How can it be a ffk issue? Buyer too slow and seller has other customers too not just only him.

It's called first come first serve basis, no reservations at all made.

i have this issue with one of the lowyat member here. Before I report his FFK, i want to know is this "FFK" issues is common or acceptable in this forums.

seller)  Offer me chromecast and will able to deliver next week
me) My conditions is must be deliver with 10days
seller) No problem
me) quote "then u have a deal!"
seller) send bank account no
seller) after 90 minutes say "sold"
me) quote "FFKing"
seller) i never reserved for you. is first come first serve.

How you guys think? Is this common?

If the buyer can reject the seller anytime, why can't the seller do the same to the buyer?

If that is a legitimate complaint, i will be adding here 10 posts since last month ALONE to be very honest.

withdrawing from negotiation ain't an FFK issue.

On 15th of September (Sunday ), skool87 PMed me and inquired about my Apple USB cable and adapter. He's from shah alam so we agreed to cod somewhere in the middle, which is lowyat. On 17th of September (Tuesday), I reached Lowyat Plaza early at 2pm . He's only able to make it around 4 PM so I waited for him until then. At 4 PM, he told me his place is raining and asked if I can wait for him any longer. Decided to wait for him and until 5, still no update from him so I decided to go home. The thing that frustrates me is, he doesn't look like a serious buyer. Everything I have to push him and chase him. At night I PMed him again (after ignoring my previous messages) and asked if he still wanted the item. He said yes and asked for postage so I disclosed my bank details to him. The next day I PMed him to ask about the payment and I got ignored completely again. At night he PMed me saying he was sick and will 'totally' bank in to me the next day. Then he asked some few questions whether I'll be able to cod and I replied politely. No more replies after that. Seriously wasting my time.

I've repeatedly suggest that, no deposit, no COD.. If everyone cares to follow a simple rule, the COD world will be more peaceful... *sigh*

my point is, 95% of LYN are unwilling to pay deposit (even RM10)

when you give them your bank account number, all sorts of excuses start popping up

Tks for sharing.. my sales are 90% COD, and 100% are deposit payors... Sometimes its also down to how eager/desperate we are to sell I suppose.

Well, for me it's either full bank transfer & postage, or COD with zero deposit... I always get the "no need deposit lah bro, I will show up wan" story...

To me, agreeing to deal and then stop replying PM/SMS (even if neither party has gone to the COD location yet) still counts as FFK.

It really depends Bro. Everyone has their own set of dealing methods. Well it's true that most of us doesn't like to pay deposit because it is quite troublesome to bank in. For me I only ask for deposit for stuff that requires complicated process. For instance buyer request for a clean restore for the phone. It depends really on how much trust you put on your buyer. Kena FFK once only in lowyat and I don't regret never asking for deposit because why do you have to make life harder for the others just because of a black sheep? Well that's just my 2 cents.

That's not a FFK Bro. He asked for your details and stopped there. No verbal agreement and such. Moreover no time is set and how big is taman seputeh? Don't tell me you waited for him at the whole taman whistling.gif

It's pretty obvious you both did not read the conversation properly. The part where he says "can COD now" establishes the time, and the part where he says "ok deal, midvalley where" is definitely a verbal agreement. The negotiation process is over.

As I stated in an earlier post, I don't think I have to be waiting at the COD location for this to constitute a FFK case.

Anyway, each person is entitled to his/her own set of criteria to define what FFK is. For me, seeing how you deem his behaviour acceptable (especially Mr. Noobding) is a reflection on your own trading etiquette. Might fall asleep? What nonsense. Pfffftt rolleyes.gif
