A good way to know whether you still need to pay them before the statement due date is by looking the Minimum Amount, in this case after you have paid RM50, the Minimum Payment Amount should change back to 0, and that indicates you don't have to pay them anything until the next statement due date.

hi, I am a new member here, I just recently got my CIMB Visa infinite card, noted the buy 1 free 1 GSC tickets condition as below,

-Complimentary Movie Ticket - Enjoy a complimentary movie ticket of the same class - Gold, Premiere, or Normal Class, with any purchase of movie tickets with your CIMB Visa Signature card at any Golden Screen Cinemas nationwide

from the above quote it does not states the number of ticket we can entitle for, anyone knows is there any capped ? as in maximun we can get ? if buy more than 1 like 4 can we also get 4 free tickets? appreciates for reply

If I'm not mistaken, its one free complimentary ticket per transaction, so if you buy 1,2 or 10 tickets in one transaction, they will still only give you 1 free ticket.

Not sure if they'll let you separate it into 4 different transactions to get 4 free tickets though smile.gif

CIMB VS vs CIMB VI.

In term of the cards, I can see both giving almost the same benefit. The different is VS gives out points while VI gives out rebates. Which is better? Rebates or points?

I just did some calculation. Normally 200 points = RM1. So if RM200 x 0.5% = RM1. Which mean if I'm right both cards are the same in terms of point/rebate benefit. Or am I missing something here?

VI gets some additional fine dining promotions, like the 50% off dining in some hotels that VS isn't eligible for.

I got discounts for Liquor and Fragrance, but I think the T&C specifically says not applicable for cigarettes.

Perhaps cigar is different.

So sad.... hard to earn the 10000 Bonus Points from CIMB/DA CC usage....
Lucky for me... I've earned more than enough $$$, from their CIMB BT 0% 6-month program, to cover this RM50  thumbup.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  brows.gif

Can you elaborate? Do you mean if you do a BT to CIMB you'll get points as well?

No, that is not what he meant. What he means is that he earned money indirectly by utilizing CIMB BT which is like 0% loan. read this thread to learn how you also can earn pocket money from BT.

Ah ok thanks, nice to learn smile.gif

Or need to 2x voucher ?  hmm.gif

You'll get 2x voucher, probably even better than using the card since you can transfer it around smile.gif

I'm using their visa signature previously apply coz of their free movie ticket buy1 free 1 then now they changed the offer to their debit card and this card become crap. About their lounge bahh not priority lounge worldwide my ct premier miles can cover that and their boasting hotelclub promo, bahh gimmick too.
Agoda had a better deal.

About BT , I have PB bank

The HotelClub promo does have some cheaper bookings but usually only about 5-10% cheaper compared to Agoda even after MBB discount.

Besides, CT Premier Miles is also entitled to the same promo.

Was it mentioned in T&C that First-come-first-serve based on date&time and not just date? Based on transaction date or posted date?
*
Seems the T&C link got taken down or is being updated.

It was just specified transaction date and no mention of time, quite risky since it means that possibly everyone that spends on the first day is qualified and the tie breaker kicks in by spending amount instead of spending time.

Maybe they're updating it, or not .. hmm.gif
