but 158 cm /47 kg is not overweight la. slim is generally beautiful but looking fit and healthy is more beautiful and sexy! |

Lose weight need to change lifestyle and have a healthy diet.
I've tried Herbalife and on going until now. I lose 13kg in 5 months and now feel great and healthy. Another thing is when wanna lose weight, beside changing ur diet, you also need the commitment to do so. Never give up... :thumb: |

commitment and discipline is wuts lacking. u know the methods in ur mind ade.... those who have sweet tooth can surely die. u will never be thin UNLESS u have discipline. once commited to lose weight, u must do anything nessesary to achieve that goal.
do not skip meals. ppl tend to skip meals to be thinner. but in actual fact, u will get so hungry for skipping that meal, u will eat twice as much after. so double think ur actions first. eat lightly and less but do not skip meals. breakfast u can have uncle toby cereals on the go. or if u have time, eat oats. will lower ur chloestrol as well. then come lunch, eat some guava or other fruits then come dinner if ur mum cooks, have a small portion of rice and vege and less on meat. DO NOT TAKE SUPPER UNLESS IS LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION which i do not forsee it coming if ur discipline enuff. if ur staying on ur own. swap method from lunch to dinner and vice versa. |

your ideal weight is 43.5kg+-. But it might be too much..
i've tried carb-less for two weeks and drink soy powder with spirulina powder at night to help me "pooh pooh"the next day.. I dropped from 65 to 62 in two weeks time. So carb is the culprit. try detox with fruits for three whole days..not tropica fruits. try s/berries, dragon fruits or kiwi, green apples. |

I'm doing that spirulina+soy drink thingy everynight + the replacement diet drink in the morning. Started on last saturday, weighed about 63KG, today i weighed, hehe 60.
I don't skip lunch or dinner, but i don't eat too much, less carbs... (white bread and white rice is my life T_T) tend to get hungry around 12am ( i'm not an early sleeper), would drink milo or nestum or whatever...lol Remember to drink tons and tons of water, at least 1.5L a day ! (although i kinda slack in that part...><) |

Eat balance meals every day. At least 8 glass of warm water. Eat at least 2-3pcs of fruits. Do some cardio excersice. Please don't skip breakfast. Morning breakfast is very important. I tried my personal trainer from Fitness First give me a eating plan. Is really useful? Wanna try? I lose 3kg in a month. Without skip fast food or ice-cream.
Breakfast (choose 2) - Cereal/cooked oats (with milk) - Wholemeal Toast with butter (2 slice) - Drink 1 glass of low-fat milk (HL) - Cottage Cheese (20g) - Soya Milk (1 Glass) Lunch (Choose 2 or 3) - Mixed green salad with thousand island sauce - Wholemeal bread with butter (2 slice) - Bean Soup - Baked Apple - Low-fat milk ( 2 glass) - Wholemeal bread sandwich (2 slice) Dinner (choose 2 or 3) - Bake pumpkin - Coleslaw & mayonaisse - 100g of meat (beef, fish or chicken) - Steam fish with garlic - Steam bak choy with oyster sauce - Grill fish or chicken - Fresh Fruits (2 pcs) - Fruits yogurt - Plain water - Pear Snacks (choose 1 or 2) - Popcorn - Raisins - Cheese (1 slice) - Mixed nuts Remember cut down all instant noodles. Less drink carbonate drinks, less eat sweets and less eat fast food. If want drink fruits juice instead of warm water. You can try this 2 slices of watermelon blend and put little of salt instead putting sugar. Do excercise every day. Either walking 30minutes per day. Or do cardio, yoga or dancing or jogging. After excercise please drink 1 glass of 100plus and wait 2hours before eat ur meals. Try the meals for 14days you will see the result. I try this plan last year OCtober 2007, now I have lose 10kg. Before my weight is 75kg. |

The creator of Atkins Diet himself died of heart disease... ironic yea? Your body DOES need carbs to live... do not simply cut down on carbs and pile on fat... the Atkins Diet is full of fat...
The basics of weight loss is simple: Calorie Restriction. Space out your calories and choose good food combined with low-calories, and google some pages to calculate the amount of calories you need in a day. Exercise is a good way to burn calories, but lazy people like me cut more calories instead of going to exercise religiously. But of course I do exercise a few times each week. Major calorie restriction is NOT RECOMMENDED because it will lead to major health problems and you may even develop an eating disorder because of it. |

I was 63 kgs after my a level exam. I really didn't want to go to uk all fat so i told my mum that i wanted to lose weight. her plan for me was:
exercise for at least 1 hour a day no carbs for the first 2 weeks (this includes no fruits, no white bread, no rice) i basically had veggies (no dressing) and chicken/fish/eggs for those two weeks.. healthy diet after the two weeks, with exercise i ended up doing 2-3 hours a day on the treadmill, just walking, no running. i managed to lose bout 7 kilos in 2 months camtu.. then in the third month (just before i flew to uk) mum enrolled me for this slimming programme to mainly tone up my body(cause my bum was still quite big) and i didn't lose any weight, but i did lose some inches. so it was definitely worth it.. and now, in my second year, i've lost bout 2 more kilos cause of the busy schedule and other sports im playing now. and now that my weight is sort of maintained, i can eat junk food occasionally and still not gain weight so, all those no carb diets do work. but dont keep it up for too long cause its not good for ur health.. but exercise is definitely good!! but do be prepared to feel very nauseous the first week of eating no sugars |

Etkin diet is not a good way ! it somehow weakens and harm your body ! do think properly before you want to try on it!
My cousin tried this.. she has a list of food . and they count on proportion .for example, for carbohydrate - rice is 2 servings ,mee 1 servings , 2 piece of bread 1 servings . you can have 3 servings of carbohydrate per day , so u can adjust on ur own ... And she did it.. every 1 said she lose weight in 2 weeks . its healthier and safer ! |

I lost 5kg in 3 days after food poisoned
Actually I don't think that eating the food mentioned will help you much in part slimming .. That will slim you down by the whole body and the process should be slower, the best bet is to eat less and do exercise that helps to reduce demanded part's weight but what exercise to slim down thigh and hip.. I don't know, you should go asking in the healthy and fitness section, there are a lot of bodybuilders there who sure can give you idea on this. |

I perosnaly think that exersise is very improtant. If u are on a sliming program Grats to you. It would be more effective if u inculde exersise just basic stuff like walking in the park ect.. does not mean drastic movement . There is supliments you could take but quility wise is questionable and how much does it really help. It depends on product and quality.
Every person's body is different. so not all standard sliming programs are sutible. I personaly think that a custom silming program. Not talking about expensive stuff. But improtant is to know what your body needs to slim down effectively. If you have any questions fell free to Pm me. |

sign up for gym XD
when u look at the expensive bill of sucription, U will go to the gym and not waste the money. Alot ppl say save the money and buy treadmill, but here's the problem. when u are at home, is difficult to exercise cause of so many distraction, phone, tv, pc, work, books etc etc when u go to the gym, u can look at others, know ppl, it motivates us. get the point? |

cut off carbohydrate will reduce the size of thigh, and buttock, and if u can stand for 1 day without carbohydrate, u will feel urself thinner...it's true, i tried it before, but it is hard to maintain the diet without carbohydrate, that's a lot of delicious food with carbohydrate...n got side effects if u last for few days, u will feel cold or cant sleep at night because ur mentally will very high...that's my experience
and i aslso tried to skip dinner, but eat as much as i can before 3pm, and before sleep, drink soya bean or milo or other beverage...help me to loose 1-2kg per week, if execute this way for 7days per week. do some exercise like sit up...no need to do till sweat, just do for 10-15 times like that is ok. |

The best way is still jogging. Jz slowly build up your stamina .. you jz need to jog for about 15-20 min per day at the park and you will slowly see the effect after couple of months. But you must have the determination to jog and avoid food with high calories such as junks, etc .. jz eat normal and healthy and jog everyday for 15-20 minutes. And feel the result in 2 months time .. hehe. It works fine for me

you need to be aware of slimming tea ingredients as some function just to help u lose body water but not the body fat..
you may see result in 2-3 months but after that ur weight will bounce back twice times than before...So be aware !!... well...what cognitive and behavioral strategies of losing weight?(part of psychological) 1) Establish calorie - intake goals keep track, keep a diary on your calorie intake.. 2) Substitute - low calorie & low fat, - take more vegetables & fruits ( at least 5-15 types /portion) eat fiber food can enhance digestion system . recommend to eat half hour before main meal. - take low calorie snacks - drink at least 2000c water( NO Carbo-drink etc ) 3) Avoid temptation - plan your goal before entering a restaurant / go out for meal - stop for food after dinner . NO SUPPER - Don't linger in the kitchen - Don't bring fattening food to house 4) Exercise - to burn calorie will increase metabolic rate - see a friend or exercise with team ( motivate each other) - take a walk- make it routine 5) Reward yourself - meeting calories goal - when it happen,go for a holiday, shopping - imagine yourself in a new swimming suit 6) Use imaginary to help yourself lose out - imagine the fatty food as rotten, make you sick , make u fat, nausea fat ->high cholesterol -> etc etc.... recommend to take good rest, stable emotion, own goal, nutritional diet.. Its hard to follow above steps, but this is the efficient method to keep healthy body~....hehehehe..wish all the babes here can achieve own goal lu...~~ |

i'm oso trying to cut weight... My aunt recommended me to take medication. It's Reductil by Abbott. Active ingredient is Sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate. It's not over the counter drugs, need doc's prescription. proven clinically got no long term side effects. Onli short terms like constipation, sweating and etc. depending on individual. The drug works as a appetite reducer. Won't feel dat hungry while reducing ur daily intake of food, benefit is can eat watever u wan and live a normal life. It works for me cos i love food and eat a lot. Now i eat like 1-2 meals per day and exercise around twice a week. I lost 4kg within 3 weeks.

Girls, if u r planning to lose weight, make sure u do it in a healthy way, kay?
I would want anyone to be like me.. I once tried to lose weight, so i cut down a lot of food.. then i ended up having a very weak immune system and eventually causing me to fall sick easily.. then worst is causing endometriosis which is the worst thing that could happen for teenagers.. I'm the best example.. |

U should drink more water also.. at least 2 litter per day.. increase ur metabolism rate..
Digital scale with fat analysis will be great.. so u know how much fat is in ur body.. If ur body got more % of fat, u will look fatter although u r not heavy.. cuz fat is lighter than muscle, if u understaad what i mean... |

i lose my weight about 10kg in 2 months.but need more discipline on food intake and exercise...i running on track and take my dinner at 6pm...it is a good practice in taking meals at that time-because your stomach need plenty time for digestion...lunch-i used to eat bread, milk and fruits...dinner time- i eat yong tau foo-add more on veggie less on meat....i am not a meat type as the fat of meat is more than chicken...if u exercise, it is ok for you to take meat as supplement to your losses during exercise...more important-drink more water, plain water and reduce the all high sugar's drink..to maintain the healthy skin, drink more soya...it is good...i do apply slimming cream-last time i use Mcwell slimming cream and it is good (highly recommend)...hehe...i apply it morning and evening-during exercise..it burn your fat...first you may feel dizzy due to the toxic all gone but after a few weeks-you'll be okay...now, i am going to target 5kg less...ehehheh....

i used to have low metabolism before this..how do i know?well i eat small amount of meal everytime, less sugar, less fat, more plain water etc but i still gain weight..so my doctor advise me to do take supplement cz she thinks im fat but i dun hv enuf of the everyday minerals and vitamins that leads me to fall sick a lot of time this year alone..before i take the vitamin supplement,i do detox first as per advise by the doctor..the reason y she asked me to do detox first is because our intestine may be filled with all those unwanted toxics that block away all the gud nutrients to be suck out of our intestine to be use by our body..i dun really know how to explain in biological terms but i hope u guys gt wut i meant..
anyways,i do detox with kinohimitsu peppermint tea and drink a lot of water for a week..if u only take the tea and u dun drink a lot of water,it wont work..cz water is a substance that will make ur body get rid of anything bad easily..and all the gud things absorb to ur body better..i really feel healthier jz by doing the detox alone..then after that i take my vitamin supplement and eat and exercise as usual..to my surprise,i lost almost 10kg in a month..and i haven't fall sick since then..now i hv my ideal weight of 42kg cz im only 148cm high..i feel gud..now i eat small potion but frequent..i do cardiovascular exercise each everyday so dat i wont get bored..i do skipping.cycling, swimming, jogging, play badminton.. |

My sister can lost 3 KG in a month.
What she did is never eat rice in that month, at least exercise half hour a day. Just that all and she did. Not so tough! |

For leg go gym is better...
If u apply slimming cream,it may works but its not permanent.. After U can slim down ur leg,go to build muscles(not over yah). If got muscles,ur leg wont easily get fat..The opinion is from slimming centre.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Picasa Album ![]() Korea Earring Korea Necklace Korea Bracelet **READY STOCKS** KOREA ACCESSORIES This post has been edited by Hungry Beauty: May 3 2009, 07:02 PM |

The best way to lose weight if u ask anyone is by doing exercise especially cardio like jogging, cycling and swimming. Cardio helps by burn out ur fats. By doing so, its also helps to toned ur body esp, buttock and thighs. Add up some workout and constant training for 3 weeks, for sure u can see the results. Not to forget, watch out for urs eating habits though (foodss are so gooddd.sighhh)

I do sit up 30x every night, take less rice but more vege and fruits. I also exercise every morning. My waist goes from 27-28" to 24" in less than a month. I am quite thin but with a big belly.

QUOTE(VelVetDreAmzZz^_^ @ Jun 21 2007, 06:49 PM) Exercise!! All you need to do is spend 30min everyday doing some sort of exercise. But for it to be effective, make sure you get your heart rate up! There are no shortcuts and certainly so special products out there they make you lose weight if you don't exercise. |

QUOTE(madeleine_1406 @ Aug 15 2012, 01:05 AM) i can only workout on every tuesday, fri, sat and sun.. and sometimes only 3 times per week or too lazy, twice per week. But I make it to a point at least 2 times per week, 1.5hours to 2 hours per day.anyhow, i started off by doing gillian michael's 30 days shred. did 2 months but i didn't really weigh myself that much. after 3 months, i came across insanity and did it. i almost die of out of breath. lol! it's so intense. anyhow, i pressed on. after a month of insanity, it's near my graduation's day.. and i feel myself more energetic, toned and old clothes seem to be a lot bigger on me. so, i decided to weigh myself. OH NO! i lost 10kgs! so happy! then my weight has been stagnant for few months.. though i feel myself leaner and toner, why is my weight not dropping. LOL! then, i incorporated weights lift with my cardio. 3 times weights lift per week. i do chalean's extreme. right now, my workout routine is like: tue - chalean's burn it off (it's a combination of cardio and muscle endurance workout) 40mins. then, rest for 10mins, move onto chalean's weights.. since i have started a month ago, this month is my 2nd month of her program (PUSH circuit). each phase comes with 3 circuits and every other day, i do different circuit and rotate among that 3 circuits for the phase for a month. PUSH circuit is about 30mins workout. then if i have time left, i will move onto either chalean's abs workout for 15mins or legs toner workout for 10mins. fri - any of insanity's cardio workout for 40mins. rest for 10mins, then move onto chalean's weights workout for 30mins. abs for 15mins, leg toner for 10mins. sat - insanity's cardio workout for 40mins and recovery workout, which is like yoga but they call it as flexibility workout for 20mins. if on fri, i can't do either abs or legs toner, i will add one of the workout in this day. sun - either insanity's cardio or chalean's burn it off workout. then add in chalean's weights lift for 30mins. so, yeah overall my workout routine for a week will incl cardio, muscle training (weights) and flexibility workout. each time, cardio will be different cardio and muscle training will be different groups of muscle training. just rotate different workout. so, recently i lost another 3 kgs.. but it's up and down.. weigh is very tricky especially when you are doing weights as when you increase your muscle mass, that will mean drop of % of fats; however muscle weighs more than fats. very confusing. so, if you are someone who stress a lot upon what you see on weighing machine, you'll get confused as well. haha! i feel that i am leaner and toner.. clothes are getting looser.. yet my weights still remain the same =.=;; but i like how my arms look like now.. with those muscle lines. Even more so since you are lifting weights. This post has been edited by oatkrunch: Sep 12 2012, 09:31 AM |

Guys/Ladies, one of the best weight loss method is weights training. Weights training allows you to increases your metabolic rate and recovers over the course of a few days compared to cardio which increases your metabolic rate and recovers within a few hours.
Coupled with a good meal plan, low carbs + low fat and high protein + fibre, it will turn your body into a fat burning machine. And NO, weights training will not give you huge disgusting muscles. Unless you're a cross-breed with horse genetics, ever notice how horses have huge muscles just eating grass? It takes a LOT of effort and to some extent processed supplements to get bulging muscles. I only work 2 days a week, and always less than 1 hour at the gym and only weight training. Lost 20kgs and went from waist size of 35 to 29.5 and have been able to keep off the fat. No miracle diet pills, no yo-yo weight loss, no ridiculous amount of time spent. Quickest gain was in the first couple months. Important points: 1. Weight training requires proper form, get a good trainer, otherwise you are not stimulating proper muscle recovery and hence inadequate spike in metabolic rate 2. Weight training requires proper intensity, don't do 1 set and rest for 5 minutes and call it quits after an hour, that is not a workout 3. Don't over eat, even if you have a good meal selection, at the end of the day if you eat more than you burn you will not lose weight. But you can eat a lot if you weight train properly. I eat 4-5 meals a day, mostly protein and fibre, low fat, low carb. Fat and carb can chew up your total caloric intake much faster and cause you to over eat. There is no such thing as spot reduction, i.e. targeted fat loss. Your body has its own preference as to where it will lose fat first, so everyone is different. It is in your genes unfortunately...This post has been edited by darun: Sep 28 2012, 02:45 PM |

Anyone manage to loss weight during MCO or CMCO in 2020? I managed to loss 16kg. Tips: avoid to eat rice, bread, noodles, oily foods, sugar contained food, plus jogging and weight exercise. Totally effective.

Intermittent fasting. Eat Less carb and cut down unnecessary sugar intake. Exercise like jogging and planks. More hardcore, go to gym and build muscles, because muscles will eat away the fats. If do not want to go to the gym, can do exercises that can build muscles at home. Eat more protein based food like chicken breast, eggs, etc for muscle. Be consistent and never give up. Losing weight in a healthy way takes time. Good luck and all the best!
