I expected this video to create even more confusion, fucking vincent didn't put a big disclaimer at the beginning of the video.
1) Not all TVs have HGIG. 2) He set the level of 1 tick above sun being visible to barely visible (which you cannot see in his video because his camera exposure is wrong). The problem is that if your TV does not have HGIG, it will always be tone mapping. Therefore you cannot just set it to 15 steps from the lowest setting and expect the same result. 3) Do the same thing as step 1. 4) You set to the lowest if your room is pitch black or if your ambient light is no MORE than 5 nits. Do you know how dim is 5 nits? Also it should only be set to 0 if your TV is an OLED. 5) Yes set RGB to Full, but make sure your TV is also set to Full/High (whatever it's labeled).
If for LG C9 I need to set hgig tone mapping on the TV before Ps5 hdr calibration correct?

Well actually I don’t believe in external fans blowing in or sucking air out from a console. But I may just add a normal usb fan to blow hot air out of my entertainment cabinet if I put the PS5 inside one.
Will have to get my hand on the PS5 to see what is the airflow design if using 3rd party stand will actually block air intake from the bottom of the console.
Is it too late to participate now? Ive just submitted for verification.
In the guidance page, it states last date on 30th nov, but if i recall correctly based on the notification message, the date is extended until mid dec.
I ordered from Sony Foto Shangri-La at midvalley, like walk-in before 11AM on the 12th. Although the receipt says "11th Dec onwards" and their FB page posted that the 12th pre-orders are for the first batch, I'm still not 100% sure, coz when I messaged them the night before they say there's already waiting list.
The guy on the counter also say even though it's first batch but there might be multiple shipments, so I might not get it on the 11th. Obviously nothing is guaranteed but just wondering if anyone else heard something similar?
