UNIFI TV RM 30 /month. Received reply from TM via SKMM as follows :

UNIFI TV package:-

We wish to reiterate that TM is deploying Fibre optic infrastructure that will enable residents to enjoy a triple-play or three-in-one service of Voice, High-Speed Internet and IPTV (offering a new TV viewing experience). These Unifi services offered to the customer in one package, hence we are unable to provide separate service and fulfil your requirement to remove the HyppTV service itself. Therefore, we are sorry to inform that unifi TV service could not be removed from your unifi 100Mbps plan as it came in one package.

You may refer to the Terms & Conditions as follow:-

Clause 6:

6.5. Subject to availability, TM may provide to Customer with 'Triple Play' activation consisting of Internet, Voice and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and related TM's Equipment together with value-added services which may be provided by TM together with the subscription of the Service. The Customer shall not be entitled to any rebate or reduction of the subscription fee for any part of the Unifi Service that is provided by TM at no charge to the Customer.

We hope the above explanation clarifies on the matter. We wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued patience and understanding as well as extend our appreciation for your continuous support to TM. For further enquiries or feedback, chat with us at unifi.com.my/chat for fast and reliable online assistance. Alternatively, you may tweet us at twitter.com/helpmeunifi or leave your comments at our Facebook page facebook.com/weareunifi. We look forward to serve you better.
Thank you.

It's all BS!

I am in the midst of dealing with TM too in removing Unifi TV which I need to pay RM30 per month as I don't watch it at all!

Refer to https://unifi.com.my/lsds/assets/images/per...Q-Home-plan.pdf , Unifi TV is 12 months min subscription period, so after that we can terminate without any penalty. In this case they don't even let us terminate Unifi TV while still maintaining Unifi Broadband. So you should keep opening the case with TM and SKMM.

Unifi package has been this way from the start. Do you think that most users who don't want UnifiTV would not have removed it if it was allowed instead of paying RM30 per month for so many years?

Also refer to #2 and #12 at the Unifi Home FAQ section of the document..

Yea and the thing is me paying rm189 (800mbps, ruby plus). Its just another typical example of TM non standard pricing where some are enjoying the same package at lower price.. bruce.gif
