I've been to most of the restaurants you listed.

My favourite has to be Third Floor in Marriott.

LaFite... haha. A close friend of mine went there for dinner with 2 of his friends, the bill came up to RM11,000.

I just returned from the Banquet @ Bangsar Village 2. To club this with Fine Dining is a joke because the food is nothing like fine dining.
Braised Lamb Shank was bland tasting, with sauce like those canned pasta sauce.. imagine Prego.
Oven Baked Fish was great for the first few bites, but it got boring after that. The sauce was something new though.
Service wise, the waiters cannot even speak English properly, and we had to ask for the desserts ourselves, while they hang out there, 3-4 of them altogether.
If CafeCafe has the same owner with the Banquet I am quite worried about my lunch this coming Sunday. Seriously I don't dare to expect too much now, and hope I will be pleasantly surprised.

i back from banquet liao. food is ok but nothing special liao. i feels full house @ NZX is a better choice with better food and environment liaoz. not really recommended liaoz.

went to cafecafe liao. kena rickroll by one of the bloggers saying it opens for lunch on sundays. it's only open from 6pm to 12am daily. to hell with him.

place is romantic, but a little too dim for my liking.. food is nothing exceptional. wagyu cheek is either overrated, or the taste is not to my liking. i still find the wagyu steak at maria's @ damansara perdana winning hands down. so far none has managed to come even 50% close to its awesomeness

2 person RM210. WIR? NO.

i eated at Yap Wing Klang BKT @ Bdr Puteri Puchong (a few shops next to Axian Dim Sum) just now. RM25 for the set for 2-3 pax. Got 1 dry and 1 soup BKT (small), vege, rice and chinese tea.

the soup version is quite starchy and thick, taste wise quite spesial coz not too herby nor too sweet.. a very spesial edition. meat was tender mebbe because they gave a lot of fat one. rating 6/10

dry version is comparable to Yap Beng @ Equine Park. Their versi is sweeter one, and little wetter. Not bad at all. rating 7/10. **I rate Yap Beng 9/10 on a good chef day.
