anyway, these people who try to po on launch day only have themselves to blame if they can't get it. some people already line up as early as 6AM at sony store just to get the preorder. if you come later, sure all sold out already.

Just found out PS5 doesn't support anything higher than UAC1 for external USB DACs. So all that dumb hype talk about tempest engine, 3D audio and the focus on higher fidelity for games all becomes superficial talk to lead the dumb to become even dumber.

They removed the optical port, but then also decided NOT to allow passthrough of headphone audio on the HDMI port. That means no work around other than rely on the meh headphone jack of the dualsense. Mind boggling from a company that also does audio.

Sony: we want games to sound good, but you can't have options to make your audio experience better because we can't figure out how to support anything.

Does anyone know what will happen to a returned defective PS5? Sony sell as a refurb or reuse the parts inside?
