As for now, either one of us can be right or wrong. So we wait until January 2020 to know the answer for the RM 139/Rm 199 issue. I will be back again by then.

I made a complaint to MCMC on the grey area for 300mbps plan with paynothing :

In short, for those under 24 months promo rm139 300mbps plan that turbo-ed from 30mbps, please call to double confirm before committing to redeem paynothing. For the record, i live chatted 6 times, 5 times say rm199 after jan2020; through phone 3 times, all said rm199.

For those that under perpetual discount for 300/500/800mbps plan before this paynothing promotion, good for you then. Don't think anything in this YEP can come close to your value unless want to downgrade.

@mylinear, i think my issue is different than the rest as TM called me to offer something else. Please guide wkc5657 for this RM 139/RM 199 issue again. Hope TM call him and offer him RM 139 to keep the issue down

Customer service reply from TM can trust or not? Send complaint to MCMC, TM representative can close MCMC case? IT should be MCMC come back reply to you.

and how come other user with no perpetual discount after apply yep able to upgrade to perpetual discount and get rm 139?

IF maxis and time and tnb give you dedak and provide all the user evidence, will you expose the unifi pricing issue out? They cant do so and need unifi user to execute it first.

The complain kept on provisional close up to 30 days, after that consider fully closed. Can open back anytime within the 30 days.

I think this 300M issue has been discussed for 2-3 weeks now. Just have to look back on old posts. Most 300M users here would have followed the discussion. Its up to each one to make their own decision. Some have posted their discount converted to perpetual. I guess there will be many 300M users who will complain to TM if the price in Jan is not what they expected.

No one here has a concrete answer. Just best guesses and opinions based on info we have. I don't think there has been misinformation from users on the 300M issue. Just difference of opinions.

To RM139 300M users.

I am not a 300M user so I cannot do this myself. So, may I make a suggestion.

Before you did YEP, some got answers saying that the RM139 will only last till the discount runs out in next few months. Then back to RM199.

If they were saying this based on your OLD account info at that time showing the 24 months discount, let's see if you still get the same answer now after YEP and your account info has been updated.

If they can only see NEW account info (without discount) the answer should be different now. This means they don't have access to OLD account info. They should give RM139 answer.

If they still give the same RM199 answer, then they are somehow still looking at OLD account info with discount as well. Or it really is going to be RM199.

So, if you have done YEP, and the 24 months now shows as perpetual...

Please contact CS and ask:

Note: No need to say about what it was before YEP etc. Just ask about current package and price.

1. What is my new contract date (from - to)?

2. What is the price for my 300Mbps package now?

3. Will this price be the same after YEP from Jan 2020 onwards until my new contract ends?

4. Any other helpful questions.

Optionally, (not sure if CS will know this)
If you have got latest bill which shows eg RM199 - 199 discount = RM0, then you can also ask what will it be in Jan. Let's see whether they say RM199 - new discount.

Perhaps if a few of you who have done YEP get the same answer, it could be a better indicator of what the actual process is supposed to be like. This may help the other 300M users to decide on what to do with YEP.
Of course, CS could still tell wrong things... but no harm trying...
