Ya 500 bucks is easy to achieve but the list of PPL is not enough to cover all the airport. Likely most visited airport is KLIA still.
So probably to enter PPL for both leg is very dependent on where we visit...

i received my am bank VS and i call the bank to ask about the foreign currency markup. the person said the only fee is 1% admin fee only for all am bank card.
anyone can confirm if ambank wmc has better rate than vs? gonna travel next month and thinking of which card to charge all my spending.

Part of the reason i applied my VS is because of this discounted HPC member. Yes first year is free but AMbank will charged this amount before the year started, which mean you have to pay first before it gets renewal.

and if you only want one year, you need to inform them to stop renewal 3 months before year 1 ended. or else RM350 will be charged for year two.

and also, this is a discounted membership and does not come with all the voucher that full priced membership come with. you only get 3 50% voucher, no free night, no free meal, no 30% voucher.

And it can be used on malaysia, thailand, china and hong kong.
if you planned to used the 50% voucher, it only valid in malaysia, for 5 hotels, doubletre kl and jb, hilton kl,pj and kuching.
fyi, hilton Kl contract is up by year end and the property is sold to le meridien so it is doubtful the contract will be renewed.
and that 50% voucher is not really useful on newer and netter property, the allocated room are always fully booked.
from now til next year, doubletree JB is definitely fully book, and i never see any weekend is usable on doubletree KL.
for pj and kuching is ok, but they are old and cheap already.
for hilton KL, voucher is usable but the cheapest room you can get is executive plus and it cost rm 360-380. not worth it if your are hilton honors gold member where you will be upgraded automatically up to executive level.

erm, u wont get the card, is 100% digital. the card thing stopped last year or so.
all the voucher and details are in mobile app. and hilton will scan the code on your app when you redeem.
actually, for 350, if you go to have 2 person dinner in hilton for a few times you will get back the annual fee in form of discount getting from your dinner already.

yes, if you wish to utilize HPC voucher, u can either book on HPC app or call the property.
same if you want to utilize HPC 10% discount on property outside of malaysia.
