QUOTE(Anonymous26 @ Nov 13 2020, 12:03 PM) Disc Version, buying no other accessories, I received the confirmation email at around 12.08AM, but the payment in fact went through at 12:01:16am. Really wtf, they really should cancel certain pre-order from retail store, buying earliest kena cancel order, what kind of logic is this? Why u want them to cancel retail store pre order? Each store have allocation of units. Same goes for online store. Thier estore must be those that cant input unit quantity on them, hence the `glitch' As so many online scalpers aka bot trying to get it. They should cancel the bots order, not retail store. The retail store did the allocation correctly for walk in. Those using estore will have problem cuz too many ppl spamming it at the same time. Just like lazada, I bought a few stuff on11. 11 and got cancel end of the day cuz can't fulfill. Quantity not showing correctly. |

QUOTE(Anonymous26 @ Nov 13 2020, 12:57 PM) Damn guys, Im still in conversation with Customer Representative, and there are some new findings based on the conversation, it seems Sony Store the Curve is the store responsible for cancelling all the online pre-order! Fyi. The curve store is also taking control of shopee account as well |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Nov 13 2020, 07:44 PM) Not trying to defend for Sony. But I believe some of them occured due to human error. Boss. All the reported problem is using the back console USB for extended hdd and/or data transfer. For example, for the issue of extended storage may shut down the console due to unknown reason. This one could be their mistake of plug in to the wrong port. According to PS5 Ultimate faq https://blog.playstation.com/2020/11/09/ps5...e-ultimate-faq/ Input/Output Front of Console USB Type-C® port (Super-Speed USB 10Gbps) USB Type-A port (Hi-Speed USB) — Connect your DualSense wireless controller to this port. Input/Output Back of Console USB Type-A port (Super-Speed USB 10Gbps) x2 — Use these ports to connect a USB drive for extended storage. You can also connect your HD Camera here. The USB Type-A port in front of the console is designed for Dualsense wireless controller. Some user may not awared of it and they plugged their external HDD drive into it. The correct way is to plug in to the USB ports at the back of the console. Why? Do you notice the word "Super-Speed USB 10Gbps"? That's the term means ready for external drive. The USB Type-A port in front of the console got Hi-Speed USB only. So leave that for your controller. As for the external SSD with usb-c cable, you can plug that into the USB Type-C® port (which is also Super-Speed USB 10Gbps) in front of the console. And don't ask me why Sony designed it in that way. I have no idea. But since they mentioned this specifically in their FAQ, then we better just follow their instruction to avoid any unnecessary issues. |

Most of them is bout the same with +/- rm10 difference. Ps5 is new so don't think they will have discount for physical copy anytime soon. You can get those ps4 games that have free Ps5 upgrade. The ps4 variance should be cheaper for some games. abhipraaya liked this post

QUOTE(thankyou @ Nov 20 2020, 01:12 PM) If you all know the electronic appliance industry in Malaysia, you all would know that all shipment sell in thru local sellers need SIRIM approval. And they are bloody slow in getting it done. Its even worst during pandemic, cuz they are doing alternate shift. Sometimes it's not that Sony doesn't want bring it into msia on time. It's the entire chain that's slowing down. |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Nov 20 2020, 09:57 PM) I think no one would look forward to play ps4 games in 120hz. 60hz should be enough. Right now everyone is more concern about playing ps5 games in 120hz. Lol I'm looking forward to it. The console is powerful enough to do 120hz on ps4 games, so why not? Xbox is getting patches for older games to run at 120hz. Realistically 4k 120hz is near impossible for ps5. Dmc5 120hz mode is on 1080p and it can't even locked at 120hz. Whats worse is it doesn't come with VRR for Ps5. I don't mind if it's not lock at 120hz, but no VRR and screen tearing is a big no no ps. I have about 300++ games untouch on my ps4. I would love to play it on a better and more capable machine. QUOTE(tnsai @ Nov 22 2020, 08:44 PM) Hey guys how do you guys feel about this model ? Weak hdr. Its pretty pointless with only upto 300nit to display hdr. Everything will be washout. Benq EW3270U Plan to use it for work and also 4k gaming for PS5.. Any other alternatives in this size range? If you are into HDR then look for those hdr600 monitors. For me, HDR is the best eye candy technology for monitor/TV if implemented correctly. So it's important to have a good spec to cater HDR performance. |

QUOTE(tnsai @ Nov 24 2020, 10:34 AM) I just read that announced a couple of months ago that hdmi 2.1 4k monitors coming. What do you guys think, will they be really pricey ? (like much pricier than any equivalent non hdmi2.1 60hz monitors?) Philip momentum will release 1 of it next year. Don't know if i should wait it out.. or if it is out of my budget anyway , i get one now that i could use for work.. Think it will be the cheapest hdmi 2.1 monitor. Around rm3k-3.5k? https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog/philips-m...1-now-included/ |
