Sony boss says it's GAME OVER for PlayStation 5 until 2021.

PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan confirmed in a new interview that Sony's launch stock of PS5s has now been completely depleted.

Speaking to Russian outlet TASS, Ryan stated that “absolutely everything has been sold” with regards to current PS5 stock.

Becoz for the first time in Sony console history, there's backward compatibility to play PS4 games at enhanced resolution/frame rate on a next gen console.

i buy now because my ps5 can play back almost all ps4 games. so even if not much ps5 games, can still play ps4 games.

i lazy to do that.

this is my 1st ps product ...was going to get ps4 pro ...but i keep waiting until ps5 come out with a stable 60 fps ...so i faster buy it when avalible..

for those that dont know ps5 can play all the ps4 games that have unlock frame rate at 60fps with almost no drop and that the reason i get it first want to enjoy the 60fps full experience ps4 games on ps5.

ps4 fat version like mine sometimes got fps drop already for new games.

I concur. Sony should also look at the sales volume here first. I should think the sales volume for Malaysia is not bad and hence we are getting it earlier than many countries.

Hence console very popular
If you recall back during MCO period (March til May), all consoles price markup a lot
Especially Nintendo Switch cost up to 2k

For me, I will wait for awhile then only buy PS5
Since not much PS5 launch title to play right now
Yet I mainly play console exclusive game on PS4 / 5 only, if the game is available on PC I will play on PC

Unfortunately, bloodborne still the same issue. Already tested, have video on YouTube. That game really needs a 60fps official patch.

1. Sony x900h- able to but issues with blurry display at 4k120hz

Yeah still stuck at 30 fps, but at least frame pacing problem not there anymore.

I thought PS4 dualshock can only use for PS4 games on PS5, but I never heard anything that PS5 controller cannot be used on PS4 games being run on PS5.

Can't we use the PS5 controller to play PS4 Games on the PS5?

For PS4 games played on PS5, players can use either the DualShock 4 wireless controller or the DualSense wireless controller.

x90H is just software related, and the blurry display at 4K120 are mostly from PC / graphic card related.

I'm on the hunt for a new TV too, I suggest we both wait until next year for the new line up due to the following reasons:

1) LG CX is HDMI 2.1 on all ports, but it cannot handle the full 48Gbps bandwidth of HDMI 2.1. Doesn't matter much now but something for you to keep in mind.
2) No 120FPS games worth playing on PS5 anyway.
3) Once the 2021 series comes out, if the spec not very attractive then we can tapau the 2020 series at a lower price haha

my fren managed to grabbed a unit via sony website, but just received a call from them saying due to some "technical error", though payment made and order placed, but there is no stock available for his order in 1st batch but promise he can get the unit in the 2nd batch...
oh ya, no ETA when 2nd batch will be coming~
