1. Preferred Brand: Any reliable brand
2. Budget: 2k-3k(can be slightly higher)
3. Usage: MS Office, Browsing, office use,watching movies,listening music, the usual stuff,middle-end games,Presentations {(lightweight & good batt life(optional)}

I am using N55SF and I'm pretty satisfied, it's terribly capable thumbup.gif

I run StarCraft2 at high n ultra settings it still runs at 50++ fps rclxms.gif
Then music ah... the speakers are awesome!

probably u would need to buy asus u series
or toshiba Portégé R830-

stiil have one week. going to do some reading for MSI laptop first.huhu

Only the U series laptops will have slightly longer battery lives (up to 6-7 hours).. the others are only normal, which is around 3-4 hours...
All are okay for office use and are even capable of mid-level gaming icon_rolleyes.gif

Really dun have la haha....
The Dell Latitude E5420 can be upgraded to HD+ screen, but then it doesn't have a dGPU option laugh.gif And its also rather expensive....

Since the Nvidia G310M is more or less on par with that of Intel HD3000...
I guess the price is around RM1.5-1.6k, depending on physical conditions as well as remaining warranty duration smile.gif

Additional info, would prefer to have:
5. Processor: Intel 2nd Generation i5 or i7
6. Memory: at least 4GB of 1333MHz DDR3
7. Hard Drive: SSD or HDD doesn't matter
8. Graphic: Does not matter, i don't know
