i have charged RM35k to my cc as insurance (including my parents) and converted it to instalment.
the bank now demands me to send them the policy apparently only the card owner is entited to enjoy 0% instalment..
sigh
*
why is this?
I paid my parents' insurance premium and requested to convert to 0% 10month installment, the bank didn't ask a single question.

Why don't CIMB/DA come out with an equal (or better) Cash-Back CC to rival OCBC Titanium & Maybankard2 ???
*
CIMB/DA has given up to compete head-to-head with MBB/OCBC etc in the war of Cashback. One can easily observe that CIMB/DA changed their marketing strategy to aim high spending consumer group. From the promotion list you can see a lot of them are for VisaInf/WMC cardmembers only.

But heaven knows when will CIMB wake up? LOL.

it is silent.  apparently, 0% is up to the management's approval. SA confirm that it is only for the card owner.
*
when he said 'only for the card owner', ask him to show you the applicable clause in the T&C. Don't let CS fool you.

Anyone, anywhere to check on deals for CIMB MasterCard? biggrin.gif
*
they don't organize the promo by card type. You just have to go through all d promos one by one, and see which one applies to your card.

The link is available at CIMB BANK homepage, in the name of ALL PROMOTIONS.

RM 80,000/annum, wow such a big leap from its previous RM 24,000/annum. smile.gif
Surprisingly, if you Google you still can find the card from its website. smile.gif

https://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=da...c=2&tpt=cimb_da

I just called the CS for some matters, forgot to ask him about this. laugh.gif

Anyway, what I love about it, it's the CS, no hanky panky and straight to the point. Not forgetting effective! Maybank still has a lot to learn from them. smile.gif
*
Well said, 'straight to the point'.
I love that too! And the CS always keep their promise. I have very good impression with DA Card Centre.

From what I observe from my own usage, the 20 days grace period is calculated from the statement date. The statement also shows a due date, which is the expiry of 20 days grace period.
*
That 20-day is interest-free period. The actual grace period is 3 days.

Dear Superwoman,

Could you please feedback to your management, many cardmembers wish CIMB revises its Sunday rebate become Weekend Rebates (like before), or better still, Daily Rebates.

Thank you.

Now no more DA cc for  graduates who earn 24k per annum.

Those who graduated from certain local universities are still eligible for certain DA cards.
For example:
1. Doctors graduated from USM
2. Universiti Malaya graduates
3. Universiti Putra Malaysia graduates
4. Universiti Sains Malaysia graduates
5. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia graduates
6. Universiti Tun Hussein Onn graduates

Previous promo with KFC was 10% cashback, now become 5% discount on-the-spot.

Yes, now is everyday 5%.
I'd rather use my OCBC Titanium, same can get 5% cashback (on top of Annual Usage Bonus aka auto GST waiver).

But I had been rejected by OCBC, now I just have DA and MBB2 cards... haha..
*
It is disappointing that cardmembers can no longer apply new card by prompting existing credit card.
Fortunately I have got what I want. However, if there are even better cards (than OCBC Ti & MBB2) coming out, I think I can only watch because I am most probably not eligible for the card. I am even not eligible to hold OCBC Ti and MBB2 cards as well.

Oh they offered application processing over the email? How long would it take to get the card?
*
I applied for CIMB supplementary card via email. Card arrived in 5 working days.
However, you as a fresh applicant, can expect longer processing time, perhaps 10 working days.

Please be informed that only CIMB VISA PLATINUM (and above) is entitled to the promo. Remember, it's a Visa, not Mastercard.
I'm unable to answer the second question. But I think supp cardholder should be able to view trxn in Clicks.

Too bad to say that the complimentary ticket is limited to 1 ticket only per day per transaction. And it's not applicable for online, twin seat, 2D and 3D screening. Do remember, it's not buy 1 free 1.

Here is the detail of T&C, http://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=43...k&tpt=cimb_bank

Also, you need to tell the GSC before you made the purchase and show them the card.
*
I suppose you didn't read T&C and straight away go to GSC.
What you mentioned (in bold), many CIMB cardmembers here already knew.
