Strange....no counter attack from TM against Maxis latest fibre package?

Since my old router is unable to support Turbo speed 300Mbps at both LAN and Wifi (Up to 100Mbps only), I have decided to get a free router replacement by renewing contract with TM.

I did consider to top up money to purchase a better router and might get better performance in Wifi. But as we all know, it is not possible get full Wifi speed 300Mbps in real life, due to signal coverage, distance, network congestion and interference. So I am ok with it as long as the Wifi speed can achieve 100~200Mbps.

May I know which has the best performance among the stock router (TP-Link C1200, D-Link DIR-842, D-Link DIR-850L) provided by TM?

Does rewind, forward, pause in Hypptv Set up box affect Online gaming?

My family like to do that when watching and i find that the game lags when they watch.

Wonder if I downgrade my 500 to 100, will the speed be affected meaning will still be optimise to 100? Currently despite I am on 500mbps, I didn’t get the chance to enjoy it due to the modem TM offered. I am only getting ard 50-80 mbps on 2.4

Any clue?

my unifi package is the 800mbps. based on my researches, my laptop, cables, router, and modem can handle the speed. but speedtests still only show max 95mbps. any idea what could the problem be?

hi guys, i wanted to pay my bill thru the unifi portal, but today i login, there is no payment to be made... usually on the dashboard got one total need pay amount, but its empty.

when i tried to login, the portal did tell me something about digital id password reset. so i reset and login. no bill to pay... i did get the sms and email on monday.

any ideas?

Need to go to TMpoint to sign up? Can I do it via online?

I think TM will take long time to expands... There's only 8 houses on the opposite road (Jalan 5) which are using the Maxis fibre service. But, my house address which is on Jalan 4 is not appear on the list.

Aiyo suddenly router cannot connect to the internet...report live agent they reset port then ok can connect . Same thing happened for the last 3 days, 3 times reset port..technician came to check then informed router kong already. (1year old router)

Change to new router need to renew contract..

No wonder so many missed call from tm telemarketer..never pickup any of their call so maybe this is their attempt to force me to renew contrac by purposely blocking my router connection? (Contract ended last may).

Guys, After going through few post before this, I'm still not decided which cable to go with ? Shall I get a Ugreen Cat6/7 or Dintek Cat6/7.

Just wan some clarification, unifi pole and cables already installed in my housing area. Normally how long it gonna take for activation from TM so that we can apply for unifi?

🤔 very reluctant to renew, because my contract expired June next year.

TM should stop infuriating and provoke their customers by selecting a "handful" of their so called lucky customers and giving them <RM150 800Mbps plan.

Please come out officially and explain to all your customers why are you playing such games with the public.

Else I think these people are just trying to troll the public boasting about their non existent plans to make things worst for TM's marketing.
