question,

i have applied the cimb rebate platinum hrough rakuten to enjoy rm 200 rakuten point. i want to ask that at faq there is a additional cash rebate. how it work. john have received his statemnt(dated 28 july) has a total of rm 30 and posted as CASH REBATE. so that, john is entitled for rm 20 for additional cash rebate and posted as additonal cash rebate in following month.

i want to spend rm100 to get rm20 additional rebate by buying MAS ticket(20 percent discount). so i need to buy it before 28july or after 28 july to get this rm 20 additional cash rebate?

you noticed in the T&C, the rebate table is confusing (error?). not sure if the total rebate is correct amount.

Cimb cash rebate card t&c quite confuse, they use merchant code instead of name to classify rebate categories, i wish to ask following question
1- for petrol, is there any petrol station not eligible for 2%, i mostly use caltex or shell
2- for grocery, is giant , aeonbig, tesco and jusco all included?
3- which of the e-commerce is eligible? Agoda? Online hotel booking? noted most of you are unable to obtain this 5 % due to wrongly classification of merchant code

Quite tricky for cimb setting rebate using merchant code, my cimb agent friend give me instant cash rebate for him to hit target, thats's i have this card, thinking cut this card before next gst due

i can only answer for number 3 since I used it, so far paypal, skytrex, agoda, asos, groupon etc all qualify for the 5% rebate

most ppl who booked the airlines were the ones who couldn't get their 20% rebate

Anyone else got a call from CIMB marketing pipul regarding using their CC to take out cash advance for an interest rate of 3.99 or 4.99% per annum.....can't remember. Conversation was cut short as line was dropped so I couldn't ask some question.
