Just wanted to say here that i went to Top Hat Restaurant based on the nice reviews by you guys. It is indeed a nice place to dine with ur loved one. But be prepared to bring some extra cash with you just in case..

i had salad+pasta+desert (pudding) = rm 70

my gf had satay+some asian set+sago gula mlk (48)

total about 155.

we brought our own wine but they told us that BYO charges wil be RM 50 which is the same as their wine price. not worth it.

the food was absolutely magnificent. never tasted something so nice before. it is indeed a gourmet restaurant.

their prawns are larger than my thumbs

defintely a nice place to go.

lets say the convention centre is on ur left, go straight.. if u see a road split, take left also. then go all the way straight. after the split, if u notice an old banglo on ur right, thats the one

I actually doubt u can see the banglo form far cos its surrounded by its garden. but the TOP-HAT reataurant signboard is right outside the entrance

the opposite of top hat is a hotel (traders hotel or something). on the RIGHT of top hat is ALSO a hotel (dunno wat name). so its like a special old banglo right in the middle of high rise buildings

im sorry if i sound el cheapo but could u guys recommend me a place to eat where 2 person will be less than say 50 bucks? or 50-60 bucks?

why im so like det? well, i spent most of my money on the gift itself so really broke already
