KLCC KFC does not accept CIMB credit card for 5% discount. Tested yesterday.


Both KFC and CIMB take note.

The only proof is, you have to write down the date, time, CS person name that you called in, and keep somewhere safe.

When get questioned later, I always say, "I called in at dd/mm/yyyy at hh:mm time and talked to <CS Name>, and according to him/her, my CC is confirmed cancelled. Why is the bank still charging me RM50 GST ?"

The CS will not ask further and within reasonable time, they will reply back, yes, it is canceled.

Also, just to ask, if the overseas CIMB CC, is principal or supplementary ?

Just to repeat, my last visit to KLCC KFC (at the new location) couple of weeks ago, their CC terminal still have no telco line yet, as they claimed KLCC building management has not set it up yet (with telco).


Even their KFC Customer Service also washed their hands and say nothing can be done.

What can CIMB do ? CIMB outlet is just next to KLCC KFC

Give to people, yes. But the Lounge reception says the person must show his/her CIMB Signature card.

Also, with 2x voucher, cannot bring in a guest, unless the guest also has CIMB Signature card.
