I still have more than a year of warranty since I got it with extended warranty. So I better not fiddle with the gold contact haha... 

I guess I'll start saving up some cash and maybe later I'll get the newer model and sell off the old one.   With a year or so still left in my extended warranty, hopefully it can still fetch a good price. 

Thanks for the advice guys, will consider. Still have more than a year warranty left since I bought extended warranty last time, that's what makes sacrificing the warranty a little more harder haha... Still playable for now, since the auto eject happens like once in every gaming session, so I'll stick with it for now while considering.
