hmm 1st to post with alot of question. dint knw where to post therefore i post here and few other thread.
Hi, i'm 19years old and weight 97.9kg and my height 183cm. I just started gym session few weeks ago. I just started to look forward to improve myself in my weight as in lost as much as i can and gain muscle Currently i go to the gym every morning to workout. I use the treadmill as my warm up for around 10min, then i head to those machines to work my muscle out. *i need help here* i dont know how many set i need to do and which machines i should go and play around with. And during the night, i do home gym. Used the dumbell (9kg each side) and do sit up. For dumbell and sit up i do as many set as i could. 1 set = 10. I will rest 30sec in between for sit up. As for my diet, i seldom take in food which is heavy in fat or sugar, i can say in a week i take in 2 to 4 times. Here are my current in take of food. Breakfast - A cup of milo with oats / 2 half boil egg (2 egg white and 1 york) with bread / ta pau food from the market. Lunch - Noodle Soup/ Economi rice Tea - Sometime just take biscuits or even cereal with low fat milk. Dinner - Normal dinner meals with family I know my diet plan is very screw up, i really need help and advise to improve my workout plan and even my diet plan for me to get a healthy life and a health and nice body! I've been to three commercial gyms: CF, FF and True Fitness. I have had plesant encounters with CF and FF (there were some arses, but the good outweigh the bad). The worst is True Fitness. Bunch of dicks who think they're the man (!) when they've got flamingo legs.
And, yes, FF sucks for NOT having ANY decline benches in their branches. Sucks mad this. |

i was doing the trial at celeb fitness in 1U and there's this trainer who always hangs around this hot chick. Every single day for the days i am there. And he is obviously not having a coaching session...cause it's like 2 hours sometimes. then sometimes he will say in a knowledgable voice that she's doing xxx wrong, should do yyy sad thing is...i think she looks more fit than him...lol |

im gonna bulk for 20 days or so...
since im on holidays.. starting on the 1st of may... soo now trying to force feed myself with food every two hours... and will buy a mass gainer...just to get those extra calories when i cant get proper food or anytime... anyone willing to train me for a week or so? and anything that i need to add to this??? any tips from the regulars? |

but just trying to set a target so i can keep on the goal you see.. been trying to gain mass for the pass year actually.. so yeahhh..just a target date haha... i know its not good possible to pack on lean muscle on a short period and stay lean.. i've done some reading.. but im sure its never enough. this is why i need you guys to help me point out the wrong parts.. |

i think at least 2-3 months for some changes. 20 days u might pack on 1-2kg or so. |

we only can get up to 0.5kg of muscle in a month or so... or was it a week haha... correct me please... so yeahh... im 63-64kg now.. targeting 1kg per month is a good target right?? so i dont pack on tooo much fats... |

I was doing squats and leg extensions all the while for my leg routine. In the last couple of weeks I added leg presses into my routine since I leeched my way into commercial gyms. They really gave good effects and brought out the lacking parts more. Only thing is I'll cramp very easily for the rest of the day. I don't think my poundages are heavy as I go for volume work. For main sets, my squat is 100kg, leg press 160kg (total 8 plates right?), and leg extension around 130-160lbs only.

Yea my quads cramp up. Its not because of no proper warmup or stretching. It only happens after my workout. Probably due to fatigue. I hit calves on a separate day as quads and hams so its ok for me.

give it a good stretch la every now and then after u do ur quads. maybe it'll helps, it feels good too to let the blood all flows in. i hate going up and down the staircase after leg day... sigh. i have a question guys, i'm a beginner. and i been doing full body training on alternate day for 3 month plus. but my right thigh is having this weird numbness after one of my leg press workout.
the numbness continue for days, and i have to go to clinic, and doctor said is normal sport injury. I wonder did that mean i'm not suppose to do leg press anymore?? or i shudnt work too hard on leg press?? i do 8 set of 15 rep. in 30 kg or lbs, not remember what is the number on the machine indicate.. |

the numbness occur during the leg press, i tok my muscle is tired or something.. so i carry on doing it.. and it last for week.. doctor i went to prescribe me with vit B complex somehow. now the numbness is gone, only tingling on the thigh once in a while when i walk.
i'm not sure if i can do leg press again, so i'm doing leg extension now.. |

lost the sense of feeling on your leg??? hips?? knee??? like u pinch your hips and it doesnt hurt?? it feels more numb especially if you go up and down staircase??? |

F**k leg day. NO got my heart pumping so fast I got so freakin dizzy during squats. Leg Presses and extensions were a breeze after that though. Met Dan though, decently sized guy with good form haha. Was so out of breath and head was spinning when I said hi lol.

if gripping is the problem, use straps. it really makes a lot of difference. coz, most of the time, ur grip wear u out 1st. eg. lifting 50kg without straps, but u can do the same reps with 70kg perhaps with straps. guys, need your opinion. there's this power bar..well my fren just gave me for a try out. it's for before workout. it says ere, take it 15 minutes before workout. what it does is that it naturally blocks the energy sapping effect of andenosine, muscles use less sugar and more stored fat for energy, gives longer endurance. this product is called access. regardless what brand it is, can we actually trust such things? appreciate your feedback guys!

Just back from training at Average Joe's. Talked to some big malay guy there who's gonna compete for Mr KL. Asked me to just join haha maybe grab bakat baru. Anyway its nice to see guys from all races and sizes staring at the small tv cheering on for Malaysia badminton players lol.

Most of the time I'm on Lorazepam.I was hooked on dormicum before when i was young and its bad. i know how it feels, i mean insomnia, just lay down on ur bed, eyes close, but your brains is projecting alot of nonsense that doesnt help u to go to sleep. its funny how sometimes fork, spoon and even microwave come out popping one by one like you're browsing home kitchen's catalog. |

The Smith machine is like my savior. Ever since I started squatting with it, I don't have any extra pain (not more than the normal amount of pain, anyway) in my lower back the next couple of days. And it hits my quads so much better.

i guess what i did at night were more than evening one time a weej full body workout can maintain ah ? my body not that big la.. spm near mahh i do workout almost everyday , switch chest and arm alternate day . chest i do pec fly , chest press , incline dumbbell, diamond pushup and military push up . all using dumbbell . bicep i do 45,90,180 degree curl . i notice change in 2 weeks . coz the ribcage wasnt visible now .
