dani_irwan, regarding Firewatch.. played for 15mins yesterday,
the game is as per what i expected it to be - storyline's quite nice.. having Delilah as your chat buddy somewhat reminded me of the movie 'Her' (with ScarJo as your AI 'girlfriend'). gameplay is standard, artwork is also fine for me. i'm not sure about it, but i think SSJBen answered your question from the previous thread (V13) and mentioned about stuttering.. Liked the first hour+, but couldn't bear with the stutters anymore. if Ben was commenting on Firewatch, then i would say that even for the first 15mins of gameplay, there were some stuttering.. it's as if the game was constantly trying to save data quite often (though no 'Save' prompting on screen). would've played more, but I'm unfortunately still tied to my MGSV..  for me, i would give the game 4/5 (i'm a sucker for story-based games like this one). |

Yeah I was talking about Firewatch. The game is still playable, but for me I didn't find it enjoyable with the erratic frametimes (stutter) so I'm putting it off until the devs fix it (of which they've acknowledged).

I tried taking my US PS4 to the Sony service in the curve mall but they don't want to repair US set, so sad
so then I tried opening it up myself and here's a video of my problem if anyone can give some suggestion or have the fix for it, I'll be very grateful  |

Bros my ps4 kaput. Can boot but cannot display video. Ayam sad. Any estimation how much to fix? Or shops to recommend? I saw in US site, it's about 150 Usd in the centers, anyone fixed before? Should be hdmi port faulty la.. Thanks

erm, not sure is it correct posting here.

Guys, is there any recommendation for wireless headset ?
Will only use the headset for offline gaming as I don't really play online game and there isn't any necessary for the mic. If there is any reasonable headset that I could get and the priority would be the comfort as I bought few headsets before previously and my ear can feel the pain after less than an hour of gaming ? |

Yup. Would recommend you get the seagate 2TB backup +. I changed mine months back. Although it looks fragile which u might break the thing if replacing the HD but infact it was pretty easy and smooth. And now I have a my old PS 500GB HD on my seagate 2TB housing to be used as my external HD.

My main PSN account is R3 but i notice R1 always have discount offers and lets say if i create new account under R1 purchase it and download the games later if i chg it back to my normal R3 account Is it the games will visible in library and playable ( trophy can be collected as usual ??) I bought a used The Last of Us PS4 from a fellow forumer last year. It's R-All. Didn't bother to buy any DLCs until recently when I started to play the MP that I feel like buying some DLC guns to try out. I play the MP with my R1 account. When I try to buy the DLC from within the game, I always get the prompt DLC not available for purchase. When I buy the DLC from US store in PS4, no download initiates. When I buy the DLC from US store on the web, the purchase went through but I only get the PS3 version of the DLC in the download list, no PS4 version. Please help. Thanks. |

I got question for those migrated from PS3 to PS4.
Which region you guys sticking in? I'm still with R1 although the our MYR not doing very good. In PS3 era, the R3 store is hopeless - no sales, no Day 1 edition, PS+ games were bad. That caused most of us moved to R1. However, recently I noticed R3 stores are improving, which dirt cheap sales especially from Ubisoft publishers. New users mostly likely register as R3. What about previous gen gamers? |

Anyone can advise whether Streamyx 4mbps is good enough to play PS4 online multiplayer?
My area has no Unifi so I can only sign up for this speed. The PS Plus promo of 12mth+1 mth free seems nice but I wouldn't want to take the plunge if the speed is not good enough to take advantage of online gaming. Thanks |

Nope, none of my friends own a PS4.got any friends with ps+? ask if you can use their username and login and then you can test out PS+ from your home. if ok then cool. if not, then took your friends 5 mins and a little bit of your time. I actually subscribed 1 month PS Plus earlier in order to buy DriveClub at special discounted price, unfortunately the subscription lapsed exactly the day I got connected with the Streamyx, so out of luck to truly test the online multiplayer performance. Anyone out there using Streamyx 4mbps who could advise on the online performance?  |

1. Does the length of LAN cable matter? My PS will be 2 meters from my router... but the cable im using for my PS3 now is 12 meters (i think. maybe 15)... does it matter? or should i use a shorter cable? 2. is it faster to plug straight into modem rather than router? |

Just sharing regarding my earlier question about using Streaymx 4Mbps playing online multiplayer on PS4. Finally got to test it out on Helldivers, the speed seems to work fine and there is no lag or drop out.

some 1 please guide me about my twitch cannot show comments while im sharing my gameplay?
i linkup my twitch account to ps4 to broadcast my gameplay, while the broadcast is ok but not the comments. it says cannot display comments and i tried google all available answers but no luck. i tried manual IP setup as well as changing to google DNS. i even done port forward and DMZ still cannot. to those who experienced this and manage solve kindly guide me. thank you |

Hey, guys. I've haven't been able to connect to a single online session matchmaking session as well as getting sent back to the Main Menu on a number of occasions on Helldivers since yesterday.
So I decided to run a Test Internet Connection on my PS4 and got this message saying, "The router in use may not support IP Fragments, and the communication features of some games may be restricted. For details,contact the router manufacture". I did multiple test and at times it also failed to detect my Nat Type as well. Thing is I've been using the same router and settings ever since I got my PS4 back in 2014 but yesterday was the first time that error message popped up. Was wondering if anyone could help. Thanks. I had this problem last night where the Online feature for my MGSV seems to be intermittently accessible.
Network check shows this : "The router in use might not support IP packet fragmentation, and some network features in PS4 might be restricted.." » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I saw from previous thread that squall_12 & silverbolt143 faced similar issue back in Nov'15, have you guys rectified them? Will google up for more info in case the network access is persistent, but if anyone faced this issue before and found ways to rectify them, do let me know - I would appreciate the feedback. |

The March PS4 free game is so lame, I'm okay with side scrolling or even 2d graphic game, but pixelated game is a big no no. Pixelated graphic is not a graphic style, it was limitation of old technology from 20 plus years ago, it should be a crime for indies to crank out pixelated graphic on a modern gaming console that make your eyes bleeds in the guise of "graphical style".

This is the JPN PSN login.  Another trace route to sonyentertainmentnetwork.com Eveything seems to be going to some 3rd party routing company in SG that has bull manure connection. Yes, in fact I read about it in Bloodborne game guide to do so in case i screw up something, so I made that copy into my USB drive. And the option is actually there in the save game management e.g "Copy to USB". Not like I have to do any hack whatsoever.

Hey guys, I remembered last time this was discussed before but very difficult to go digging through all the posts in old topics for it.
Is there a permanent fix for the disc auto-eject problem? For 8-10 months I've used my PS4 in vertical position without ever facing this problem. Now it seems to be happening quite regularly. I've tried the tightening screw method, but it feels like the screw is just rotating without getting tighter. Don't dare to try removing the rubber method, does that really work? My case is, I have an active PayPal account with debit card registered and linked to my PSN. The funds was successfully added to my PSN account, while it creates a statement on my PayPal account but it never charges my bank account, which I had the money ready for them to deduct from my bank. My PayPal account has only RM5 in it but I can't add funds to it as only RHB bank supported, which I don't have. I'm using HLB for this transaction, and it's just only a small sum of money, RM15. With the annual Game Developers Conference in full swing, I’m pleased to give you an exciting update on PlayStation VR. Today, we are announcing that the PlayStation VR headset will launch in October of this year for a suggested retail price of USD $399 / CAD $549.  That is a bit later than the timeframe we previously stated, and I want to thank everyone for their patience and continued support. PlayStation VR represents a transformative experience in gaming, and we wanted to take the time needed to launch with a broad variety of content and a sufficient supply of hardware. We are beyond excited to deliver to consumers the amazing experience that PS VR offers. VR feels kinda lonely to me. And sometime goofy also...
Will it become a thing or not... Dunno yet, but for the entrance price of it sure become a barrier from preventing it becoming mainstream and if it does not becomes mainstream developers will drop the support or development for games of VR pretty fast. |

The good news about the VR is that Sony has confirmed that the VR set can be used for all other non-VR games and videos, meaning we can use it to play existing PS4 games through a virtual larger screen tv. Anyone got any idea if the Sony's lower VR resolution will results in gamers actually noticing individual pixels of the VR display?

Sony Planning PS4.5 Model With Upgraded GPU, 4K Resolution
Based on information from “developer sources,” Kotaku is reporting that a PlayStation 4.5 is in the planning stages at Sony. According to the report, this new PS4 model would include an upgraded GPU that supports 4K resolution for games and adds more processing power to enhance PlayStation VR games. The name PS4.5 doesn’t appear to be official, but Kotaku heard it mentioned by developers at GDC. Furthermore, it appears Sony held meetings with developers at GDC about the new PS4 model and how it would work. However, none of Kotaku’s sources knew for sure when the PS4.5 would ship or how much it might cost, but one source said it might not release in 2016. Kotaku adds, “Plans are always changing, and some of the details we’ve heard are fuzzy, but one thing has become clear: Sony is exploring the possibility of releasing a more powerful console way before the PlayStation 5.” When reached for comment about the PS4.5, a Sony spokesperson said, “We can’t comment on rumors or speculation.” Currently, the PS4 supports 4K photos and videos. PS4.5 sounds like:
PS4.5 is PS5. PS4 will have a shorter shelf life. PS5 will have PS4 b/c. PS5 sole existence purpose is to support 1080p60fps and not to bottleneck PSVR. Sony Malaysia will charge PS4.5 RM2500 to justify selling 1TB PS4 for RM1799. This post has been edited by nill: Mar 19 2016, 10:49 AM |

If Sony dump the PS4, they will surely lose big money as it takes lots of time to build up user base for each generation of console, not to mention that 4K tv is not yet a norm hence there won't be enough potential consumer for their new product. PS 4.5 if ever released will likely be running the same game (only higher resolution/fps/texture), game developer will continue to focus on PS4 as the new console is developed to compliment PSVR. |

I just noticed that even the cheap VR box (for use with smartphone) stated that their device only suitable for myopia below 600 degrees. I wondered what is the limit for PSVR even though they said people with glasses can wear the PSVR.

mine is 10mbps now upgraded to 100mbps! better gaming here i come (hopefully)! |

Either 50mbps or 100mbps. The most important thing is still latency/ping. High bandwidth but sux on latency also no use. You will experience matrix or lag spike when playing..
