Agree hsbc stingy will limit. Few years with them myself, limit 20k
And this credit limit is for HSBC Gold or HSBC Platinum ? I mean what is the card you're holding now. HSBC Gold or Platinum ?

By the way, this is a CIMB Bank VISA Signature thread. You shouldn't have posted here.

I was wondering whether does the CIMB Smart Drivers Gold Card will be eligible for the Credit Card promotion that is available on the CIMB website ?
Yes. It does.

On the offers, go read the terms and conditions. Sunday 5% rebate applicable to MasterCard only.

And as for the 5% on 1st of the month, yah, that is right, you get RM4 for RM80 petrol according to CIMB webpage.

Oh right ! I forgot that CIMB promotions are always card brand specific.

@pocketcctv, your card is a VISA or MasterCard ? Most CIMB promotions are applicable only to MasterCard.

Direct Access and this Visa Signature. What's the difference?
Very different. Direct Access is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIMB Group offering banking services through a virtual branch to graduates only whilst VISA Signature is a a credit card. Both CIMB Bank and Direct Access do offer VISA Signature.

Bangsar Jalan Telawi, Ampang Great Eastern and easiest at The Gardens Mid Valley. Try the Tiramisu but my favorite is the Palova.
Ah ... The Gardens definitely is more convenient. Thanks mate biggrin.gif

cant agree more.  rclxms.gif
I only "pay extra" when I pay by machine as they only accept round figure, 10, 50.  5 also got if not mistaken.
I believe only AMBank cash deposit machines accept RM5 note.

What are you talking about ? You can apply for a classic credit card and you only need to earn RM24,000/pa.

It's still there. Just click on CIMB Bank Credit Card.

If you're a CIMB Preferred Banking customer, i believe they can issue one to you using just your account overseas (SG, Thailand or Indonesia) as reference. However, if you are not, then you will need to submit your income documents.
