What is the min CL in other CC to apply for this signature? 33k ok? Visa Infinite need 30k from HSBC, 70k other card and 50k citibank
*
The rule probably changed now since HSBC already dropped their Plat income requirement. Maybe applicable to the new HSBC Signature instead

According to some Dome outlets, VI or WMC holders can straight get a free coffee without any purchase. While some outlet said I need to at least order a drink or food to be entitled. There is also one occasion where the barista said I need to order a drink at least the same price level with the free coffee. So which one is right?

yes you are. but actually you can pay your GST with your bonus point. every RM1 spending : 1 bonus point.

World master is basically for golfer : Tee off at these exclusive golf courses without having to pay green fees ( reservation must be made in 7 working days advance )

Visa infinite is basically for Dining : u can see a list of restaurant that have privileges discount.

this both World Master card and Visa Infinite must at least have others bank credit card credit limit more than 70K OR income more than RM200K per annum.

meanwhile

visa signature must at least have others bank credit card credit limit more than 30K or income more than RM100K per annum.

I would like to comment that WMC also has the same dining privileges as the VI.

Did they waive the RM50 GST when you applied for the CC at their center ?
*
CIMB never waive their GST though.

I tried to check with the permanent CIMB counter from sunway pyramid, they told me citibank and hsbc abit special which I able to apply for VS although citibank CL only 20k and if CL is 30k you can apply for World master card. Is that mean we can apply VS without any documents including payslip, EA ? Izzit nessasary to have 100k per annum too?
*
I highly doubt RM 30k CL from Citibank cc alone can get the CIMB WMC. Previously only HSBC holders got such exclusion.

I have no problem changing the cc statement date, except for the separate balance transfer account.

Direct Access will be discontinued by end of the year. Those having current account at Direct Access will be migrated to CIMB Preferred while credit card from DA will be changed to VI/WM upon expiry of the anniversary date of the credit card. They are doing in stages till end of the year. My C/A has migrated to CIMB Preferred already.
*
I believe you must have a certain amount in your DA current account in order to entitle the Preferred banking migration. Otherwise it would be seriously unfair for existing CIMB current or Prime account holders, which is not Preferred banking.

Not really. I have checked with them too whether I need to maintain RM200K (which I do not have) as the pre-requisite for opening of a CIMB Preferred a/c. They said just for this DA migration, no need to maintain, conditions are the same as previously enjoyed in DA.

I think they will review each DA a/c before assigning which a/c to be migrated to.

I also noticed that a lot of DA credit card holders do not know that they can actually open a Current A/C under DA which give better interest than the normal CIMB C/A
*
I just checked with CIMB, yes such upgrade process is under way but is only for selected DA customers & not everyone.

Not for everyone? Then what happens to those who are not included? Or you are referring to the migration to CIMB preferred?
*
Yes I am referring to migration to CIMB Preferred, so those not entitled will be either getting Prime or regular current account

Yes CIMB really needs to buck up. The service had dwindled a lot. Just experienced that a mere additional Plat cc application for an existing WMC/VI user takes more than 1.5 weeks now & still counting.

when your last call with cs?
Yesterday was my last complaint call to CIMB Plat CS & even the line manager on duty. Total calls to rush for the issuance of this cc since Monday (19/12) no less than 4 times. I already urged the manager on duty to bring this case up to Ms. Jeniffer (apparently one of higher level manager, which previously handled one of my other complaint before) or the higher management, otherwise I will be shooting an email to Ms. Jean Yap myself.

As comparison with MBB Premier CS, a single call of complaint is suffice. The cc issuance & delivery (office boy from Menara MBB send the cc to me when I am dining in restaurant) done on the same day of the complaint.

Ms. Jeniffer called this morning only to offer apology & said will do better next time (this is the 2nd occassion telling me the same thing). When I said to cancel my application for this particular cc, she did not even bother to offer to do something extra for the customer (eg. try to get cc approved & delivered immediately today). Seriously, my hope & praise for CIMB is totally gone after this case. Sorry CIMB, you are only good for BT & nothing else.

Probably as GenX said before CIMB had too many Premier customers as compared to Maybank, therefore the service level is very different.

Yah, like rockefeller informed us, there are like 60,000 CIMB WMC and VI holders which is not far behind MBB's 80,000 Plat card holders. Imagine how is CIMB going to provide premium service to 60,000 cardholders that do not need to pay a sen for their services.

Bro, anything that is FREE, don't expect the service to be excellent. But if you had applied for the VS instead of the Plat at their card centres, you would on the other hand be happy with their one day service.
*
I already had their complete Premier cc armada. Looks like CIMB do not value such customer & by the way I am not expecting excellent services but at least good service.

You mean CIMB? Only the BT service impressed me, they can do it in less than 5 working days.

Maybe yours not the Premier customer .... so need to use standard SLA

Maybe you should read on my earlier replies. I have the whole range of CIMB Premier cc on hand, in other words existing Premier customer.

That shows the SLA works for New-To-Bank Premier CC applicants only...  brows.gif

Again I have to say, I have no problem getting my additional VI & VS on the same day of application before this. So it is not whether new customer or not, Premier or not, usage high or not, but lousy CIMB CS management & extreme red tapes in the cc approval department.

Just to add, the CS & manager on duty does not show any sense of urgency despite my 5 calls to CS in a period of 5 working days. Even in the end, the higher management did called up but still won't do anything to escalate the service level.
