Sony boss says it's GAME OVER for PlayStation 5 until 2021.

PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan confirmed in a new interview that Sony's launch stock of PS5s has now been completely depleted.

Speaking to Russian outlet TASS, Ryan stated that “absolutely everything has been sold” with regards to current PS5 stock.

so i made a new one & i ain't gonna bother to close it.

i buy now because my ps5 can play back almost all ps4 games. so even if not much ps5 games, can still play ps4 games.

i lazy to do that.

i just provided a link to version 1, for anyone who wants more info about ps5.

if there was no shortage, all regions would almost have the same launch date like ps4.

i heard thailand & philippines don't even have a launch date yet.

my ps4 already sound like jet engine. so yeah, i need new ps5 because i had enough of that stupid sound. also, i got some money to spend.

if this is true, then many people who preordered from sony store website will be affected by this.

i just came back from sony store @ the curve and they only have disc version for preorder. i wanted to get the digital version but ended up with disc version instead. oh well, at least i can still play some of my old ps4 disc games like the witcher.

actually it's true. when sony store called me in the morning to confirm my preorder, it came from a mobile phone number.

i am one of the early birds who pre-registered with sony store 2 months ago. for people like me, we don't have to queue up & can go anytime to make payment for the preorder.

currently all the stock is sold out & you will have to wait for the second round.

actually i want the digital version but when i went to sony store to make my preorder, they told me digital version no more stock.

if nobody want digital version how come no more stock everywhere?!

i think you are right. gamers in those countries probably bought most of the digital stock & we ended up getting all the disc version stock.

which retailer is this? i hope it's not gamers hideout.

no problem. can still ps4 games. as long as my po is secure, i don't mind any delay.

there is only one place that i know that will let people buy ps5 on launch date & that is Gaming Gadgets at 1U.

they are not offering any po. instead they will only sell ps5 to customers on a first come first serve basis.

other retailers probably won't have any stock left on launch date due to the shortage of stocks.

last time i looked they not offering po? now they offering po...

but the cash is not free. if they cannot deliver during launch, people will want their money back.

better to po from sony store since they are nearby. i heard they are taking registrations for second batch.
