u should have bought 2TB...

backing up file for the PS4 takes 10+ hours if you filled up 400+GB. 1TB will be worse..
The cost for 2TB is worth spending compared to Malaysia super reliable network speed and the time taken to back-up files.

Am i crazy or PSN MY has increased the price of some of their older games? If yes, more reasons not to buy anything.

As written in the blog, for USD$399, you only get the HMD. You will have to purchase two essentials separately:
a. PS4
b. PS Camera

Kindly be advised that it is better you try out the unit before buying. Not everyone can stand playing VR for a long time. Motion sickness is a deal breaker.

PSN MY can be unpredictable. During new year, Witcher 3 + Season Pass was selling for RM150. One/Two weeks later, Witcher 3 without season pass is for sale for around RM150.

The workaround is to use your sister account to activate your PS4 as primary PS4. Then you can login using your account to play her games.

Disclaimer: I am not sure how long it takes to deactivate your sister's PS4 as primary PS4 for her account.


Game sharing is complicated and don't subscribe Plus just to get free games. They are not that good. Reconsider joining US PSN.
Their sales are good. PSN cash card can be found in Garage sales thread or you can buy from Amazon.

PS4.5 sounds like:
PS4.5 is PS5.
PS4 will have a shorter shelf life.
PS5 will have PS4 b/c.
PS5 sole existence purpose is to support 1080p60fps
and not to bottleneck PSVR.

Sony Malaysia will charge PS4.5 RM2500 to justify selling 1TB PS4 for RM1799.

i didn't said anything about being banned.
That is how to setup 2 PS4 to play games simultaneously using one account, if I'm not mistaken.

My latest eye test shows mine is over 800..
No VR for me..

Not sure if it's a serious question. If games can be backup, PS4 will end up with always online policy to play the backup/blu ray disc, which incur unnecessary cost to Sony.
If disc damage upon arrival, claim from your seller, not Sony..

Digital download because don't have to swap disc but make sure your network download speed is ok.

Ofc. PS4 is officially sold in Malaysia by Sony. Besides that, Malaysia has it's own PSN store.
Meanwhile, we have to match US pricing for the other console + some mark up for retailer profits.

Wait for PS4 Neo release and see 2nd hand old PS4 being sold for less than 1k.

i think you better visit more stores to search for demo units. That's a safer bet.

1. There is no region lock for PS4. PS3 too except one region lock game, Atlus Persona 4 Arena. If you want region lock, get a WiiU or 3DS.

2. You can create both account. But please play your games on your US PSN. PSN Malaysia/PSN Asia is slow in adding games and only pander to Free to play. US PSN has plenty of good discounts. PSN MY = plenty of RM200+ games whole year long. See their RM50 for spending RM330 promotions but without games on sale (Except EA), verrry goood. Or the CNY red packets...

3. You're late to the party, wait for PS Neo to crash PS4 price.
You better sell off your PSN Plus MY memberships and get games instead.
It's standard to get 15 months warranty from Sony Malaysia.
Don't believe, the seller will ask you to register your PS4 in Sony MY website. Any seller selling PS4 Malaysia set can offer you 15 months warranty.
