This seemed to work for me. Had a meeting this morning near a maxis centre. After meeting, I walked into the centre and tried to ask whether they have 6+ 64GB. Said no stock. So I proceeded to do some housekeeping with my account. Turn out I have corporate account and was sent to a Corporate Service desk. In that desk, the person was accommodating and told me that they have 6+ 64GB Space Grey. I quickly GRAB!

I don't think they reserved specifically for my companies. Probably just for any corporate accounts. I'm just a small-bie in my company. I'm just using iValue 1, not some big spender. But yeah, seriously lucky today. I'm still in disbelief. I suspect these are stock they keep for the big spenders or Datuk/Datin that walk in.

The time you spent walking in everyday is just not worth it. Might as well buy from Apple Store.

How do you classify as VVIP? Is there a monthly spending caps? Are you a Datuk? Just curious as I didn't realize there is a VVIP status.

I am a business line customers, which has maxis one club. I don't even qualify for pre order during that week. Business line customers are always the last to get their phones. That was what happened to me during iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 launch. I am actually very frustrated being a business line customers. LOL.

That was the reason on that day last week, I went to maxis center to change my account back to personal individual. So that I don't get sidelined in iPhone 7 launch... but turned out they have stock (6+ 64GB) when I walked in.

It's true though. I find the 6+ boring. Maybe the smartphones doesn't give the ooomph it used to give. I like the big size, sure, but I am bored already.
