QUOTE(John91 @ Apr 29 2010, 01:17 PM)
I was doing squats and leg extensions all the while for my leg routine. In the last couple of weeks I added leg presses into my routine since I leeched my way into commercial gyms. They really gave good effects and brought out the lacking parts more. Only thing is I'll cramp very easily for the rest of the day. I don't think my poundages are heavy as I go for volume work. For main sets, my squat is 100kg, leg press 160kg (total 8 plates right?), and leg extension around 130-160lbs only.
*
John,u seriously just do squats and leg extensions?
tell me, how manye reps and sets u go?i'm having some problems in gettin a lil bit of cutting at the leg part..but people say my legs are kinda huge and mampat..dats what they say..how do i get that sort of look?any ideas?

icic..thanks john..maybe i'd try dat for today..
currently on cutting..just wanna try myself cutting in d next 2 months if god willing...but i go like 4 sets with 10 reps each..my legs are my weakest link..i think i'm kinda weak for squats..only 160lb my max..as for leg extension, last i did was like 35kgs i think..and leg press, 120kgs..still i don't get nice well develop legs..and i get cramp quite easily especially when i'm on a tournament..eventhough i train 3 days earlier..must be slow recovery or lack of nutritions..

Eat more bananas. Seriously it helps. Everytime I cramp I eat 2 bananas, after 5 minutes no more already. Lack of potassium.
*

guys, need your opinion. there's this power bar..well my fren just gave me for a try out. it's for before workout. it says ere, take it 15 minutes before workout. what it does is that it naturally blocks the energy sapping effect of andenosine, muscles use less sugar and more stored fat for energy, gives longer endurance. this product is called access. regardless what brand it is, can we actually trust such things? appreciate your feedback guys!

Reply you with a question. Ever seen any IFBB Pro training videos go lower than 6 reps even on "heavy sets"?

That being said you can try it. No harm in doing so. Just feel that the rep range is pretty low.
*
will definetely try it, but honestly darklight, if i'm not mistaken u didn mentioned rep at least gotta be 10 right?
have u tried this Max OT before?

Reason why i asked is because i use to workout say an hour or so in d gym..so to end up the session like in 30 minutes, i was wondering, can we gain d benefit and feel satisfied?

i've see pro's do with heavy partial reps with low reps..i donno, maybe it ws some gimmick clip or sumting..

i like partial training
and i like high volume training with many sets too

but at times, a lil bit of change doesnt hurt
and i guess it all depends on you
no one can tell you what benefits or loss you might get for whatever routine you might choose to do
but i think 30mins means less sets which in my opinion tak best
Hahahaha
*
that's what i was looking for, kepuasan main besi...
hmm,oh well, guess should ought to try it then..

so, in conclusion, we can just try out everything that's been said by these pros and see what's d effect on our body right?but point is, it all comes down to technique and form right bro which contribute to the results? to be honest, my weight when lifting is still consider well, kinda sissy weights eventhough i've been goin to the gym like almost 2 years.must be something wrong with me..

Too little bro~ not enough

I take around 7-10 eggs consist of 3-4 full eggs and 3-5 whites only per day and that is too little also~

Ken86 takes around 20 if not mistaken per day

Darklight takes 30++ per day

If u are afraid of getting fat or cholesterol, take lesser yolk and more whites. 1 Egg has around 5-6g of protein if not mistaken, so u count for urself how many u want to eat a day.
Natural and solid food always comes first, supplements are supplements after all, the name itself is self-explained. Fix your daily diet with taking more natural food with protein then only take supplement when u are super busy or consuming not enough protein.
*
hmm,i was refering if i take say 6 eggs whole eggs..what do u think?well, i read someone saying actually we should keep the yolk coz it bring out more good than bad stuff..hmm,couldn't remember where i read that.
as for the slow release protein like sntha 6, i ws thinking on takin em before i go to bed..but still looking for other options besides the normal milk.. smile.gif

Lets say 1L of milk costs Rm4.50, gives 34g of protein/L, so 1g of protein would cost Rm0.13.
1 egg costs Rm0.30, gives 6g of protein, so 1g would be RM0.05
ON whey costs RM180 for 2.2kg, so 1g of protein would be RM0.08

That's just some simple calculations. IMO whey isn't THAT expensive considered the convenience it provides.
*
wow, u count till to that extend eh?hmm..nice one.so in a way plus minus it's almost d same la.. hmm.gif
