Actually, I find that with CIMB's Pay With Points which includes merchants such as
KFC, the loss of cash vouchers is no big deal. In fact, it is less of a hassle rather than having to wait for the vouchers to arrive. I think most of us can agree that even if we don't normally take fast food, we do buy KFC for our loved ones at some point in time...should not be to difficult for most of the seniors here (except tinkerbel if she has a CIMB CC) carrying CIMB/DA cards to deplete the points in this manner considering that it takes so long to accumulate points and at the same time, most of us would have switched to other cards as our primary one.
With MBBKard 2, I hardly use my DAMC. Primary use now is for BT and insurance premium (even for insurance, I think I'll be switching to Etiqa which accepts AMEX and time my purchases to do a 0% 6 months BT). hahaha

Anyway, CIMB has got a new reason for their 'Hamper-type' promo - this time, it is for Charles Berkeley's wallets (this brand I seriously haven't heard of @Gen-X, do some research and share with us

) and Mendoza luggage (this brand I have heard of) (
Be a Fashionista at Suria KLCC, with CIMB...they do seem to be ramping up their promotions recently. I managed to get the Christmas 2010 and CNY 2011 hampers :] The hamper value is actually not bad, you do get at minimum 5% equivalent cash back (too lazy to do a proper calculation though).
TS, if you still around, add WMC, VI, Platinum and Gold to sub-title of this thread and make this official CIMB CC Thread.
