3. 10% Cash Rebate

4. WATAMI Dining Rebate
Enjoy RM 50 WATAMI Dining Rebate when you charge any 2 retail transactions of any amount to your
card within 60 days from card approval date. This dining rebate will be offset against your next
transaction(s) in WATAMI based on the amount charged to your card including Supplementary Card
spend in WATAMI. The dining rebate is only given to Principal Cardmembers only. The dining rebate

5. Birthday Celebration
You will receive a RM30 WATAMI voucher on your birthday month. For details, please refer to
the terms and conditions printed on the voucher.

6. Card Anniversary
You will receive a RM50 WATAMI voucher on your card anniversary month. For details, please refer to
the terms and conditions printed on the voucher.

7. 3% Quarterly Cash Rebate
Enjoy 3% quarterly cash rebate on total retail transactions outside WATAMI with accumulate spend of
RM3,000 per quarter. The accumulated spend amount is inclusive of Supplementary Card spending. Rebate is
capped at RM150 per quarter and rebate will be credited into the Principal Card account.

For example, Principal Card approved on 15/11/12.

1st quarter = 15-11-12 until 14-02-13 (3 months).
2nd quarter = 15-02-12 until 14-05-13.
3rd quarter = 15-05-13 until 14-08-13.
4th quarter = 15-08-13 until 14-11-13

Cash rebate will be consolidated every 3 months from the card approval date and the cash rebate
will reflect in the following month statement.

The following shall NOT be considered as retail transactions:

a. Annual fee
b. Late Payment Fee
c. Finance Charge
d. Cash Advance

7. Special Reservation and Private Room Usage
Exclusive member booking privilege and private room usage available. Telephone booking should be made 24

8. Double Bonus Point
Earn double bonus points when you spend in all WATAMI Japanese Casual Restaurants locally and overseas
retail spend. For all other retail spend, you will earn one (1) bonus point for every RM1 charged to your card.
No bonus point will be issued for all petrol and cash advance transactions.

9. 500 Bonus Points Upon Approval
You will be rewarded with 500 Bonus Points upon card approval. Accumulated points can be used for redemption
of gifts or vouchers from the AEON rewards redemption catalogue.

10. Annual Fee Waiver
First year annual fee for Principal Card is automatically waived. For subsequent years, the annual fee will be
waived when you spend at least 12 times per year.

11. Supplementary Card
Free annual fee waiver for life for up to 3 supplementary cards. No minimum transactions required to qualify for
the fee waiver.

12. RM 50 Cash Rebate for Principal Card and RM25 for Supplementary Card
The cash rebate will be credited into the Principal and Supplementary Card account with any 2 retail transactions
of any amount charged to the card within 60 days from card approval date. The cash rebate will reflect in the
following month statement. Principal and each Supplementary cardmember need to swipe 2 transactions in
order to get the cash rebate.

The following shall NOT be considered as retail transactions:

Continuous from previous thread, I just checked mine and my points were only given for the last BT payment - 6/6.
I got 1118 and my last payment was 1118.

Those previous payments were not credited with any points.

Continue with the topic just now.

My BT with them for this statement also 6/6, but how they count as for bonus point??

I would like to ask in regards to Watami CC credit limit,

How they calculate their credit limit according to our income, they only gave me rm4000, i think this is lowest possible limit for any credit card applicant @@|||

I thought was at least income x 2?

because sometime i will use my cc to help my customer/friends swipe some "high value" item in order to eligible for 3% cash rebate, i received cash afterward.

Another thing that bank will figure out on your total credit limit in hand now, so not only with your income will do

I have 5 cc in hand excluded the aeon, maybe thats the reason, but i have perfect record because I always received cash after i have swipe my card. haha

Since you have 5 credit cards, that means your salary is more than RM 36k per annum. RM 4k CL is really low.
My Aeon Gold MasterCard was around 3x when I applied it last year and I was holding 5-6 cards that time.

Ok i just checked all my statment.
The bonus points are accumulated from April statement where they stopped giving points for BT until this month statement where my BT is 6/6.
I summed up all the BT amount from April till June statement and it is equal to the bonus points given.

If no mistaken, the T&C updated for BT from Aeon bank that no point will be earn was around the time we starting to BT which is 6 months ago

So, not really sure whether or not now still come with point if BT

Yes, as i mentioned i just summed up all the BT from April (when they stop giving points) till June (my BT 6/6).
And i got back the same exact amount as the bonus points given.
I'm happy already.

that is referring to aeon member card point aka jusco card point. means you get (rm1 = 1point aeon cc point) + (rm2 = 1 j card point)

Wanna ask, considering these 2 cards, Watami seems much better in cash back due to the 3%. What's the benefit of going for the new Gold cards besides premium lounge access?

if u using any other 1% unlimited cap rebate cc, u need spend more than 5K per month in order to compete with watami 3% rebate.

watami maxrebate in 3 months =rm150

1% rebate in order to get rm150 = 15000/3 months = 5000/month

This is not 1%, is 3%

Minimum need to spend RM3k per quarter, max rebate RM150 which is RM5k spending

the "more" aeon points you mean is the 2x points whereby 1x by aeon member card points + 1x aeon cc points?
if yes, watami also get the same right? 1x points from aeon watami cc points + separately use aeon member card to collect 1x point (plus another 3% too).

go during weekends and use mbb2amex for 5% + aeon member card points.

But the AEON Watami Bonus Point is different from AEON MEMBER Point

Scenario A: Spending less than 5k per quarter - Watami better than the NEW Aeon Gold card in terms of reward

Scenario B: Spending more than 5k per quarter - even then any 1% CB card can beat NEW Aeon Gold card.

yes, you can.

The risk is you may run into situation where your email was neglected and no one processes your BT application, in the end you may get penalized with late payment fee and so forth.

I did once and had to endure some inefficiencies then I stopped BT liao. Experience with PBB BT was such a breeze.

If yes, basically this card come with member card of benefit such as collect the point when spend on Jusco. However, this card unable insert to parking machine when pay money.

You no need carry aeon member card already if you have this new gold card

But since it can't be entered into the parking machine, meaning that I still need to carry the normal member card in case to enjoy the free parking right? e.g. Aeon equine park 1st 2 hours is free for member but need to insert the member card after inserting the parking ticket.
