Value for money would def be souled out cafe in desa sri hartamas. Go during happy hours and you'll get drinks at a steal smile.gif My fav dish there is from their kiddie menu: baked mac & cheese. Love it!

Villa Danieli (Italian)

Hubby took me here last year. Pretty pricey with each dish being around RM80 or so. But the atmosphere and settings are romantic smile.gif

Ciao is at Jalan Tun Razak...but recently I pass by there, seemed like the building is no more...some construction is being done there...Anyone know where they move to? I tried there once...really not bad...

Maybe can try call them see can find them or not...their website is www.ciao.com.my
*
Oh they've moved? I've been there once before. Nice settings and what not but I feel the portion is really small and the price - a tad pricey~

Anyone know the menu of federal hotel revolving restaurant?

looking forward to hav a dining place with new experience. Can move 1 le..... only 2 in KL, kl tower & federal hotel.

I know penang have 1 also.... but too far for me.
*
Well can't say much about the federal hotel one but I've been to the KL tower one. You can go for the buffett which is about RM110++ or order ala carte which is priced at RM100 each dish (insane ok!). Food is so so, but I guess you pay that price for the view, which is amazing and makes it worth it. If you're lucky maybe that place won't be so crowded coz it kinda sucks when there are too many people and the noise level just annoys you.

where's cafe cafe darling ???? in malaysia or sum other country ?

Dahling, it's next to Dewan Pustaka KL, Jalan Maharajalela. It's like a slice of Paris in KL smile.gif You can opt for the set (soup, main course, 2 types of dessert) from RM79 onwards to RM120 over. There's also a small selection of pasta approx RM28 each dish. Their famous dish is the lamb. Drinks are on the steep side and they're not even alcoholic drinks mind you.

This is the place to go to propose someone, lol coz it's very romantic. Just google and check out the pictures and review but of course nothing beats like being there.

Btw they're also the same owners of The Banquet in Bangsar Village. Also highly recommended - they serve chinese and western, the baked fish is to die for! And the avocado juice, yum yum

It's definitely worth it right. What do u guys think? Does it include wine?
*
When I went with my husband the bill only came up to RM150 because I didn't order much, lol. Anyway if you go for the set then it's about RM120 and above per person. The ala-carte is around RM30-40 each. Food is okay la but you're definitely paying for the romantic ambiance.

OOOOO I recommend Dubrovnik, food and ambiance was pretty good. each main course was an average of RM40-50. But if you subscribe to their site, you get 20% off smile.gif

If in KL I would suggest Cafe Cafe, it's very cozy and romantic though the food portion is small la. Then again, it really depends on what sort of food your wifey likes? Btw congrats smile.gif As for the gift, I would suggest a bracelet or ring - always nice to get jewerly on the first year of marriage, hehe smile.gif
