Well, unless you travel all the time. If spend for the sake of PPL macam not worth pulak.
Unless already planned PPL visits, then can spend accordingly.

i rarely travel.
so if i know i am going to travel, my plan will b :
plan the travel ppl visit date
paying all bills with this VI until the target amount
after back from travel put the card aside

30days before and 30days after basically i can pay the same bill for twice already.
home bill such as unifi,astro , electricity, phone bill etc.
or i can accumulate the bill by not paying for 2 months since they wont charge me interest fees.
this way good for single user.


now my problem is i have 2 sub card so if we 3 go travel and ppl together at the same time....

I will say for the safe sake, if supp card access PPL, supp card shall spent RM500.

How's Ambank World Mastercard better than VI? Lower conversion(exchange) rate? Both of them have the same benefit

Yes, u can enter 3 times with accumulative of RM1500 within the 30 days of ur purchase

rm1500 is 3 times.
but 1 day only can access 1 time.

Referring to your enquiry, if Supplementary cardholder wish for free complimentary access to the lounge, Supplementary cardholder also required to spend using his/her Supplementary card of minimum RM500 within 30 days before and/or 30 days after, for each lounge access.

The spending condition is tracked based on each individual card. Spending made by the principal cardholder will not be taken into account for the supplementary cardholder.

i beg to differ. I think its still good card. No annual fee. Long list of lounges local and overseas. Just need to spend RM500. That's easy for most people with a car, just petrol would surely be more than RM500 in 60 days (pre and post lounge use). Of course if you are frequent flyer than maybe not enough entries. But then, if you are frequent fly, each time charge you card, a return ticket surely more than RM500.

The main sad thing is removal of GM....

even a low profile AEON Big gold card offers GM.

I know it allows accumulated spendings....the problem is the 30 days before and after part....if you trickle spend spread over many days, and at the same time, make many entries, how to you calculate which spending is used to cover which entry?....

if you really want to enter, you will sure do the calculation manually

Agreed with you . Ambank still a good card for me . Easily hit RM 500 for travel by booking flights + hotel .

Petrol spending to accumulate RM500 in 60days is just an example. Not all people will use cashback card for petrol spend anyway.

You can enter lounge every 10 days for spending 500(50/day). I think it doesn't matter as long as you achieve 500 before or after lounge access. Their email reply is clear enough.

Well.... some of the spends "after" will also be "before" of the next entry....

Nevermind... I can think of a simple solution, so I think that's what they will use to calculate....

Ya 500 bucks is easy to achieve but the list of PPL is not enough to cover all the airport. Likely most visited airport is KLIA still.
So probably to enter PPL for both leg is very dependent on where we visit...

It's one card per day....do technically, if you use a different card, you can enter another lounge the same day....or bring another person in the same lounge....

Have done this before....

But I generally try use different bank's cards within the same day, to avoid potential complications....

the new tnc post 1nov17 restricted one entry per day per card holder irrespective number of cards

Update for those eligible for the signature version of the cards....

You need to get a form and fill in the part requesting additional cards....and submit....it will not be automatically given....they will give you the signature cards IN ADDITION to your existing ones!....so they say once you have the new cards you can request to cancel the original ones if you don't want to keep so many cards...

Problem with cs is, they don't always give the right information....

Was told initially "card centre is looking into it, and will upgrade cards"....so I waited....

For the amsignature, suppose to go through RM but then RM is hopeless, ended up escalated to Branch Manager

The rm of my branch also hopeless.. always asking you to generate a investment account and ask you to invest..... end up I’m ignore her and go to branch manage for the wmc and the Islamic card .. off topic I buy UT from branch manager and don’t buy from her since I know who is manage to get sale will have commission .. rather give her to earn my money without service me I’m rather give my money to the branch manager at lest branch manager can serve me well while I’m asking for help

my card aporove on 25/10, sms to my wife…i dont know why sms to my wife said u card approve, then i wait and wait,still not yet receive, two day ago call card centre,said card sent to branch,my card arrive branch on 26/10，but no body call me to collect it…
so i just go to branch get it yesterday.
no like maybank sms on sundays, tuesday branch calk me to collect card already.
