i suggest put a owner list. at least it help ppl to ask the right ppl the note book they have

next benefit we can see majority buy which brand and model

most of the people here do recommendation might not even own the notebook so their advice are based on spec or hear say and not actual experience or hands on.

I hv the units in my showroom does it consider I tried it b4.... some user dun even know wat they buying... after they bought it, dota2 only...

I disagree with owner list on the Notebook suggestion thread. It should keep it as clean and as neutral as possible, signature or another thread that your dedicated brands/model to post the owners list.

I'm Sifu who recommend on Smartphone (Android) suggestion thread. We keep the same trend there as similar here.

Just my 2 cents, no offence to anyone here.

to make you clear between cpu and gpu(gc) rendering. for the purposes of final frame rendering,the driving force behind a gpu rendering has always been speed.

both giving good same quality but different in how much time to need to give those quality output. so GPU>CPU

where gt.. sometimes she invite.. i decline. hahaha

only 4k something only la... almost 5k.. but its hard.

its still new... and this acer switch is kinda a gadget to watch for this q3 terms... My only question marks will be over battery life and its optional features, including stylus and port. acer claims its battery life of eight hours... but its not clear during normal usage/heavy usage...

ah.. i went to lowyat and asked before.. they said its only 2 cells battery.. so if its heavy use with wifi.. maybe 2-3hours..

is it that bad?

im using macbook pro now.. i want to find something durable, long battery life...

Not mine, yesterday tested at Thundermatch, very good, material good, wet palm user take care lo, sound normal but loud enough, speaker design good, screen anti glare, normal user will satisfy, gaming, design budget laptop.

reliability or not, since it is a mass production with different series of ideapad. some are not reliable. sometimes, its good to read review... or checking some review and compare. now most lineup have very well manufactured and it gets competitive. just the issue is customer service.

Thinkpad was exceptionally good.. still the best in terms of physical built quality (asides from military grade).. my 2 years old daughter used to jump and play on top of it (T series) with lid close and it's non an issue.. I was thinking to get thinkpad as well, but if quad core & 15", it has to be W series and it will cost RM6k for a used 1 or RM8k for new 1

Thinkpad is good and famous for their T, X & W series.. once you get used to their keyboard & physical build quality, you will have limited choices I would have gone for that if I have that kind of budget..

other similar range business notebook to Thinkpad T,X,W series will be Dell Latitude series & HP Business Class notebook.. Dell notebook was famous for their bad QC in the past, they have the highest lemon among other brand.. HP business class notebook was good too, but their design & keyboard somehow doesn't click with me..

anyway i suggest you go to view all the notebook in physical, everybody has different opinion..

Lowyat 4th floor for all the gaming notebook (brightstar).. 3rd floor viewnet/asus for the majority non business class notebook.. 2nd floor for lenovo thinkpad class.. or Digital Mall PJ whichever convenient..

the UX305CA is slim and slick. that's why i like it.
dota aside, does the UX305CA works well for photoshop, etc?
