QUOTE(evoce9a @ Feb 22 2018, 04:02 PM) Normally application of credit in Ccris report shows that which credit card you have applied , on which date and credit limit which has been approve in the past 12 months . If you are holding the card for more than 1 year and your application of credit is still in the report , you might need to check with bank or BNM Bro, what is CCRIS report and how to check it ?? |

To all sifu, i have an Ambank True Visa Credit card which gives 3% rebate on online transaction.
My statement date is every 12th day of the month, however, as this is my first ever statement, i still havent received any rebate from my lazada purchases last month? Normally for other bank, i will get the rebate on the statement date (PBB) or 1 day later (CIMB) |

Hey guys, for the cash rebate earned, I understand that it is credited every 19 or 22 day of the month, but is it true the calculation is based on 1st to 31st of every month ? That’s what I’ve been told at least ?
For eg, cash rebate for online purchase made before 31 March, I will get it on 19 April, though my statement is at 12 April. Means to say all the rebate from my online transactions made between 1 April to 12 April is gonna credited next month? That’s really weird as most other CC cash rebate does follow the statement ??? Please advice |

Guys, i am totally disappointed with Ambank Customer Service as they are providing me with contradicting answers.
First, may i ask you guys here (Ambank True Visa Creditcard owner), your 3% cash rebate is based on statement date? or is it based on 1st day to end of the month?? I have been told previously the cash rebate is calculated from 1st to 31st of the month (for eg: 1st may until 31st of may), but just now when i call again on a dispute on my cash rebate received this month, they told me otherwise. I am really unhappy with their unprofessional-ism (mainly due to the contradicting answers i got) as i deem they do not show consistency especially in answering questions from customer. p/s i never had such problem with any other banks |

QUOTE(kawteem @ Jun 20 2018, 01:22 PM) First of all, i am using the Ambank True Visa credit card which gives 3% cashback for online transactions.I have received an update from Ambank confirming that the cash rebate for this particular card will be calculated as per 1st day of the calendar month until the end of that aforementioned calendar month. For eg: if you spent online on the following: 1) RM 30 on 29 April (suppose to get this on last month cash rebate) 2) RM 50 on 1 May (entitle for this month cash rebate) 3) RM 40 on 30 May (entitle for this month cash rebate) 4) RM 100 on 1 June (entitle for next month cash rebate) My dispute arise when the cash rebate amount i received on my May 2018 statement (which i received on 20 June 2018) is showing that i earn the rebate up until my last statement date, as opposed to from 1st May until 31 of May. After almost an hour of complaints, explanation, waiting, clarification, arguments and bla bla bla, the agent named Aideel apologised to me for telling the wrong info (which is the cash rebate shall follow statement cycle). However, he will follow up on the wrong cash rebate amount and will update me again. I shall keep you all informed once i got any confirmation from him. |

QUOTE(kawteem @ Jun 20 2018, 04:04 PM) Thanks for spending time writing. During my call with cs, she explained that any transaction in a particular month must get posted by 21st of that same month, because that is their cutoff date for cb calculation that will be credited the following month. I'm a new true card user and will report in once I my statement is out. Bro, trust me, the next time you call again, they will give you another answer and try to convince you that their answer is correct. Thats what i experienced QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Jun 20 2018, 05:06 PM) should follow calender cycle. They told me it follows the transaction date and not posting date, at least i can confirm for True Visa credit card, not sure other cards though.on the other hand, your spending on 29th april and 30th may, when was the posting date? it MIGHT follow posting date in calculation of the 'calender cycle'. |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Jun 20 2018, 05:39 PM) My May cash rebate (rebate for transactions in April 2018) was calculated based on all the trasactions from 1st APril to 30 April. I counter checked and verified it together with Customer service, thats why i am convinced that the cash rebate is really calculated this way. However, in my latest statement received, and when i calculate it using the above way, i couldnt get what i entitled for. So i call again, and this time the new Customer Service agent named Aideel recalculate and show me how the cash rebate i received this month is calculated. Surprisingly, it is based on statement cycle (the cash rebate from 15 April to 15 May only). I was like See how funny they are? Their system even calculate the cash rebate (they claimed it is automatically calculated by computer) DIFFERENTLY !!! p/s just to let u all know JomPay doesnt count as online transaction |

Ive been calling them for more than a month, still no feedback! I had problem to increase my CL, and been going back and forth with branch for about 2 mths, but at the end also no luck. shot an email to complaint dept, and my CL was increased to the amount I requested in 3 working days. |

QUOTE(lamode @ Jul 25 2018, 01:16 PM) be sure you put the word complaint in subject line and emphasize in the content its for complaint team, elsewhere they may just treat it like normal enquiry and handled by CS. Ive put the "Complaint" word in the subject line, but i address it to Customer service manager |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Aug 4 2018, 11:28 PM) True card CB only 3%... Agree on their lousy service Online shopping only applicable for Lazada, 11steet, Zalora and so on. Those online utility bill payment cannot entitle CB.. Seems like it's time for me to terminate this True... Don't know how they calculate CB.. Swipe so many around 500+ only CB RM1.36... Once get the hsbc card, then straight away terminate. Lousy service.. Spent Rm1000+ on shopee last month and all i got is Rm 0.90 cash rebate Complaint to their complain department, but to me, their service is also as bad as their customer service department. Overall, i would really rate Ambank customer service 4/10, a failure to me! |

QUOTE(mamamia @ Aug 7 2018, 04:27 PM) how they calculated till get RM0.90? i don't recall any other cashback for True Card except 3% for online purchase. seem like their system calculation error, else, if shopee don classified as Online Purhcase, then, it should be NIL cashback I Have no idea. I am totally speechless when they told me it was shopee purchase which did not count as online purchase unless it is paid via ipay88. I told them i pay everything on Shopee official website and nothing is deemed as physical purchase |

Dear all, this is the reply email i sent to Ambank customer care.
Dear Nadia & Dear Rose, I do not know why you will still require me to share the calculations as your colleague and also Ms Rose from One Stop Resolution have already calculated that for me. Nevertheless, i will share it once again for your perusal. I hope there are communications amongst Ambank staff next time so the same info from client will not have to be repeated again and again. I have only received RM 6.59 on 19th June 2018 (May 2018 online cash rebate) for all of my online spending from 1st May 2018 to 31st May 2018. However, upon my re-calculation, i should have gotten RM 15.08 as oppose to RM 6.59 that had been credited to me. The calculations as followings: 17th May 2018 = RM 98.00 from Shopee 19th May 2018 = RM 9.50 from Lazada 19th May 2018 = RM 9.50 from Lazada (1st transaction) 20th May 2018 = RM 9.50 from Lazada (2nd transaction) 21st May 2018 = RM 93.00 from Shopee 29th May 2018 = RM 98.00 from Shopee 30th May 2018 = RM 185.02 from Goshop Online Total online spent = RM 502.52 (Suppose to get RM 15.07 cash rebate) However, Ms Rose told me GoShop Online is not counted as online shopping despite i have made the purchase online at www.goshop.com.my ?! Well fine, even if you ignore that RM 185.02 from Goshop, the total spending is RM 317.50, which means 3% of it should be RM 9.53. But i am only given RM 6.59 for it. Please advise? I am tired of explaining the same thing again and again to all of your different agents that "help" me in my case. I have also credit card from other banks but NONE of them give me issue like this. I am really fed up with it. Could you please give me a definite answer on how your cash rebate (3% online purchase) is calculated and what are the hidden T&C ?? (Just like Goshop is not classified as online purchase?!?! , Shopee paid via iPay88 is also not classified as online purchase?? Are you kidding me??! Thanks and i hope to hear from you real soon as this has been dragged for quite some time. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Aug 10 2018, 12:01 PM) after searching the answer on the CB calculation for True Visa, there is still no exactly answer whether it is calculate by statement date or calendar cycle right? They confirmed to me it is calculated based on calendar date (1st day until last day of the month, regardless of ur statement cycle). and based on TRANSACTION DATE, not posting date.i just got my True Visa and my previous VI statement date is 28 of each month, so basically i will get CB every month if i just top up BP on 1st week of each month right? or the statement for VI and True will be different? Anyone can advise? |
