Being FFKed (a.k.a. fong fei kei) or in English - being abandoned or stood-up on arrangement IS NOT something you should start a thread about. Furthermore no trading occured.

IF you feel less gentlemen, give the FFKer a bit of scolding and that's it. Live goes no, don't waste your time starting a thread here. Don't waste other's time for dealing.

Sometimes people FFK by mistake, sometimes on purpose. If you're not happy, just to debate on the sales thread instead of opening a thread here.

Anyhow, I've added a new item for sale. The buyer, phantomzone again Pmed me stating tat he is interested. However, the item is then sold to other buyer, as I prefer and priority will be given to those COD as stated in my sale thread.

The buyer starts to defamation me using his signature.




This buyer is obviously trying to defamation me. He should be listed in the minor offense blacklist as he is neither honest nor good here.

hi all traders, beware of Casio_Shock, his mobile phone number 0163548161. FFK me on cod for 5.1 home theater system just now. asked me to cod at 9.30pm but didnt turned up and didnt sms me even i have given him my hp number this afternoon, made me waited for more than half an hour.

This number 0172374153 is a ffk-er . He/she msged me about yesterday on my hp and confirmed to buy my n73 ME for rm950, then at night 11 something he/she smsed me said can lower price? so i lowered it to rm900 cause i need it urgently. Then just now we arranged to meet at Midvalley at 12.30pm . I smsed the buyer he/she replied he/she is still at rawang . then i said i reached already, then i got no reply since then i waited till 2pm! tried calling the buyers phone no answer , he/she off his/her phone! i was like wtf.................... argh


a few days ago lyn member by the nick of Hafiz89Stylo~ also ffked me, he posted a topic on selling his k810i http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/537041/+20 he already agreed to trade with me, which is two days ago. On the day of the trade i msged him , he said he will come to cod place at night. i said ok, when night time came i sms/call him no one reply . his number is 0122219451. i called him the next day, he said he sold his phone wtf, he didnt even tell me suddenly said sold the phone. i think maybe these two are the same ppl cause both of them offered to trade k810 with me

i had to buy an ipod today but i could not attend to the guy just because of the 0172374153 person . anyone knows who is the owner of that number?

i hv experienced with a seller but not Zenong which cancel the deal which i hv paid full amount to his account then wait for he post to me after 3 day i bank it(as he promise post date). on the day he promise post to me, he pm me and ask me gv him my account number. he wan cancel the deal.

He tried to con me and even FFK my sales. He mention he had bank in money to my account via ATM machine using his maybankard and even claim he had receipt printed out mention about my name and account number. Yet i didn't receive payment from him. He pester me to send the item before payment made.Everytime i called him is either he not bothered to answer my call or else switch off his phone.

Please beware not to deal with this guy. After reading lots of dispute case about him. I wonder how he still stand a chance to deal in LY

Hi there everyone, initially i never thought of bringing this up but I figured out if I don't do this, I'm afraid many potential sellers will face this predicament too in the end.

I was having a wardrobe clearance under stuff for the ladies, and a girl approached me by sending me a PM telling me she's interested in a long long list of items within a few hours after I started the topic. All in all after a few PMs she added another few, I think it came to about 15 of them all together. So okay, I was very happy because I considered her to be my first customer so I modelled every single picture and sent it to her. Kept in touch through MSN and all, since she acted like a very nice person. I promised to give her discounts as well.

The apparent horror started when she told me she wanted two skirts, but couldn't figure out which one so she asked me to reserve BOTH for her. I did, so that's okay even though I knew I'll lose a few customers. In the end she cut down the other one and wanted one, so that's fine as well. She added another few tops so I thought she's a serious buyer. Chatted in MSN and she kept on asking if I had any other stuff to sell and such. I even had to tell another few forumers and potential buyers who are interested in a particular skirt that I'm already reserving the skirt to this girl. I could have sold it to the other forumers for a higher price but I kept my promise for I've already reserved it for her as she was the one who enquired about it first.

I wanted to close this deal as soon as possible as I have other things to handle and I don't wanna drag this for long. Before this I've already told her that I could send her items to her through postage and I'll bear the cost since she took a few items and I wanted to clear my wardrobe so I gave her a discount as well. But sad to say her response was "I don't trust postage. I experienced this before and I had to wait for 3-4 weeks for my items to arrive". I felt strange because cases like this never happened so often, I never thought of anything except that she was another unlucky victim previously, neither did I suspect her too.

So then I told her I could only COD with her at Summit Subang (which is far far away from where I usually COD) since she lives in Klang and I wouldn't be able to go that far. Isn't it supposed to be this way that sellers have the advantage on where to decide for COD? My dad doesn't go there often so I took the initiative to plan all this... She knows I'll only be dropping by Summit area THE MOST. She agreed and told me that if she couldn't find transport, her friend will COD with me on behalf of her.

Initially wanted to COD with her next week. I set it to Monday. We sort of discussed it a while but to my horror she said she couldn't find transport. So okay, I was calm and I told her perhaps her friend could COD on her behalf? I was telling her as well that there might be a possibility that I couldn't make it but rest assured someone would pass her the items and that would be my younger brother, let's just say IF i couldn't make it. She disagreed telling me that she doesn't want my brother to COD. And when I told her I've set the place to Summit, she was telling me that her friend doesn't want to go there for he's afraid. Why? That's because he was involved in an accident there before. What on earth is this?

I was getting frustrated by then... So I told her I'll post it to her if we can't come to an agreement on when and how to COD, ALL at my cost. She declined. The reasons were that she doesn't want her mum to find out that she's been buying a lot of clothes. That's fine. I asked her if I could post the items to her friend's place then. I added that perhaps she could bank in the money to my account first before I send them out, but all in all she gave excuses like she couldn't go to the bank for she has no transport, and if she's to ask her mum to fetch her there, her mum would know. Okay, so I thought of a last resort, which is if she could ask any of her friends to bank in to me first on her behalf? Her answer was "Aiya my friends won't care and they won't know how to bank in". What the heck is this? None of them know how to use an ATM machine? This is totally absurd and impossible isn't it?

I wanted to just yell at her but I kept my cool. I was very very patient all the while but in the very end she told me that if I couldn't make it to Klang, perhaps I could just sell them off to other buyers. What on earth is happening? She reserved it for weeks and I gave her the nod (as usually items would only be reserved for a maximum of 3 days) but now she's asking me to put them back on sale? I've already lost a few potential buyers who are very very interested because of her and I doubt they'll want it again...

Please tell me what to do everyone... Is this considered as a serious and FFK case?

Promised to COD today at Bkt Jalil 1pm. I went there, he sms me say will be late, 1.30pm. Ok, I waited again. Called him a few times, he sms me say that he's driving, and will be late. I waited until 2pm, called him again, ignored my calls. SMS him, no reply.

Wasted my time, effort, and money to go to COD location.

I won't be mad if he pick up my call or reply my sms to call off the COD. But he just left me hanging there dunno whether he's coming or not.

infact,i trade since 2005. i met up a lot of different forumers(buyers),some really good, but i do met those nasty one. i keep a record myself on those id. so far i have 3 from LYN. They confirmed the order (after all sorts of negotiation and collection arrangement), when talking about when payment can be done, this group of people reluctant to reply calls/sms. It put seller in difficult very much; some were disappeared just like that; some were saying that order cancelled cause she found a better price etc. if the product is in stock then is ok, worst my products all must paid only can get from salon and not want to get anytime you want, not so easy.

i;ve learn some lesson. just to share:
1.do not desparate sales.
2.stick to your terms and conditions
3.no money no talk. (kind to people is cruel to yourself)

i dont think so any action can be done towards ffk-ers. too much cases,evidence etc. at the end just waste our time. better follow the above when you trade. ffk-ers on 'dark' side, seller on 'bright' side, they can easily create new id and revenge. i dont wish to put the blacklisted name on my thread,i just feel not-so-good la (so this is cruel to myself) haha!

That's an interesting question. I have kena many cases already, some ask 101 questions, say will deposit $$$ today, then later say not free, forgot lah, this lah, that lah, then just disappeared. Some one minute say wanna buy, next minute change his mind. If not, say wanna COD but date and time confirm later but when the time comes, failed to contact me. It's a waste of my time replying to such people.

Started deal 2 weeks ago, asked me to reserve for her. Asked for my account number, even gave me her address (maybe I should find and attack her.. Haha. Anyone near her area?), then few days later told me that she wants to change some items (as stated in her message on 29th Nov. No news from her after that but she left a reply in my thread last weekend saying she'll bank in on Monday. I allowed her to cos she took the initiative to tell me without going MIA.

However after not hearing from her for few days, I messaged her. No reply. I messaged her again yesterday and she replied. saying she's broke la (broke then still trade in lowyat for what!). Wahlau eh, sounded like it's my fault. I told her everything's stated clearly in my terms and conditions and she should abide by it. What the heck is all this? Buyer sounded seller when seller demanded her to pay? Was giving her own excuses... Still thinks she's right after all these though. Wait till she kena from others. Worst buyer I've ever seen. Not only she is irresponsible, but she's damn rude as well. Even challenged me by asking what sorta complaint I'll file when I told her so. God damn it. Blacklist her!

FFK tag helps the future sellers/buyers know which type of person they would deal about as to help reduce the cost and time and doing business. Even in ebay if you won the bid or buy right now and you're not committed to the business transactions the buyer will be blacklist.

i saw this thread 2 days ago , http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/607560 , and i was interested and pmed him straight away , he pmed me his best price and he said okay and we set a time to meet up which is today at 11am .So both of us agreed.

I went out and 10aam this morning , and from all my way down the road was jamming , so i smsed him and said i'll be late, at 11.30am . So after all the suffer jam i reached at 11.30am sharp and stand infront of the HTC center as promised .

So after 10 minutes waiting there , i called him, but turn out that he didn't pick up his handphone , so i called and called and sms and sms again and again and again , but to no avail , he never pick up his phone

Then at around 12.30 , i used mysister's phone to call , he didn't pick up also , but amazingly he called my sister back after 5 minutes . Finally i get to talk to him, from his background i can hear that he is in Lowyat plaza, as it was the same song playing at the background from what i was listening , or maybe i was wrong , but from the noise i can hear that he's in somewhere crowded , ie , lowyat plaza. I asked him where r u and r u coming? his replied was " coming coming " . Okay, so i waited.

Another 30 minutes gone , i waited and waited and i called him again , again he never pick up nor reply sms.

In the end , i waited until 1.30pm and i walked to The Pavilian , and guess what, until now , its almost 7pm , he never reply me or call me .

From my understanding , if u're not going to sell me , please tell me , at least after 10 minutes i waited i can go to other place already. but he didn't , so he just let me waited there like a madman. I was so angry, i never met such unethical person before.

FFK - a.k.a breach of contract under Contract Act 1950 is a serious offence. A contract may be verbal or non-verbal. I have all the sms he sent me , and i have evidence that he ever promised to sell me , so a contract was establised.

I posted the sale thread on 18th December 2007 hoping to sell before 1st January 2008, as the line will expire on that date. I did stated on the thread about the expiry.

He/she PM me on the 27th December asking me whether it is still available or not. And asking whether can COD at Giant Shah Alam on Sunday(30th December 2007). I gave her my contact as she did ask for it, and told her it is still available.



I at that time were still at my hometown Penang for my semester break.

Then no response at all from he/she. Keep PM her to contact my brother and me but NOTHING. Till 2nd of January, that he/she told me her computer crash, which I think is totally lame excuse.

The number just expire just like that. If I know I am being to FFKed by he/she, I will definitely activate myself and keep the number first. Real FFK and pissed off.

This forumer Devshan pmed me saying he is interested to buy my Nokia 5210 for RM100 include postage.So I smsed him back using the number he gave me.

Then he pm me back saying he has received my sms and will confirm again on the purchase.The next day,he pm me back saying he wanted to buy and ask me to give my Maybank account to him and he promised will bank in at night.

I waited whole night but still no payment so I sms him for two times the next morning asking him whether he has bank in already or not.

Then he just pm me saying he does not want anymore with a simple sorry.He wasted my RM0.90 on my sms fees and now he say he don't want.If in the first place don't want to purchase then please just say no and stop me from wasting my sms fees.

I told him i will delay bank in by a day or two, he said ok.
Then when i told him i've banked in, he said he already sold to his friend for cheap...
He refunded me after that.
I did not quite feel bad about it, as he told me he was in need of cash so no choice cannot wait for me to bank in, so maybe it was my mistake for the delay.
But did not realise he had so many FFK cases.
I'm not here to report any FFK or wat, but just to share my experience almost dealing with him. He was quick in refund though, so i was OK with it.

I am a new member here. I am trying to sell of my NDSL for a very cheap price. And I got a PM from a forumer name Axonz asking for best price and stuff. The deal was secured immediately. I am supposed to meet him tonight at 9.30pm plus (22/2/08). I was being very considerate to COD at a place where it is convenient for him. He called me so many times this morning and also sms me to remind me of our deal tonight. But just now at 7.45pm plus,he called and ask me to cancel the deal. Reason given : His GF bought him a unit already.

I just feel very angry,because I reject other people's offer for him. I feel cheated.

Yet another FFK case by ia_ent similar to m o m o.
He offered me the highest price for my ram and still got no reply from him after i pm him asking bout whether he still wants it anot.No courtesy to even tell at all.
Should be avoided in future sales.

honestly speaking i dont think even 50% forumer alert of this ffk thread. buyer dont really take "order confirmation" seriously. but in fact many only focus on conman. personally, TRADE ZONE meanning that both parties need to take responsibility. how i wish this thread is pinned on all GARAGE SALES section.

the story goes like this :

i was selling a Nokia 5700 here and this damn fella pangky PMed me & asked for bets price etc. in the end, we've reached an agreed price and wanted to deal on Saturday @ Times Square @ 2PM (later was changed to SS2 @ 8PM) but i was too busy that day & told him wasn't able to deal, so it was postponed to today (Monday).

called him in the afternoon today to ask him about the deal since he's not replying my SMSes. he said he can only deal after 7PM. so i waited & before i went out, i gave him a call & he said he's gonna be there by 845PM. even asked him whether is he serious in getting the phone and he gave a YES. so went out from Cheras @ around 8PM. took a ride on a friend's bike to save cost but unfortunately it rained when we reached the SS2 area. was soaking wet when reached the place to deal.

but we waited till 9PM & keep calling his mobile & even sent few SMSes but he never replied. so we thought maybe it's kinda jam or he's busy & decided to wait for awhile until 930PM. but he never show up.

i'm OK if he has changed his mind & decided not to get the phone or he got something came up & wasn't able to meet up but the problem is, why couldn't he answers my calls or even inform me beforehand? if he isn't serious in dealing then why he would have said YES when asked about whether he still wanna deal or not?

was really pissed off with such irresponsible attitude. went all the way to SS2 on bike, met a heavy rain & was soaking wet & been FFK'ed by such jerk.

He confirmed the item for my at price RM45,which i made a discount for him,and we had made a deal to COD on friday,10a.m. I sent a sms to acknowledge him 1 day b4 the COD, he din't reply me, and the second day which is friday morning, b4 i out i sent him a sms tat i'm going out now, he din't reply oso. when i reached the place, i try to call him but he dint pick up the call, and i call him few times, he oso dint pick it up. I waited him for about 15mins, then i choose to leave d,bcz i think he is FFK me. Irresponsible Buyer!!!

yesterday i travel fr my place to his plc (almost 30min) but he wasnt in...i tried his handphone number which we used to sms a few time but the line seem to be terminated..

then he called me up at nite say he agree to meet again 2moro...and we meet at his office for 30min as he check the laptop.....after that he ask if i have a bank islam a/c so he can tranfer the money but i dun hv a/c there
so i offer him my maybank a/c....but he said he busy onli can banking at evening....but i decine...
in the end the deal was off as he didnt have enuff cash

and then a few hours later he called me up again....said he now have enuff CASH and wanted to deal
so i drive up there again (30min drive again...for the 3rd time)

when i reach there....he and his friend look at the laptop again...
and they gave me a riduculus offer.....WTF !!!
i oredi stated the laptop condition in the sales 1st page...and the buyer oredi known/awared about the condition as he oredi checked the laptop in the moring

In my humble opinion it is essential to have responsible buyer responsible seller.

I have sold a few things before.
When I have agreed a price with a buyer I'll stick to it and announce the offer to sell "closed".
Even if another buyer is offering to pay a bit more I'll have to sell to the buyer I made an agreement with.

The act of payment from the buyer and sending the item to the buyer should be done after the deal has been agreed.
Price negotiation should not be done during COD but before it.

the professional trading practice should only comes in 2 options which are either seller is willing to COD anywhere or else by post, stating areas as condition is not an act of sincerity due to no attempt in providing customer service even by making delivery, which is the basic thing in business deals.

A deal is a deal, even if the price is too low, but that is your offer price.
You should be lucky that General_Odin did not start a dispute against you. If it was me, i would not have let you go so easily.
This is the most severe FFK case i've seen.

Whatever reasons you stated in your threads are all crap, just because someone advised you that you item is worth more you FFK your buyer who had banked in is a big NO NO...

Eventhough mods are not going to do anything about this, but i do hope some trade enforcers look into this and make sure you get a ban if something like this happens again. I won't hesitate to press the report button this time.

Put it this way, your mom needs an organ transplant. The donor already agreed he'll donate his organ. You and your family are overjoyed but then suddenly he tells you he decided not to because some other guy is actually paying for his organ. How would you feel?

Deals are deals. If you're in the professional world, once you sign a contract, you stick to it or charges are to be brought up against you. Think before you deal next time.

make it this way la, suddenly the donor is healthy n decided he needs to use his organ for he's benefit. so he decided to apologize by writing a nice, warm n polite letter to my mom saying his intentions n he would refund d money i had paid to him for his organ n help my mom as much as he cud. so wud it be appropriate for me to 'maki' him n call him 'arrogant' or 'selfish'? so how now? if he follows the contract then he must kill himself to donate his organ because one stupid fella cant used his own senses to think wisely? is it considered selfish when one has no choice to choose from? plus when one has politely state his reasons and apologize publicly and personally, is it appropriate and nice for others to blame him non-stop without thinking for both side of parties.
