Download what from where and how? Yesterday I had downloads which fluctuated from 800 to 400 to 500 to 200 Mbps.

Yeah something like that. Turned off IPv6 for him. Adjusted his wifi settings yet it still has issues. So just helped him called TM to check the port and line which is to be fixed today. Wonder what's the issue as well.

May I ask who is paying less than RM220 for their 800Mbps unifi? I heard some can get it at RM179 or RM159. Do correct me if I'm wrong

Update: They're making a report to be sent to the respective team. Hopefully will get the discount to RM189. It is going to be a interesting conversation with live chat and doing it for my friend. sweat.gif

I see... Should have said RM159 instead of RM189 rclxms.gif Oh well, the report has been made. It'll be updated in a few days time. Dang, My home unifi for 100Mbps is RM99 and you're getting 500Mbps for RM99 is really a big discount. If I'm not mistaken, the price is around RM104.95 including SST?

Hello,

I was wondering is there a v3 firmware that i can use for the new TP-LINK AC1200. The hardware version v3.01. I find it interesting that they brought back it with a newer hardware version.

Refer to TP-Link official website and the product page for the TP-Link AC1200. I got that during installation recently for my other house as well, but not going to use it.
*
Why? I was planning to flash it to V3 firmware but not sure whether is it worth it.. sweat.gif It seems better than the V1 hardware so why not? It's still a decent access point.

It is good, yes, but I prefer to use my own as I like control over my own router, if you know what I mean. I will probably flash the firmware from TP-Link website and see if it can be used as an AP. If I brick it, no worries lol.
*
Nvm, after a few days, I opened up the inside and found out it's using V1 hardware. But the network Switch seems different a little or i think it's the same? Now upgraded using the latest EU firmware. CPU seems very good and usage at 27%. With the 5Ghz beamformin on the router, I'm quite impressed with the performance but not sure it's capable for 300Mbps since some people using the same router throttled at 223Mbps for download. Well, it's an interesting discovery for me hehe.

and this year will be the last year to feel rm99. hahah
*
You mean the price you pay will revert to RM129 after contract ends? TM told me mine will be fixed at RM99 even after contract ends. How comes yours will change? I'm using the same package as you.

Turboed 100Mbps + Hypptv(mobile) + call

Registered in 2018.

yup, will revert to RM129 after 2 years done. I read the tnc.

Hopefully they revert the tnc. so, fix RM99.
*
It should be fixed. TMpoint Batu Lintang told me themselves that they said the price is fixed for RM99 for 100Mbps. Well, hope that you get the same condition as well.

It's no longer available but need University Student ID? You can try if they still offer at TMpoint but it'll be under his name.

This week my neigbbor install 100mbps and given tplink ac1200. I read first page it stated a lot issue with the router version 1. Is there version 2 now?
*
The technician said it was hardware version 3.01. However when i opened it, it's actually hardware version 1.0 but with some minor changes such as the network switch chip. Their firmware is the latest TP-LINK Malaysia Unifi firmware. I also changed it from the D-Link DIR-842 hardware version C2. I prefer that one and has bigger wifi coverage. I been using it for a week and no reboot issue compared to the first version TP-LINK from TM. Overall, this new one is already stable so yeah it's good. biggrin.gif Refer to my post.

Best to complain to TM now as they say no one reported yet.

Update:

TM customer service will make internal report. Wow... I thought this will be technical report but internal is just great TM...

think so too.

from latest offer 300mbps for rm199, i doubt 500 or 800 will be cheaper than previous prices.

800... rm329... think same for everyone...

a matter of discount... 200, 210, 220, 230... becomes 129, 119, 109, 99.

then, for unifi tv, add rm0, 30, 60... = 259, 189, 99... anything goes...

anyone getting rm99?!

unfi people having fun with prices, so should we! laugh.gif

Unifi RM69 + RM30 HyppTV & Free 600 Minutes calls = RM99/mth 100Mbps. If only I can remove the hyppTV, It's a total winning for RM69 for home internet for 100Mbps

Just question, Is it possible to remove Unifi PlayTV from your unifi package to reduce monthly bill? Since it cost RM30/month and i heard some managed to get rid of it.
