Today I encountered something really strange with ambank card at bhp kepong. Try contactless twice and both were rejected. Strangely I did received a message saying RM200 withhold for petrol. Hopefully I didn't just gave someone free petrol.

I'm lucky then... I got quite a lot.
Actually back then was interested to increase Samsung Pay count... but later stop because it was annoying needing to reset my card due to over limit on paywave. Attached thumbnail(s)

So many cancel their card. I'm still keeping mine. I have combined 50k which is enough to offset SST for both card. At first wanna cancel but ambank mastercard is a very good card to use with expedia for 15% off.

Might cancel my ambank card next year. Still have points to offset SST this year for both my cards.
The only reason I liked this card is the 18% discount when used with expedia. Most cards would give 8-10% but at inflated price which would be no difference. However ambank mastercard gives 18%, which would still give few percent off after the inflated price. |
