Just used the watami card for some purchase in apple store sg. Let's see how good the rate aeon gives. Decided to use this card rather than amex this time.

No it isn't. Depends on usage though. 3% quarterly rebate with a min spend of 3k, used to be able to fully utilize but now I seldom use this card anymore after I got the maybank visa signature.

Can apply at any aeon credit outlets nationwide.

Yes for my spending habit. Prtrol & groceries. If insurance payment I might still consider using this watami card.

Have not receive any call till now. Will probably get the new aeon gold card for PPL purpose.

Just to clarify for this last month, have to spend min 3k or any amount to qualify for the 3% rebate? as it's only 1 month left out of the normal 3 month cycle.

Thanks! Need to do some planning then, maybe it's time to get that camera that I wanted for a long time, 3% service charge if use credit card so equals to the usual price. Maybe should do what some did, pay with watami, then use PB VS to pay thru posonline, then BT back to another aeon card.

I fear that almost all camera shops have surcharge for credit card purchase. His price is the cheapest in town, even with the surcharge still cheaper than most shops so I guess its' ok.

I just checked on aeon credit's website regarding the spend & get prizes campaign. Apparently aeon watami is not in the list of credit cards eligibility. Anyone can confirm this before I pay my insurance premium in advance?

thanks for the tips. so it'll be 4% rebate after taking into account the 2% deducted but. then only RM50 max not worth if it's a big amount
