been to san francisco steakhouse once in subang summit. extremely satisfied with the environment, partially satisfied with the price, but totally not satisfied with the food.....me n my gf order seafood plate the other day n the oyster is damn smelly....yucks...make me feel like vomit come to think of it

or else go to The Ship at Pertama Complex there beside SOGO...can ask for a candle light dinner for two there..

Victoria Station offers steak, chops, poached....generally western food.

If you want candle light dinner, where everything is served, you don't need to order just do a RSVP, got violinist/pianist, tips.... I think RM200 won't be enough.

Anyway, if you want place that got pianist I suggest Corus hotel near KLCC or Ampang Park.

Don't go for those " All you can eat" hotel buffet ..... not romantic. Have to que up and take food almost like canteen.

Actually, do you want a Formal(e.g. suit,nightgown,batik...) or casual type one (jeans,tshirt,shirt) event?

All of this depends on your GF personality. If she's the gracious and feminine type choose formal or if she's the sporting and outgoing you can opt for the casual type.

If she's just normal... go for KLCC, don't go to Low yat, SG wang, BB plaza.... that area Ah beng place. Even AH beng ahlian also eat at Zang Toi, talk crap like mamak stall.

You can consider getting an orchestra performance in dewan filhornonik petronas... rm18-40 per person some performance also free CD.

Why am I bother to give so many tips... cause I have NBTD.

Actually you yourself should be more clear than us because you are the one who knows your GF's personality best. We all don't know your GF so We are not liable with any looses that occured that is cause by our advice.

if western food go for Victoria Station or San Francisco Steackhouse... The Ship not so nice (depend on which shop lah...). Indon food never tried b4... for the watch i think guess is ok depend on wat style u prefer lor.... will ur gf birthday is on the valentine coz price may higher on that time so watch ur budget.
Little advice: Make sure u do RSVP on the restaurant 1st, coz no mood lah if no place when u there...

You should try looking around Star Hill's lower ground floor. Alot of luxurious looking restaurants. Quite, dim and irrisistably romantic.

I also remember my sister saying someting about 'Bombay Palace' in KL...I've seen the building before...its like a mansion! Anyone know about it?

does ur gf like surprise? if yes, try to find something that "not-so-traditional"

( for ex. like give flower, dolls are outdated/traditional stuff to me, dont do traditional stuff)

The restaurant has a very romantic ambience too

Take her to Zen at Sunway Pyramid, on top on Kim Gary. It's a damn nice restaurant that will fit your budget and damn nice environment too! Enjoy!!

FYI, I've already bought a Guess watch...

the dinner plan...kindda have to change a bit...the situation is like this....currently, my gf is at her hometown in JB...will be taking the bus from JB 7pm(arriving here around 11pm++ this 4th of February aka on her 21st birthday) she doesnt now that Im fetching her up with my new car + I wanna suprise her....so, donno suitable or not to go to the restaurant..maybe would have to extend a bit..I mean like taking it a day after...so, for the moment being...planning to get a cake for her...then put in my car..then show to her or something..and for the watch..planning to put in front of the car in the compartment...donno romantic or not...then put note there or something....the problem is, where is romantic area for me to do all this? i mean..any romantic place where u can park ur car and have peace where no one disturbs u...ii hope u guys get what i mean..just wanna a quit place...erm..as for the restaurant..dont think would be a good idea on the date itself since she will be tired of the long journey...

I've been to places where the bill can run up to a couple of hundred ringgit per person (if you're not careful), and half of the people are dressed casually. Heck, I've been to buffets where you pay three digits per person, and half of the people are dressed as if they've just finished a round of golf.

House of Sundanese isn't that expensive to boot; I've been there before dressed casually for a normal night out But don't let everyone else spoil your night. Then again, a suit is a bit too much for such a place, in my opinion.

If you are really worried about what everyone else is dressing, there are a few restaurants which are strictly formal i.e. suits and evening dresses only. The catch is that these are restaurants are exclusive and pricey, with each dish into three digits easily.

it's actually started late dec 2004 in the states whre paris hilton n nicole ritchie started the trend of it 4 the winter christmas season

when the fad reaches in europe by feb it was died off in the states soon after the summer season

threfore we r actually 2 sadly says 3 seasons back dated fashion

the salesperson all thre will recommend strap watches rather bracalet which is easily more trendy n never out of style anytime unlike bracalets which depends on seasons n time of the yr

et's cafe in rawang.....inside the restaurant is fully decoration by the aquarium.... even table is on the aquarium. got fish inside. emmm ....the lighting just like naili place but decorate with all the aquarium in the wall. not the restaurant talaipia fish lar...goldfish, feng shui , dragon and other fish. got band also, but just start at 8.30pm till 10pm. some more moving head is along the the way into restaurant.
