Hi guys, sorry for d noob question. Is there posibility for the CIMB Visa Signature cannot be used in overseas since CIMB is considered not well known bank like HSBC, Citibank n ect...
I applied for this card but afraid it cannot be used in US eventhough it has VISA logo there.

What is the min CL in other CC to apply for this signature? 33k ok? Visa Infinite need 30k from HSBC, 70k other card and 50k citibank

how come 30k entitle for VISA infinite?

The rule probably changed now since HSBC already dropped their Plat income requirement. Maybe applicable to the new HSBC Signature instead

Actually, I find that with CIMB's Pay With Points which includes merchants such as KFC, the loss of cash vouchers is no big deal. In fact, it is less of a hassle rather than having to wait for the vouchers to arrive. I think most of us can agree that even if we don't normally take fast food, we do buy KFC for our loved ones at some point in time...should not be to difficult for most of the seniors here (except tinkerbel if she has a CIMB CC) carrying CIMB/DA cards to deplete the points in this manner considering that it takes so long to accumulate points and at the same time, most of us would have switched to other cards as our primary one.

With MBBKard 2, I hardly use my DAMC. Primary use now is for BT and insurance premium (even for insurance, I think I'll be switching to Etiqa which accepts AMEX and time my purchases to do a 0% 6 months BT). hahaha

Anyway, CIMB has got a new reason for their 'Hamper-type' promo - this time, it is for Charles Berkeley's wallets (this brand I seriously haven't heard of @Gen-X, do some research and share with us ) and Mendoza luggage (this brand I have heard of) (Be a Fashionista at Suria KLCC, with CIMB...they do seem to be ramping up their promotions recently. I managed to get the Christmas 2010 and CNY 2011 hampers :] The hamper value is actually not bad, you do get at minimum 5% equivalent cash back (too lazy to do a proper calculation though).

just wondering.... I have applied for the Touch and Go Visa CIMB Card and it's been a year now.

I find that the card doesn't really give much benefit except for the Zing card (auto reload)

is it possible to change the card to the petronas master card and still retain the Zing card?

Been using Visa Signature for few months, and I find this card dont giving me any benefits except for the buy 1 free 1 gsc cinema ticket.

According to some Dome outlets, VI or WMC holders can straight get a free coffee without any purchase. While some outlet said I need to at least order a drink or food to be entitled. There is also one occasion where the barista said I need to order a drink at least the same price level with the free coffee. So which one is right?
