Its o.k for industry average but you should think about your next step in your career already, perhaps in management/leading.

I get roughly RM3.3k - RM4k after OT and allowances claims. I spend RM1.2k on my house installment.. and RM300 on average on petrol because I travel to clients place everyday.

Chances are you are spending too much.

Anyhow, side-track abit, can i ask..... Isit correct/ethical if company do not want to accept Medical Certs? My company based in Klang Valley, i went to Johor, fall sick and take MC. Come back KL, they reject my MC. Unfair or acceptable? Regards to all.

if someone is not local, meaning to say that they have to rent a room out there and pay everything by himself, maybe he still can save but i dont think he can save much.

and if u r local and staying wit yr family then you might able to save more if compared to others.

Well, view it how you may wish. Your savings depends on yourself. 40 - 50% of my salary is usually gone when it comes in due to commitments and yet I can still save 900 - 1.3k per month. Its really how you spend it.
