I made a complaint to MCMC on the grey area for 300mbps plan with paynothing :
The reply :
In short, for those under 24 months promo rm139 300mbps plan that turbo-ed from 30mbps, please call to double confirm before committing to redeem paynothing. For the record, i live chatted 6 times, 5 times say rm199 after jan2020; through phone 3 times, all said rm199. For those that under perpetual discount for 300/500/800mbps plan before this paynothing promotion, good for you then. Don't think anything in this YEP can come close to your value unless want to downgrade.

Most 300M users here would have followed the discussion. Its up to each one to make their own decision. Some have posted their discount converted to perpetual. To RM139 300M users.
I am not a 300M user so I cannot do this myself. So, may I make a suggestion.
Before you did YEP, some got answers saying that the RM139 will only last till the discount runs out in next few months. Then back to RM199.
If they were saying this based on your OLD account info at that time showing the 24 months discount, let's see if you still get the same answer now after YEP and your account info has been updated.
If they can only see NEW account info (without discount) the answer should be different now. This means they don't have access to OLD account info. They should give RM139 answer.
If they still give the same RM199 answer, then they are somehow still looking at OLD account info with discount as well. Or it really is going to be RM199.
So, if you have done YEP, and the 24 months now shows as perpetual...
Please contact CS and ask:
Note: No need to say about what it was before YEP etc. Just ask about current package and price.
1. What is my new contract date (from - to)?
2. What is the price for my 300Mbps package now?
3. Will this price be the same after YEP from Jan 2020 onwards until my new contract ends?
4. Any other helpful questions.
Optionally, (not sure if CS will know this) If you have got latest bill which shows eg RM199 - 199 discount = RM0, then you can also ask what will it be in Jan. Let's see whether they say RM199 - new discount.
Perhaps if a few of you who have done YEP get the same answer, it could be a better indicator of what the actual process is supposed to be like. This may help the other 300M users to decide on what to do with YEP. Of course, CS could still tell wrong things... but no harm trying...
