Hi! I hold the Visa Signature and Platinum Mastercard. Would anyone happen to have experience whether monthly insurance premiums charged to Ambank credit cards via direct debit count towards the RM500 needed for free lounge access?

I called Ambank CS and they said it "should" count but they didn't sound 100% sure (odd but there you go) so it would be nice to get some confirmation from someone who knows for sure. If that is indeed the case, it would be excellent since then I don't need to keep track of spending the requisite amount after each lounge access.
