DDR3 8GB VS DDR4 4GB RAM which one is better?

sorry im noob in this just want to know more..

For me for sure it's 8GB DDR3 over 4GB DDR4.

The speed improvement from DDR3 to DDR4 is just too minor to notice. Capacity ftw.

1. Preferred Brand: None
2. Budget: Prefer below RM2.8k but can top up to RM3k
3. Usage: Minor modelling(engineering) and AutoCad
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14" - 17"

Kindly suggest me the best spec for this price.

Currently looking at Asus K401U, saw people selling at RM2,420.00

Intel i5-6200U, 4GB DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GT 940M 2GB, 1TB SATA HDD, 14" FHD, 1.65KG

Thanks. Didn't come across these 2 model. Will research into them.

Are you talking about Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-572G-57N0(RM2900) and Lenovo Ideapad 700-15ISK 80RU00G6MJ(RM3200)?

Hi guys,

Need recommendation for waifu's laptop

Any brand with below 2k budget. will not be used for gaming, work only. Multi tasking will be done alot.

A light laptop would be optional.

Please dont recommend Apple as my wife's not apple friendly.

Any input will be appreciated.

Contacts to any seller would also be appreciated and please post offer for laptops that you have now.
