I think the air-con repairman working in Singapore and mostly Malaysian.

Singapo i tryed to ask few,but all need cert. i taked some course in malaysia cert. but...still can't. tryed to register some course overseas and i got it. so i borrow few K$

they need cert? wow. never thought they even need cert.
but my friend is doing wiring in singapore and he doesn't mentioned any required "cert"
so you've registered the course overseas? congrats ! i hope it will eventually turn out to be more worth than your current paycheck.

Most of the fresh grad. (degree) in engineering line have the start/basic salary @RM2800 at least. 6 years back, Most of my friends got rm2.5k working as a mechanical engineer too in WD.

That's the problem with Malaysian employers - they pay "market rate" without considering whether it's enough for the employees to realistically survive or not.

In my company, we pay from RM3k and minimum 2 months bonus per annum + 10% increment, because I feel a person needs at least RM4k~RM6k to live in the city.

Depends which company you joined.

My brother who had like 1 yr working experience in oz after graduated, came back to malaysia and took a 7.5k / month job here. ut now he quit cos he got a better offer 9 work 10 days and off 20 days with a daily rate of RM1.5k in the mines in oz. So he flies in n out of oz on his own expense. So kira average Rm10k / month lor minus the flight price.

No worth to jump for any job less then 20% increase unless desperate & not happy with current job.

Try find other better job then only jump. It will be little for Senior exec to get less then 4k.

At least i can learn some knowledge in engineering site....
But looking at the salary now, haw can i survive in the future ?????
That why i try to find any construction related company to expand my knowledge and salary....
still struggling to get another job, but maybe people expectation will effect me...
Most of people said, its very difficult to joint construction company if our background are in manufacturing now....

If your brother is working in Oz and getting Oz salary, it is not a fair benchmark to the salary earned in Malaysia. On top of that, the money that he earned will be taxed as well.

RM6k is your basic salary? Any allowances, Commission or Incentive?
