QUOTE("admin" @ Apr 4 2011, 06:06 PM) Unlike CIMB, HSBC kind of "stingy" with granting "high" credit limit. But I think it is like more than RM40K. Also having RM40K does not automatically grant you CIMB WMC or VI as CIMB will still check on your worthiness. QUOTE(ben83 @ Apr 4 2011, 08:11 PM) The rule probably changed now since HSBC already dropped their Plat income requirement. Maybe applicable to the new HSBC Signature instead Well, commencing this month, all HSBC Platinum Visa cardholders will be "upgraded" to HSBC Visa Signature.Click here to read my article HSBC Malaysia Visa Signature - Gone is the Visa Platinum. |

Between CIMB (normal line), Maybank (Amex line) and SCB (platinum line), i prefer dealing with CIMB customer care consultant. They seemed to be more well trained and efficient, imo.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 14 2011, 06:27 AM) CIMB cards only useful if we use it for their promotions, otherwise the reward points is only 1X AND now no more cash vouchers Actually, I find that with CIMB's Pay With Points which includes merchants such as KFC, DOME, MPH and 'Thai-Group-Restaurants', the loss of cash vouchers is no big deal. In fact, it is less of a hassle rather than having to wait for the vouchers to arrive.I think most of us can agree that even if we don't normally take fast food, we do buy KFC for our loved ones at some point in time...should not be to difficult for most of the seniors here (except tinkerbel if she has a CIMB CC) carrying CIMB/DA cards to deplete the points in this manner considering that it takes so long to accumulate points and at the same time, most of us would have switched to other cards as our primary one. As Gen-X said, only use if got promotion-lah such as the current 5% Kinokuniya books discount which ends on the last weekend of April 2011 (weekend being Fri, Sat & Sun). Speaking of which, I think I should buy some reference books even though I do most of my reading from the computer - can get some income tax relief. With MBBKard 2 in hand, I hardly use my DAMC anymore. Primary use of DAMC now is for BT and insurance premium (even for insurance, I think I'll be switching to Etiqa which accepts AMEX and time my purchases so that I can do a 0% 6 months BT). hahaha Anyway, CIMB has got a new reason for their 'Hamper-type' promo - this time, it is for Charles Berkeley's wallets (this brand I seriously haven't heard of, and mind you, even after Googling @Gen-X, since you're now a man of leisure, this shall be your latest research assignment hahaha - I'm sure it will make for an entertaining read This post has been edited by wshoh: Apr 15 2011, 05:54 PM |

Fyi, you can ask the outlet to check how many Bonus Points inside your card. And for payment, you need to swipe and the receipt which you have to sign will state the initial BP, used BP and the balanced BP. This post has been edited by Human Nature: Apr 17 2011, 10:27 PM |

just wondering.... I have applied for the Touch and Go Visa CIMB Card and it's been a year now.
I find that the card doesn't really give much benefit except for the Zing card (auto reload) is it possible to change the card to the petronas master card and still retain the Zing card? please advise ^^ |

CIMB/DA has given up to compete head-to-head with MBB/OCBC etc in the war of Cashback. One can easily observe that CIMB/DA changed their marketing strategy to aim high spending consumer group. From the promotion list you can see a lot of them are for VisaInf/WMC cardmembers only. But heaven knows when will CIMB wake up? LOL. |

Arguing with him served no purpose as he (and the other 2 CSs) kept on invoking their rights under the clz which provides the bank wide and unlimited discretion.Wrote a letter to BNM and financial bureau. Matter got sorted. The AVP called and converted it. The AVP admitted that the bank's fault. I got a free gift in return. Am happy, used RM35k for installment. applying the FD rate, 35*3%: RM1050 saving per year. Also the bonus point available... Wil use for all my remaining insurance next year. pls OCBC Tit card and MBB Dup (which i wil get soon) per year, the return on CC alone is RM2250 (RM1050+RM600*2) |

So I'm getting a Visa Signature soon. Other than the complimentary GSC tickets and 2 entries to Airport Lounge (which is so little), it seems got the below as well..
CIMB Premier Club Rewards - Enjoy privileged savings when you use your CIMB Visa Signature at any of our participating merchants. CIMB Bank Smart Rewards - Enjoy year-long discounts at over 500 dining, retail and lifestyle outlets bringing you privileges and benefits wherever you go. I want to know where can I find the list of 'participating merchants/restaurants instead of having to call them. Thanks. |

Direct Access is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIMB Group offering banking services through a virtual branch to graduates only whilst VISA Signature is a a credit card. Both CIMB Bank and Direct Access do offer VISA Signature. |

My DA card was not recognised by some merchants on a few occasions, although it rarely happened. I have never encountered such a problem. The only problem that I faced was that, I was teased and looked down by the SA who approached me for cc application.A approached me for CC application, showed A my DA Plat. A was very excited and told B that I got a Plat at my young age. B said, what a big deal, since DA only has Plat and not Gold. Felt like saying, mine is the Professional Partner and not the ordinary DA card. Even if it were, at least I am a degree holder. Not many can apply DA, lol. |

RM 80,000/annum, wow such a big leap from its previous RM 24,000/annum.
Surprisingly, if you Google you still can find the card from its website. https://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=da...c=2&tpt=cimb_da I just called the CS for some matters, forgot to ask him about this. Anyway, what I love about it, it's the CS, no hanky panky and straight to the point. Not forgetting effective! Maybank still has a lot to learn from them. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 21 2011, 08:58 PM) RM 80,000/annum, wow such a big leap from its previous RM 24,000/annum. Well said, 'straight to the point'.Surprisingly, if you Google you still can find the card from its website. https://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=da...c=2&tpt=cimb_da I just called the CS for some matters, forgot to ask him about this. Anyway, what I love about it, it's the CS, no hanky panky and straight to the point. Not forgetting effective! Maybank still has a lot to learn from them. I love that too! And the CS always keep their promise. I have very good impression with DA Card Centre. |

Guys, just want to get double confirmation from you guys. I just got petronas mastercard from CIMB. They also gave me a visa TnG but I didn't activate that one since I see no point in using two CC with one CL. And I didn't know I still have to pay Government Tax although I only activated the mastercard. Now I have to pay that first before I can close the Visa CC.
Anyways, the 20 days free interest rate period, that is calculated from the date of purchased or from the statement date? My statement is every 21st and I made payment for my Maxis bill sometime around 10th if I'm not mistaken. So in this case, the grace period is until 10th June or 31st May? Appreciate all the help. I got to run somewhere that's why I don't have the time to read the thread here. Thanks. |

There's a few cases whereby purchase via Apple Store Malaysia using CIMB credit card gets charged another 1%.
The reason was the company charging the card is Apple South Asia Pte Ltd (based in Singapore). The invoice is in RM. So beware !!! |

Good to know. What would be the difference to pay within grace period vs interest-free period?

QUOTE(mengsuan @ May 23 2011, 08:10 AM) No difference. The grace period as mentioned by chemistry is a Bank Negara ruling that all credit cards issuers are to give cardholders 3 days grace period after the Due Date. I guess this is to allow cheques to clear if a person banks in on the Due Date or allow couple days for interbank GiRO transfer.Forget about the grace period, just make sure you make payment on or by Due Date stated in the Statement. |

QUOTE(de.crystal @ May 7 2011, 12:35 PM) Arguing with him served no purpose as he (and the other 2 CSs) kept on invoking their rights under the clz which provides the bank wide and unlimited discretion. +1Wrote a letter to BNM and financial bureau. Matter got sorted. The AVP called and converted it. The AVP admitted that the bank's fault. I got a free gift in return. Am happy, used RM35k for installment. applying the FD rate, 35*3%: RM1050 saving per year. Also the bonus point available... Wil use for all my remaining insurance next year. pls OCBC Tit card and MBB Dup (which i wil get soon) per year, the return on CC alone is RM2250 (RM1050+RM600*2) I'm going to do the same for my iPad 2 purchase from Apple Online (for which I was charged extra) if they don't resolve it. |

According to some Dome outlets, VI or WMC holders can straight get a free coffee without any purchase. While some outlet said I need to at least order a drink or food to be entitled. There is also one occasion where the barista said I need to order a drink at least the same price level with the free coffee. So which one is right?

Having said that, to benefit most from CIMB, we need combination of both Visa and MasterCard where with the MC we get rebates on Sundays at KFC, burger King, Guardian and for groceries. For the April statement, the outstanding balance is RM1669.78. Before the duedate, I make RM1000 payment. When the statement for May came, the Finance charges is RM43.23 .. QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Jun 2 2011, 10:49 AM) World Mastercard and Visa Infinite is almost the same if I'm not mistaken. World Mastercard is entitled to Sunday Rebates and collect Bonus PointsI just received those two cards. Haven't use it yet. Visa Infinite has 1% rebate on overseas, 0.5% rebate on local, Buy 1, Free 1 GSC movie ticket Choices ... choices .... Their CIMB Card Centre CS mentions you need at least RM70K Credit Limit from other banks to be entitled for CIMB WMC, VI or VS This post has been edited by ronnie: Jun 2 2011, 11:08 AM |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 2 2011, 11:02 AM) World Mastercard is entitled to Sunday Rebates and collect Bonus Points Did you mentioned SCB or HSBC. Other cards yes but HSBC special case because they very stingy with CL. Visa Infinite has 1% rebate on overseas, 0.5% rebate on local, Buy 1, Free 1 GSC movie ticket Choices ... choices .... Their CIMB Card Centre CS mentions you need at least RM70K Credit Limit from other banks to be entitled for CIMB WMC, VI or VS The WMC Sunday rebate ending soon. VI - if you goto GSC then may be worthwhile. For my case, it is the benefits of the card that is good, not the above. If you buy liquor (XO in particular) or chocolates at Eraman, these cards can save you more than RM50. Go Tai Thong also get 15% discount (but recently they have many promotions that are like 50% off), but 2 months back had Free 1 for 1 abalone rice and the manager told me CIMB paid for the Free sets (we ordered 4 and CIMB paid for 4). World master is basically for golfer : Tee off at these exclusive golf courses without having to pay green fees ( reservation must be made in 7 working days advance ) Visa infinite is basically for Dining : u can see a list of restaurant that have privileges discount. this both World Master card and Visa Infinite must at least have others bank credit card credit limit more than 70K OR income more than RM200K per annum. meanwhile visa signature must at least have others bank credit card credit limit more than 30K or income more than RM100K per annum. |

OK superwoman, 2 questions for you. 1) in respect to the 2 Plaza Premium Lounges access with Vi and VS, what if I don't spend RM100K per annum, I don't get the free passes the following year? 2) Read somewhere that having CIMB Prime or Preferred account also grant us entry to Plaza Premium Lounge for free, Can you confirm this please. Thanks. |

superwomen, about the 0% smart flexi pay plan for education. Is it possible for CIMB management to disprove my application after i use my cc to pay my education fee? Because it does mention in the t&c that the approval is at the discretion of CIMB.
I just don't want to happen that after I sign with CIMB cc and got rejected for 0% flexi plan application. Then, this defects the purpose of using my CIMB cc to pay for my education fee. This post has been edited by ks98: Jun 3 2011, 04:55 PM |

Get to know that CIMB DA / CC is currently running on the Smart Flexi-Pay program. I was wondering anyone here tried using this service before ?
My car insurance will be expiring soon by next month, would it be nice if I could settle the payment with the CC one shot and apply for the flexi-pay plan ? |

For the first case, all your retail charge is interested free (until your next statement + ~14 days), so you don't have to bother it. In the latter case, bank will charge interest from the moment the amount is posted, so in order to save the interest, then you have to pay the current outstanding amount. So, since your Amount Overdue is zero, then you just need to pay the Statement Balance. |

A good way to know whether you still need to pay them before the statement due date is by looking the Minimum Amount, in this case after you have paid RM50, the Minimum Payment Amount should change back to 0, and that indicates you don't have to pay them anything until the next statement due date.

i think a more straight forward way will be:
1. If you can, pay the Statement Amount every month. So, you will not owe the bank any $$$. 2. Pay the minimum amount. But, the consequence will be no interest free for all your transaction. The interest will be calculated once it's posted/transacted (i'm not sure which one). This could burn a hole in your pocket. So, option 1 is always my preference and if i can't afford then i will stop charging to my CC. |

Normally, it takes 2 - 3 business days and they will call you if it's not approved. If they didn't call you, then it meant your request is approved by CIMB.Added on June 16, 2011, 10:26 am QUOTE(ks98 @ Jun 10 2011, 09:41 PM) collected my card and used it to pay for education fee... according to CS, I have to wait until the payment shown in my account then only can request to convert it to 0% Smart Flexi Plan... but, from their reply seems like as long as it's a genuine case, then the conversion should be no problem... QUOTE(pisces88 @ Jun 21 2011, 01:28 AM) but normal spendings still need to charge.. but still 2% for 10months considered cheap dy right? i dont think i saw other gold card with better rate.. Please get your fact right. You are not talking about Easy Installment, you are referring to conversion of your normal purchase to Easy Installment plan. All banks charge a percentage for this conversion if they do offer this program. The conversion is independent of whatever card you are holding ... it is valid so long you are a valid cardholder. Some people 0.5% already make noise and this is not a matter whether the interest is cheap or not. We over here do not encourage people to build their debt using credit card as this will lead to spending beyond their limit. Have money, pay all. |

I just wanted to know is there any (gold)cards you guys come across that offer less than the 2% (10months installment) that CIMB currently offers? |

Downloaded the Petronas CC application form from CIMB website and found there is no instruction on how/where to return it once completed.
Is going to the branch the only option here? |

actually, last time i apply my direct access is through email.
i download and print, then fill it up. once done, i scan everything, forms, ic, salary slip...etc. then email to their credit card marketing. after that, they will call u up and asking for some info and verification. done..! they will courier u the card in 1 week. no need to go any branch or meet any staff/agent. |

You can also pay using card points but minimum spending above RM20. |

There's a limitation for Citibank 1-1 at TGV. Capped at 4 tickets I think (meaning buy 2 get 2).
Better clarify with CIMB CS or GSC at the counter. This post has been edited by David83: Jul 2 2011, 12:02 AM |

http://creditcardsmalaysia.blogspot.com/20...e-transfer.html Noted that recently many banks jumping into the bandwagon offering ipad 2 and prize for contest. I received a high quality envelope from CIMB recently and inside more high quality paper where it try to make it feel as if we reading the ad from an ipad2. They were promoting signing of supp cards and chance to win iPad2. I tell you CIMB wasting money printing on these high quality paper and also contributing to cutting down of trees. |

QUOTE(celaw @ Jul 10 2011, 10:03 PM) It is disappointing that cardmembers can no longer apply new card by prompting existing credit card.Fortunately I have got what I want. However, if there are even better cards (than OCBC Ti & MBB2) coming out, I think I can only watch because I am most probably not eligible for the card. I am even not eligible to hold OCBC Ti and MBB2 cards as well. |

My CIMB Petronas Credit Card application was rejected. What a bummer >.< IDK why. i have RM30K pa income, already worked for 7 months for my first company, passed probation and permanent employee in MNC and if they looked through my statement -I transfer a lot of cash to my saving account. it not that I dont have money tho..
The day I went to CIMB mini branch Queensbay to apply for the card, I was entertained by an indian man (quite old actually). From my observation, he was so rush and clumsy -he never really checked my application. I intentionally left some unfilled data to check whether he really check or not. Gah -he missed it. so I quickly took back my form and filled in front of him. to think about it, MIGHT be some problem with the guy that leads to my unsuccessful application! I just need cc mainly for online transaction/purchasing/emergency that only limited to cc, not interested to take advantage on imaginary cash/purchasing power they offer. I prefer CIMB cash rebate over MBB2 treatpoint. But now seems like i have to apply for MBB2.. Anyone have similar problem? Can u show me some direction. |

QUOTE(chemistry @ Jul 10 2011, 07:27 PM) Yes, now is everyday 5%. I was at one of the KFC outlets the other day and they told me that I actually have to purchase above RM20 in order to use Credit Card ... ended up paying cash and without the 5% discount.I'd rather use my OCBC Titanium, same can get 5% cashback (on top of Annual Usage Bonus aka auto GST waiver). Also, does anybody know the status of the Sunday rebates? Did they renew it ? Otherwise, I'm plannign to cancel my CIMB card already. The only reason why I applied last time was for the Guardian and Tesco/Giant/Cold Storage rebates. |

I had dinner at Flying Chilles few weeks back and got the 15% discount with CIMB CC whereas CitiBank only gets 10%. Also used my CIMB reward points to offset the bill

I find this benefit attractive for those who frequently visit cinemas since they are offering a complimentary ticket of the same class. I'm only afraid if there are any other hidden T&C. Might consider changing Maybankard 2 Platinum to this since I would save quite a lot as well on movie tickets. |

Too bad to say that the complimentary ticket is limited to 1 ticket only per day per transaction. And it's not applicable for online, twin seat, 2D and 3D screening. Do remember, it's not buy 1 free 1. Here is the detail of T&C, http://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=43...k&tpt=cimb_bank Also, you need to tell the GSC before you made the purchase and show them the card. |

Sorry, have to make it large.
KLCC KFC does not accept CIMB credit card for 5% discount. Tested yesterday. Both KFC and CIMB take note. Edit: make it Big & Red. This post has been edited by cute_boboi: Jul 21 2011, 11:25 AM |

For Gold and Platinum cards, CIMB still need full documents from customers but for Premier cards application such as Visa Signature, Visa Infinite and World mastercard they can prompt card others bank. For examples : Visa Signature : Customers should hold at least others bank credit limit more than 30K (for one card) Visa Infinite & World mastercard : Customers should hold at least others bank credit limit more than 70K (for one card) BUT sometimes credit department might need extra document to support your application. |

I just checked CIMB rewards and I don't see much offered. For example, for 20000 points, there are only 2 pages of items. Is that all to it? This is for the Jul-Dec 2011 catalogue.
Are there more items to collected besides this? |

Hi, I cancelled by CIMB's card via phone. Latest statement show that my credit balance (RM 5, bank owe me) had been transferred off (I agreed to transferred off) and show zero balance. I did not received any statement after that, can this show that the card has been cancelled?

The only proof is, you have to write down the date, time, CS person name that you called in, and keep somewhere safe. When get questioned later, I always say, "I called in at dd/mm/yyyy at hh:mm time and talked to <CS Name>, and according to him/her, my CC is confirmed cancelled. Why is the bank still charging me RM50 GST ?" The CS will not ask further and within reasonable time, they will reply back, yes, it is canceled. |

I hold CIMA professional certificate
will that help? I'm earning far below the minimum RM100,000k for Visa signature or infinite. Just wondering if I could get those cards. My interest is only in their promotion and not the credit limit My other 2 cards have credit limit below RM10,000 each and my monthly income is <5k any luck or chance to get the card? oh ya, my credit report is clean as I pay promptly every month for all my cards. |

QUOTE(ck_tonny @ Jul 28 2011, 11:04 PM) You can find CPA Australia gold credit card offered by Alliance Bank. I think moyong's top concern is CIMB VISA PLATINUM's Complimentary GSC Ticket promo, not a credit card that shows his qualification.http://www.alliancebank.com.my/creditcards.html UOB do offer CIMA co-brand card but can't find in their website anymore. |

QUOTE(moyong @ Jul 29 2011, 11:35 AM) @chemistry: Ya, I'm just interested on the GSC ticket It's still not too late. You do the calculation. The card will cost you a GST RM50, which is equivalent to 4 tickets (say a ticket RM13). That means, if you watch 4 times movie, get 4 free tickets, earn back the GST already. (you will need to bring a friend, not watch movie alone) |

CIMB VS vs CIMB VI.
In term of the cards, I can see both giving almost the same benefit. The different is VS gives out points while VI gives out rebates. Which is better? Rebates or points? I just did some calculation. Normally 200 points = RM1. So if RM200 x 0.5% = RM1. Which mean if I'm right both cards are the same in terms of point/rebate benefit. Or am I missing something here? Surprisingly CIMB did accept my World and Infinite application eventhough I didn't meet the income requirement. Just that I had to submit a lot more documents (like a normal card application) instead of just the latest salary slip. Still worth it. Applied at Sunway Pyramid for the 1 hour approval and the staffs are very helpful. Special thanks to Ms Farah for helping ease out the application process.

Why would one want to pay extra to their credit card? I don't see any reason why. What my family members does is that we pay our credit cards on the last few days before the statement is due. Especially if the statement is due in the beginning of the month, we pay after the end of the month to get the interest in our saving account before paying the credit card bills off. But CIMB all due on the 31st I think. Whole point of having a credit card is to be able to make purchases on credit no? lol |

And to many people, they can delay paying their debts for long time by paying the minimal payment. I think you are mainly worried about using your credit card overseas? |

Maybank allow users to pay credit card statement through Maybank2u. Apart from that, which branch you guys visit to redeem the points? can we do some purchase and pay by points? This post has been edited by yingchai: Aug 31 2011, 12:12 PM |

Transfer fund to from your saving/current acc to your credit card acc. I think you can redeem points by calling their CS. Cimb has this pay-with-points thing to selected outlet. If your cards doesnt appear, perhaps you need to link it to your clicks first. Try contacting the CS to ask how to do so. |

QUOTE(shanelai @ Sep 3 2011, 11:23 AM) Reward Point will be cleared to zero after 3 years. OK, let say validity period start from now (Sep'11), expiry date should fall in Sep'14. All accumulated points (regardless of date of transaction) will expire in Sep'14. That means, even though you just used your card in Aug'14 and earned some 1,000 pts, this 1,000 pts will stil expire in next month. |

My suggestion is to redeem the points as you go because the products offered may be removed (eg shopping vouchers) or require higher points (due to inflation).

Anyone holding VI and/or WM tried changing the statement date before? I tried to change to a date near my salary date but they don't allowed it. She said only one date with such card and that would be on the 11th every month.

Direct Access will be discontinued by end of the year. Those having current account at Direct Access will be migrated to CIMB Preferred while credit card from DA will be changed to VI/WM upon expiry of the anniversary date of the credit card. They are doing in stages till end of the year. My C/A has migrated to CIMB Preferred already.

I believe you must have a certain amount in your DA current account in order to entitle the Preferred banking migration. Otherwise it would be seriously unfair for existing CIMB current or Prime account holders, which is not Preferred banking. |

I have checked with them too whether I need to maintain RM200K (which I do not have) as the pre-requisite for opening of a CIMB Preferred a/c. They said just for this DA migration, no need to maintain, conditions are the same as previously enjoyed in DA.I think they will review each DA a/c before assigning which a/c to be migrated to. I also noticed that a lot of DA credit card holders do not know that they can actually open a Current A/C under DA which give better interest than the normal CIMB C/A |

Yes because CIMB wants to discontinue DA so eventually all DA a/cs and c/c will be converted to CIMB.I think they have certain conditions that need to be met depending on your credibility with the CIMB.They might migrate yours to equivalent CIMB gold card or upgrade to VI/WM. QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 22 2011, 10:29 AM) Yes, you will be asked which branch you want the a/c be opened. For eg if you are offerred to migrate to CIMB Preferred, you should open at the branch that has CIMB preferred (mind you not all branches have CIMB Preferred). You will then be assigned a RM (Relationship Mgr) He/she will do the migration for you at your preferred branch and you just need to go to that branch to collect your cheque book a week after the a/c has been migrated.Added on September 22, 2011, 10:40 am QUOTE(ben83 @ Sep 22 2011, 10:32 AM) I just checked with CIMB, yes such upgrade process is under way but is only for selected DA customers & not everyone. QUOTE(ronnie @ Sep 22 2011, 10:42 AM) for my c/c not migrate yet, continue to use DA plat until they send another letter to inform me of the changeAdded on September 22, 2011, 10:52 am QUOTE(J-Slade @ Sep 22 2011, 10:42 AM) Not for everyone? Then what happens to those who are not included? Or you are referring to the migration to CIMB preferred? I think better ask CS in DA on this. because the earlier info was given to me when RM from CIMB Preferred called me of the migration. This post has been edited by rayng18: Sep 22 2011, 10:52 AM |

The migration only applicable to DA current a/c. DA will still retain its credit card division.

Wow, I wish it's real ! So I can expect my DA Plat converted to CIMB VS !
If things turn out to be CIMB Plat, I think I'd cancel it. |

Guess I will cancel this card soon since not much usage besides using it to pump Petronas and the rebates are pretty low. A month of RM300 - RM400 usage only manage to get a rebate of RM4 - RM8.

What i like about cimb cc
1. NO annual fee 2. up to 15% discount at Eraman. If you dont know what is Eraman, you can get super cheap price for liquor, cigar and chocolate. i bought a lot of liquor and chocolate whenever i visit Eraman 3. 0% BT 4. lots of promotion and discount What i dont like 1. No option for E statement. For those who apply 10 BT, you will receive 10 paper statements |

As for me, the main attraction of CIMB/DA cards is the 0% BT only. I have yet to receive any notification from CIMB about the change of my DA VI to CIMB version. I wonder how CIMB would conduct this massive change, especially when a lot of DA customers are currently having BT. The transfer to CIMB would imply a new card number.

I got discounts for Liquor and Fragrance, but I think the T&C specifically says not applicable for cigarettes.
Perhaps cigar is different. |

I called up the card centre to cancel my credit card this morning. The customer service told me that my card is blocked immediately, but I wasn't given any service ticket no for reference.
How do I ensure my card is properly cancelled? |
