QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Aug 16 2008, 09:24 AM) @andrewcyw, Bijan's a little overrated in my opinion but it does haf an a-oK environment. I wouldn't consider that as 'fine dining' though *grins* Hey Tink, that little swiss restaurant in DH is pretty good. I can't remember what it's called though. It's near Hock Lee's.

QUOTE(scrubiee @ Aug 17 2008, 10:29 AM) I was at Lafite during April this year hmm this place is a great place for fine dining especially with your love ones, but 1 thing i was disappointed was about their dress code. Dress Code Lunch: Smart Casual Dinner: Suit for men, evening dress for women This was stated on their website. When i was there i was the only 1 wearing a suit and i was the youngest, there were people wearing polos, my mood went bad, oh well wearing a suit makes you look good and for sure it does feels good. Their services and chef really did a good job by servicing us, the food was excellent i didn't really like 1 dish which contains fish in it, forgotten what was it because it was a long time ago haha ..ahhh well 1 man's food is another man's poison =D I heard the chefs yelling inside the kitchen its like Hellkitchens Ramsey yelling at everyone haha he really does know how to take care of his clients! So far everything is excellent except for their strictness in their Dress code 1 of the best dining experience in my life was at Melbourne Australia at Nobu in Crowns Hotel! If you guys ever go to Melbourne do try it! Its Japanese Fusion yo! Heh.. catch any local restaurant enforcing a dress code.. lol they like the money more than they care about the dress code. So long as you don't wear shorts and slippers... That's another thing about Malaysia, there's no class distinction. You have a million, ten million, you eat at the restaurant like everyone else. There's no exclusive restaurant here, where people will turn you away if you don't make a reservation, don't wear a suit, evening dress or polished leather shoes. QUOTE(deodorant @ Sep 7 2012, 04:17 PM) My point is, there is no such thing as as "5 star restaurant" or a "6 star restaurant." There is no "food authority" that reviews restaurants and gives them a "star" rating. Nor is there any 'generally accepted' criteria as to how a restaurant would qualify for X number of stars. Exactly.. you like what you like... Ramly Burger might not have 5 stars, but...

QUOTE(jiannjiunn @ Jun 19 2013, 07:43 PM) Hey Bro, Can u advise me , which restaurant better for good KL view and good food? For my Anniversary ^^ Budget around 350++ Nice View Good Good (Private Dining) No Crowded, somemore the place suit to give flower to her^^ Really none. Eat at home is the best, private dining, not crowded, summore you can cook for her (how romantic is that), also can give flower (and do other things) no one disturb. Also won't cost Rm350
