I just called BS, they confirm my model but said currently no stock for ip6 64gb grey!. Only got gold. The 16 BG all got stock. Have to wait for apple to update stock...

been tried pre-order since 31/10, the website timeout for few days. finally can login to the stores and the model is available but the collection slots was full.
i don't want to opted for delivery cause i want to get it on the first day so i wait to purchase it on 6/11 at maxis centre. on 6/11, i went to maxis centre KLCC on 8:30am (I admit im abit late) they staff told me all sold out except 16GB models, my fren at TTDI told me maxis centre there is still available, so i rush to there but end up i was late too. Reached there and queue up but when there's 4-5 ppl in front of me, the stock left same with KLCC (only 16GB available), disappointed. then i asked them is there any nearest maxis centre around and they told me eCurve. I went to eCurve and there also the same. End up I bought my iphone 6 64GB GOLD at EPI Centre eCurve (Last unit for this model in their shop). been supported maxis since iphone 3G / 4 / 4S / 5, this is the first time i bought iphone other than maxis. going to downgrade my current plan soon. |

Just refunded my 31st 7am preorder lol. As whole day waited still no tracking number. So headed to maxis klcc and got one within 20 mins waiting time.

I bought an iPhone 5S last year in mid Nov via Maxis with 1 year contract. After mid Nov when my contract expires, can I purchase another iPhone 6 at contract price if I wanna opt for another year of contract?

If u guys still remember last year 5S pre order (MOC only), the email were sent out by batch. I manage book a gold color for my dad. But when my email reached, gold no stock.
Then I complain to Maxis CS and scold them as I wish. I even tell them I don't mind pay the penalty and port to celcom. The end their higher management speaks to me and finally give me 2 months monthly bill rebate (iValue 3). Just called MOS, they told me the diff between the order ID MOS & DDF.
As you know, those order made by phone will be under DDF, and MOS for online order. The CS told me that, DDF is order made directly to Maxis supplier, where by MOS is made thru Maxis. Can anyone tell us why there are 2 types of order??? |

I just received a faulty iPhone 6 Plus, that can't be charged for some reason what so ever. Can't ask for one to one exchange with a new unsealed unit since this one has been opened already :/

Apple has a policy to exchange for a new unit if its DOA and I think Maxis has to follow Apple policy before they can sell their products? |

Its a standard procedure for each delivery to have certain percentage (can't remember) are replacement units because faulty phones sure got for such big shipment. And simple common sense tell you if you are Apple, wouldn't it be easier to minimize the hassle of changing only the phone part instead of the whole box, manual, EarPods charger etc. thats why the replacement packaging is minimal to reduce friction. I queued since Ip5. Reached there 7pm. Was the earlier 30 I guess. Knew there was limited stock but was surprised that can buy outright for the 2nd phone. By the time I went home at 2am, a lot people can't get the phone by its colour or size then before sun rise, stock out. I skipped 5s on launching. But my experience told me, if you want to get the phone fast (not dark side), u must choose the guaranteed route. For this year launch is self collection as no guarantee on midnight express. Didn't get to order in the midnight crazy rush. Left my phone no at the website. After work on the same day, 31st at 11 pm, try luck. Surprise can prepare order, payment all OK self collection as well. Otherwise might not order. Next noon, phone call rejected cause ordered. Following day, same thing rejected. Then come the system bug. Self collection changed to house delivery no consent. Chat with live maxis, said don't bother follow original mail. Some forumers confirmed as well. Next, reached Klcc 7pm. Received both sms and email said delivery on the way to house. So, house or Klcc? Kept cool. Checked with front desk Klcc said confirmed my phone self collection but 2nd batch 12.30am but why? Anyway since sure can collect then Makan-Makan. After that straight go to check out the queue. Didn't know queue started but then was chased out when actual store close time reached. Was the first 25 (ignored the 2nd batch msg which is for crowd control for maxis only). By half an hour after 12am, got phone and casing. Before 1am reached home. My advice if we want to die die among the 1st to get iPhone during local launch with discount and preferred telco network:
1) for pre-order; prepared earlier try and try till can. Forget about the bug and glitches. Rem your main and only objective die die want to get. If can take leave and try till u can. 2) order confirmation - only choose self-collect. Nothing else guarantees. if the email is the same as per your order that should be final. Don't let the subsequent mail to affect u unless u can't collect at the end, the very end. That's my mantra if you really want to get it. If you are C customer then only 1 advise for this launch. Queue early if can take leave and queue as early as allowed. A cheap price and a guaranteed phone-what makes u more happy? |

Just now 6pm like that called Brightstar to check my MOS and it was still in their warehouse and only able to send to Gdex by next monday. So i asked one of the nice lady there to help to expedite the process and YESSSSS....now my iphone is on Gdex truck from KL to Penang...I'm going to Gdex office tomorrow morning to collect my iphone!!! YEAH!!! FINALLY!!

I dont know this might be good news for us who are waiting but i dont think it will be changed that fast. Maybe hold on till next year those planning to get 64 and 128gb. Serious issue though, probably massive recall if true.

I ordered ip6 gold 64gb on 01nov 7pm. Status in MOS - order sent for dispatch (which should mean brightstar rcv order, I think?)
However, shitty maxis could have updated a more correct status on MOS and made sure every1 can use Track Shipment feature For those that ordered 64gb or 128gb, maybe can hold on first but only cancel order if phone not rcv by end of next week? As if you cancel now with almost no stock at all maxis outlets, you have suffered the agony unnecessarily since 31st oct. Just few more days. Hang in there guys. |

I called Maxis. They said orders made before 3rd Nov will receive within 7 days, orders received after will be after 7 days. I ordered on 1 Nov, n they said i'll get phone by next week n that stock is already in place!!.

I called to GDex too. But they can't check without the tracking # provided by BS. Cause the girl that handle BS account is not there. Have to wait until Monday. Get tracking # from BS and track with GDex. Can either wait for delivery or pick up at GDex if can't wait lol...

maxis really fooled by their analysis. Previous analysis:
ip5s: gold popular & 16gb & 32gb were hot cakes.. ip6 & ip6+: SG, 64GB & 128GB are hotcakes! so that's y there's excessive gold color and 16gb nationwide That is what MOS CS told me yesterday |

Yesterday i called to Brightstar to check on my order.
My order is in their system and the phone in the warehouse. I was told the phone will be delivered to me earliest on Monday or Tuesday. Because i'll be off to Korea on Sunday morning for a week, so i've got no choice but to re-schedule delivery to 17/11. I even ask if any possibility to receive today, she said not possible. Btw, my location is Ipoh. Very sad coz can't take new phone with me for holiday... Surprise, surprise, surprise! GDEX deliver the phone to my office this morning! Delivery guy came without calling. I wasn't in the office. My staff received it (I thought 3rd party receive is not allowed?). Thanks Brightstar and GDEX for being so efficient. Receiving the phone 2 days after official launch is not too bad at all, is it? |

Klang Valley folks will not receive the iphones today, cuz BS said they r not delivering on weekend right? for outstation folks, they delivered it because BS send the ip to GDex n gdex are working half day on Saturday.

Act my sis got it for me haha. Was in pavi watching movie, sister called at 1 ish said phone is delivered. She just told the Gdex guy that this is for her brother. So the Gdex guy just past it to her. It comes in the maxis green box. Ordered MOS 31st Oct, 7am ish Ip6 64gb grey, kota kemuning Hang tight guys. Yours will be at your door steps soon |

Today wake up at 12pm, then go The Garden for lunch. After lunch, try my luck to walk in Maxis Center to get iPhone6. So lucky, got 2 set iPhone6 within half and hour time without any hassle. Feeling happy today!

my other line's iphone6 64GB silver arrived yesterday from maxis yesterday(ordered via phone on 1st Nov) but was not at home. so i collected it from the courier office this morning. much like i complain about some of the poor service they gave during the last 2 weeks in one way or another, i must commend 2 things : the iphone self collection launch which went thru pretty smoothly and fast, and also the delivery of the 1st batch of iphones preorders.

Just wondering if anyone had similar experience when activating the sim card. Called up the 1-300 number on the card in the box and was talking to this lady. After verifying my IC number and all, she asked me which plan I chose with my new phone. Then she asked me how long the contract is for. She sounded as if she doesn't know what plan I bought the phone for. Seems to me that they should already have this information when I bought the phone on line. If I was mean I could have told her only for 12 months where the upfront payment would be higher and she wouldn't know!

now this is weird. when i made the first order on 31st oct, the page went error at the payment page. maxis claimed they did not receive the transaction although my bank confirmed the transaction went thru (although the security tac was not requested).
I couldn't wait any longer for maxis to revert within 5 working days. i tried 2nd attempt on the 2nd nov. it went thru successfully with the purchase order sms and email obtained. I notify maxis and they say will cancel the first order if they really receive the money. Only the 2nd attempt order appear in my maxis store order list since then. When i'm happily seeing the order is currently at the pickpack stage this morning,  SUDDENLY tonight it pop out another MOS ID and stated ordered on 31st oct !!! so now i got 2 MOS ID with the same mobile number? worst still it stated shipped on 6th nov (which is a past date). This is the problem with Malaysian. Complaint Kao kao never take any action with tribunal. Heck just go together, create a template and submit complain to spam tribunal la. Can do everything online.
So what will happen next week? Ohhh I finally receive my phone. Thank you maxis!! Then everything back to normal. Next year, repeat the same sh!t with loyal customer still buying iPhone from them. If this happened in US, one customer also enough to bring them to court. |

I just got off the phone with my friend who had ordered his and had a delivery date of Dec 12th and he called me up to tell me he had his phone delivered to him on Friday the 7th.
Now I'm totally in the WTF moment now. |

Seriously I don't mind... At least I read it as reasonable handling on my delivery... Of course, it will be much more appreciate if they can provide me earlier...Its kinda sad when you see so many people got so frustrated just because of a "first world problem - eg. not getting phones earlier" as life is so much more than an iPhone. Ordered 31st oct 203pm ip6+ 64gb gold.... So, just chill out guys, they are coming and I think all orders can be fulfilled within the promised 7 working days based on this workrate |
