RM 80,000/annum, wow such a big leap from its previous RM 24,000/annum. smile.gif
Surprisingly, if you Google you still can find the card from its website. smile.gif

I just called the CS for some matters, forgot to ask him about this. laugh.gif

Anyway, what I love about it, it's the CS, no hanky panky and straight to the point. Not forgetting effective! Maybank still has a lot to learn from them. smile.gif

so now if want to apply da for graduate that have annual income of 24000,thats mean he cannot apply da d since the requirement jump from 24000 to 80000?da no more open to fresh grad?
*
I'm not so sure as I got mine last year, I don't think any fresh grad (not self-employed) can get such a high salary with their first employment. sweat.gif

Well said, 'straight to the point'.
I love that too! And the CS always keep their promise. I have very good impression with DA Card Centre.
*
Yes, that's the point. They are really good and efficient, keep to their promise and deliver according to customers' needs. I'm really happy with them. smile.gif
Unlike Maybank CS which gave me a hard time. shakehead.gif

superwomen, about the 0% smart flexi pay plan for education. Is it possible for CIMB management to disprove my application after i use my cc to pay my education fee? Because it does mention in the t&c that the approval is at the discretion of CIMB.

I just don't want to happen that after I sign with CIMB cc and got rejected for 0% flexi plan application. Then, this defects the purpose of using my CIMB cc to pay for my education fee.
*
I use my CIMB DA for i-Pay Plan, none of my transactions was failed. Everything went through well, they are usually quite OK one. smile.gif

he is talking about Smart Plan 0% interest for Education, Insurance and Hospital Bills. If you read previous posts, CIMB rejected a member's Insurance Smart Plan.

And ks98, I doubt superwoman can answer your question since it is up to higher level or different dept to approve or reject or application. Why don't you call CS and ask but I think it should be approve if it is a genuine case.
*
I understood. I doubt CS will know which one will be approve and which will be rejected. hmm.gif

for installment plan, better find a merchant that offer 0% plan. i think most of the local bank cimb, mbb or pbb do offer that.
*
Usually these merchants are expensive.

I go for 2% 10 months installment on CIMB DA, can convert any cheap purchase from any merchant. tongue.gif rclxms.gif

We actually prefer a CIMB card built-in with 5% Sunday rebates ;-)

Very much agreed, put in the AMEX Maybankard 2 Card's rebate. tongue.gif

I had KFC meal for lunch today. Apparently 5% discount on the spot using CIMB credit card for payment!

You can also pay using card points but minimum spending above RM20.
*
Yes but unfortunately most of the outlets don't accept credit card.
Not sure if they are busy, ignorant or the machines really spoil all the time. whistling.gif

Why don't you save IBG cost by depositing into CIMB CDM in KL Sentral ?
*
Haha. Lazy to withdraw money and put in the CDM. tongue.gif
Plus it has few cents. laugh.gif

Never have the chance to use it in KFC due to these two factors that I'm facing with:

1) The service at KFC (KL Sentral especially) is extremely bad and hence the queue is super long most of the time. It basically demotivates me to dining there. In the end chose McD's. Oh yeah, maybe next time can choose BK instead, didn't know it has promotion for BK. tongue.gif

2) Most of the time, I'm not sure for convenience purpose or I'm simply that unlucky, the staffs will tell me the terminal are out of service. doh.gif

1. kl sentral confirmed cannot use card doh.gif

i remember i went there on 3/10 morning to bfast, cannot use, then i said to them if cannot use card then put la cash only sign!
i went later on 13/10 saw they put the sign already laugh.gif
but, i went to cashier that dont have cash only sign, and on my turn, i said want to use cimb for 5%
the cashier said cannot use card. i said this cashier dont have cash only sign so should be can use card lah!
the cashier ask for supervisor there (differet shirt color) and the supervisor said just pay the amount no need tax  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
and, my other 7 colleagues next also did the same thing! haha
*
Hey, thanks for the info. So, now it confirms my finding. tongue.gif
The problem is I want to use my card and I don't want to argue with them every time, as you know how long the queue is in KL Sentral and how slow is their service.
I'm afraid this will irritate the other patrons who are queuing behind me. tongue.gif

hi guys,

this card (CIMB visa signature) needs annual rm100k according to the website so salary need at least rm10k per month right?
*
Divide by 12, that's the figure... smile.gif Less than 10k la.

I'm still waiting for my DA to be converted to Platinum. biggrin.gif

Er, it used to have Direct Access Gold Card, I got that... Then, it is no longer available now and those existing users will be switched to Platinum.

I just started working, not yet Platinum. laugh.gif

I'm going to kill my DA too, once I get my OCBC Ti.

Yesterday was dining at Amarin Heavenly Thai at MV, thought of using my *AmEx for 5xTP but when I was about to take out my CC, the guy said 15% discount will be given for CIMB CC.

Quickly changed it to my DA. laugh.gif
At least something. tongue.gif
Anyway, will cancel my DA before anniversary.

*I'm not sure if AmEx is accepted but I think it does.
