1. spend in aeon rm1250 get rm20 voucher. (1.6% rebate)(rm1=2x aeon point)
2. spend outside rm5000 get rm20 voucher. (0.4% rebate)
(rm2=1x aeon point)

old aeon cc
1. all transaction aeon and not aeon rm5000 get rm20 cash rebate. (0.4% rebate)(rm1=1x reward point)
conclusion:
is matter u want voucher or cash rebate.
for me, new aeon give extra benefit, voucher is still $$..

I just returned from overseas and did not receive any calls. Wondering what happen if they cannot contact the holder and what will be the default action.

Yeah, I actually didn't want to renew but my friend bought stuff from SK-II and entitled to get RM 100 voucher if I were an AEON member.
Since it is 100 bucks, I renewed for another year. Then, suddenly received SMS from AEON and asked me to collect my free RM 30. I went and collected again.
All these were not earned from my AEON Gold but actually AEON membership.

Get to know that if you interested to convert to Aeon New Gold Card / Aeon Big Card, you need to have membership number then only can process it

Otherwise, the application cannot be processed until you got the membership number

About Watami Cash Back / Point, it only available to be transfer to new any Aeon Credit card, but not for existing Aeon credit card. If not, Aeon will issued cheque or Aeon Jusco Vouchers to card holder

I do have Aeon New Gold Card, Old Aeon Gold Card has cancelled one year ago I think

Interested on Aeon Big Card, however, seem like is quite difficult apply from them, probably will terminate the Watami card and apply from branch

I have a feeling Watami restaurants closing down, that is why they cancel the card entirely instead of just ceasing cashback

I was received their call this morning, decided convert to Aeon Big Visa, because of the petrol rebate and online transaction rebate, but I literally dont go to Aeon Big shop, wanted to New Aeon Visa but actually online rebate and petrol rebate more worthy.

Both cards provide free KLIA/KLIA2 6 times Plaza Premium Lounge access.

to be honest, diff info from different CS because all this while I though even if I choose not to convert, I can still redeem.

My plan is simple. I choose not to convert. When my statement appear in this 1-2 days, I will submit the points redemption form. So the cashback from redemption should be received together with the 3% cashback.

These combined cashback will be given either by cheque or Aeon voucher. This is my understanding so far.
