Oh yeah I forgot about hp envy 13 😅😅😅

So, have you use both of these before?  Which one of the two you recommend?
*
Hp envy has nicer display (QHD+ ), Longer warranty period ( 2 years ) but pricing more expensive ,

Acer S5 would have better CP value then lenovo ideapad 710s biggrin.gif

Hi LYN sifus, having a dilemma here so need some advice:
- 14" or smaller FHD (prefer 13")
- 4gb ram or more
- NO optical drive (nid to cut down weight)
- Budget around RM 3000

So far, have these choices:
- asus zenbook ux305 CA
- asus k401ub
- lenovo ideapad 710s
- acer aspire s13
- lenovo ideapad 500s

Personally, it's for college in business course stuff, but I will use it for entertainment and light gaming ( civilisation v or Insurgency, so requirements not really that high? Btw, insurgency fans come add me please, my steam name same as this LYN acc name)

Also, just curious, but is there any noticeable pros and cons between different brands? Was under the impression like asus has good build quality but poor service, acer laptops feel a bit wonky/not durable, lenovo laptops bluescreen a lot etc etc

Yeah, just wanted to get more opinions from more people. Btw, thanks for your suggestion again!

I've check the Inspiron 7349 you recommended, seems like a good choice as well. But are convertibles like this durable or practical? Never really used one so no idea 😅

Looking for a laptop for myself

1. Preferred Brand - No Acer, Compaq & HP
2. Budget - below RM3000
3. Usage - Microsoft word,excel,accounting software,downloading movies,internet surfing,light gaming eg: feeding frenzy,burger shop
4. Preferred
a) laptop with number pad
b) light weight less than 2kg (with charger), thin, easy to carry.
c) 5 hour possible ? At least 3hr
d) heat not on the palm area
e) at least 3 usb ports

Computer shop seller recommend me Asus UX305 RM2799, any other brand to do comparison? i need to trade in my old Asus A550C because

1)microsoft excel do not function properly eg: auto jump to last cell in excel when i click on specific cell & end mode is blinking on the bottom of excel at the same time, after i format my laptop & downgrade from window 10 to 8 the problem never fixed.

2) open a folder on desktop took forever, same goes to shut down the laptop.

Any know how to fix it so that i don't need to buy new laptop?
